From the grounds (which are exquisite) to the service (unbeatable) - it was truly a weekend to remember. We rented out the entire property and all the cabins. Rachel and her family were there every step of the way- no detail was too small. On the night of our rehearsal, my dress broke. Her husband scavenged the property for 30 minutes to find the safety pins and rig me back together! Our friends never stop talking about this adult camp. It was such a fun way to spend time together. The property is stunning and our pictures look like they're from a magazine. They have great relationships with all the vendors which really helped smooth out the planning. And they always let you come back to say hi and revisit the property. I couldn't recommend a place more. We will certainly be back to visit and rent the cabins for our anniversaries!

Speaking of meals, this place has amazing food! Catered to the brides's liking, the appetizers, lunch and dinner was an assortment of fresh green salads, roasted seasonal veggies, crab cakes, wild rice, roasted lamb and chicken skewers, roasted duck, grilled trout, pickled cucumbers and to top if off, continental breakfast was served every morning. This place is a foodie's heaven. If I lived near by, I would eat here once a week just for the homestyle cooked food! Just when we thought the afternoon reception was over, just after 6 PM, they served us the leftovers! I NEVER had this type of experience before! They also cater to special diets, for people like me with sensitive tummies. I felt spoiled and blessed to have had such unbelievable meals catered just for us! Check in was smooth and they even have someone drive you to the rooms and explain all the ins and outs. We stayed in the bungalows, which come with breakfast in the morning and a private golf buggy. The room is gorgeous and fitted with pretty much anything you need. There's a sunk in living room, with a giant L shaped couch. 2 massive TV's with chrome cast. Heated flooring in the bathroom. Private hottube outside. The breakfast is good, but nothing to write home about. Fresh pastries, fruit, and yogurt. It does get delivered to the door, which is a nice touch. The buggy is also really handy as the resort is pretty massive, so although getting around on foot is certainly possible, the cart makes it a lot easier. As for amenities, there's more than what we could even do. Family pools, adult-only pools, archery, horseback riding? and much more. The fitness facility is also surprisingly well stocked, with barbells, dumbbells, and cable machines.

Both were dry-, like they'd been cooked off site. Room was good enough, carpet was dirty and stained but we stayed at a pet friendly room so that may be it.

The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.

And, when we asked for more coffee packets and another pillow "Poof!" they were there. Now, this was off season and very few guests. I hope this is the level of hospitality during the busier months. But so glad we arrived after the heat and crowds. We had a king-bed yurt. Mattress was very comfy. And large soft pillows. Grateful for the small fridge and microwave oven. The oven seemed to have a grill/toast option which didn't really work for making toast. But we came prepared with granola and milk and enjoyed our breakfasts on the deck. We imagine during the summer months it much get pretty warm here. Not much shade, but spring and fall are delightful. Nearby hiking trail into the gorge would probably be best approached early or late in the day. Lots of nearby recreational activities including Smith Rock State Park. Sandbagger Saloon serves bar grub. An espresso cart had just closed for the season. Check about nearby equestrian opportunities and hiking on the Deschutes River. Also, very popular with fly-fisher folks.

They told us we didn't check in the date prior 8/29 (before our check-in date 8/30) and they rebooked the room. I showed them our proof of reservation showing the correct date of 8/30 and she shrugged and said "I don't know what to tell ya." I asked her why she didn't contact us before canceling our reservation and she said, "we don't do that." Mind you, this was a special trip for my husband's birthday! The manager also refused to give us a refund until I threatened to call the cops for double dipping- they took money for our reservation- that we NEVER canceled and took money for another reservation making the room unavailable. We had to scramble to find a hotel that costs 3x as much because of the holiday weekend and all they did was say "sorry". I will never book Smith Rock Resort again due to lack of accountability and respect from the owner - which is also evident in her responses to these reviews.

The staff was so friendly and the food was phenomenal! With 21 children and adults we had plenty of room for slip in sliding, kick ball, s'mores by the fire and over all good times! During out stay we rented both cabins and one of the trailers on site and were not disappointed. The houses are well appointed with all you need to feel right at home! One of the best parts was how comfortable our bed was. We slept like babies after a full day of activities. We are so grateful for the memories we made at Holiday Farms Resort and look forward to making more here in the future!

The room had a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. There was also a couch, good quality tv, and a fire place. I liked that I've was available and it was pre-bagged to ensure cleanliness. The bathroom had a his and her sink setup, the shower is separate from the toilet, and the air conditioner was perfect, when needed. My only dislike about the room was the outlet near the bed. There was only one outlet available for a device that was not a phone or laptop. I needed to hook up a medical device and the outlet was too far from the top of the bed. I used the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and trails. At times, the women's locker room was a dirty mess. It would have been nice for someone to stay on top of keeping it clean. During the conference, we were served food, coffee, tea, and drinks. All the staff attending to us were great. Anything we needed, they provided it. I would for sure visit again!
