The room is gorgeous and fitted with pretty much anything you need. There's a sunk in living room, with a giant L shaped couch. 2 massive TV's with chrome cast. Heated flooring in the bathroom. Private hottube outside. The breakfast is good, but nothing to write home about. Fresh pastries, fruit, and yogurt. It does get delivered to the door, which is a nice touch. The buggy is also really handy as the resort is pretty massive, so although getting around on foot is certainly possible, the cart makes it a lot easier. As for amenities, there's more than what we could even do. Family pools, adult-only pools, archery, horseback riding? and much more. The fitness facility is also surprisingly well stocked, with barbells, dumbbells, and cable machines.

This resort is 30 minutes from anything. It really needs to put effort in the details to attract the clientele willing to pay these prices. Morning coffee in the lobby seems like an obvious easy amenity. No such luck. I was also hoping for a decent sized gym but it's small and overrun with residents. Charging for pickleball is another miss. A few special touches need to be offered to make this property worth the drive and inconvenience. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the landscaping is outstanding, the restrooms are consistently clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. It's obvious that a great deal of pride goes into the upkeep. Our one significant concern is the site assignment policy. For the past five years, we've requested a specific site when reserving a full year in advance, and each year we've been reassigned upon arrival. This year, we were placed next to the highway, with significant road and foot traffic noise. When we asked about it, we were told that larger sites are sometimes held for bigger RVs, but we later saw a much smaller rig in the site we had requested, which made the policy difficult to understand. We absolutely understand that managing reservations is complicated, but when all sites cost the same, it does seem reasonable that long-time guests who've reserved a year ahead should have a fair shot at the site they requested. This has become frustrating enough that, for the first time in many years, my wife and I are seriously considering staying elsewhere. That's disappointing because we truly enjoy this resort and would rather continue returning. We hope management takes another look at this policy, because fixing it would make an already wonderful place even better.

The cabins are spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful, high-end touches. We always try to book one along the edge of the property facing the trees, and the views never disappoint. Waking up to a forest instead of a parking lot is hard to beat. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom is better than most luxury hotels, with a separate water closet, a large shower, and a deep soaking tub that fills from the ceiling. Beyond the cabins, the entire property is designed for relaxation. There are walking trails throughout, a welcoming lodge with plenty of space to gather, a well-maintained pool, and extensive grounds that encourage you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. One of our favorite things about FivePine is its location. It's an easy walk into downtown Sisters, which meant we could start our mornings with a stroll to Sisters Coffee and a visit to the local bookstore before heading back to enjoy the rest of the property. The lodge also has restaurants, a movie theater, and a spa on site, which I've reviewed separately. I could keep describing it, but honestly, the photos tell the story better than I can. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, FivePine is a wonderful choice. Will we be back? Absolutely. But they continued on and said owner services was closed for the weekend, I could call them on Monday, but they probably wouldn't move me because of a broken fireplace. This place used to be great, and we have many happy memories here, but if this is how they treat customers, I definitely would NOT RECOMMEND this place.

He is a true mixologist! We had 4 drinks each. Everyone had a different unique drink each time. He ask what we liked by sweet, salty, etc and he created something special to your taste.
