This Panaderia is the real deal when it comes to fresh Mexican breads. They make the bread, "al el estilo Tangancicuaro." Bread defiantly has a unique chewy texture that I have not had the pleasure of trying anywhere else. You have to come early because they only put one fresh batch out a day. Once they are sold out, they are sold out. Friday through Sunday they offer carnitas and menudo on the weekends. Customer service was excellent, semas de trigo were delicious and good prices.

Burrito de chicharron

Mexican bakery with a true baker/owner who is with some of his employees at 3:30 AM preparing breads and mexican pastries for the morning rush. Opens at 6:00 AM. The "bolios" (bo-li-yos) or Telara type rolls stuffed with cream cheese and japapeños are the star of the morning show, eat them while they are warm out of the oven with coffee or your way. The rest of the bread sells itself as well, very popular 7 days a week. On weekends, the panaderia sells burritos, carnitas, and chicharrones. The bakery's success speaks for itself as the owner has approval from the city to build his own building so he can expand his business and he should be breaking ground within a month. A lot of farmworkers in this area and working folks flock to the bakery to get their coffee and goodies to eat before going to work.

Special order: rainbow tie-dye conchitas
Kayla E.

I ordered via Instagram and had no problems with my order at all. Staff was friendly and helpful! One employee helped me take my 5 dozen conchitas to my car. These little conchitas were so good!! If I could have it everyday, I would. Each bite is as flavorful as the next. If you're thinking "well isn't it just the same pan dulce I could get at Vallarta?" ....NO. It's irreplaceable. Beyoncé would agree!

Best conchas in town. I ordered mini conchas and those were the perfect size. I totally recommend.

If you guys haven't tried the ube goodies from D'Cafe then you guys are definitely missing out!!!…read moreD'Cafe sells goodies right out of Fil Bake Shop, so you can find the goodies there or check them out on Instagram. It's probably a good thing that this is in Delano and not in Bakersfield because I would be there all the time. It's nice to see Fil Bake Shop expanding. D'Cafe is fairly new, but the baker knows her stuff. I've had my fair share of goodies from here and I think my favorite is a toss up between the crinkle cookies and the newer item which is the empanada ube hayala. The empanada texture is more like bread versus an empanada to me, but the filling is what makes it really addicting. Everyone in Delano has had the lady fingers at Fil Bake Shop, but has everyone in Delano tried the ube lady fingers from D'Cafe? If you have not tried it yet, then you better get it before it's sold out for the day. Just when you thought the lady fingers was the best thing, they one upped it with ube. FYI if you've never been here before then just know they only take cash. Parking is a little bit crazy, but when you get to the front of the line then you'll be greeted by friendly aunties and uncles waiting to serve you warm/freshly baked bread.

Parking lot is pretty small but there is street parking available. Everything looked so good and made it impossible to just pick a couple of things out. Here's what I ordered: 1. Carrot Cake: very moist and full of flavor. 4/5 2. Pineapple cake: very moist and topped with a nice pineapple filling. 5/5 3. Humongous Biscoff cookie. This was really good 5/5 4. Cheese rolls filled with guava 4/5. Flakey crust filled with cream cheese and guava jam. These are served warm and so yummy. 5. Mango Lemonade Refresher: 5/5 I was blessed with this beverage. I loved that it had carbonation. Please support your local small business. Everything is baked fresh, using quality ingredients. They also make custom cakes for any occasion and are reasonably priced.

We stopped by today to pick up some desserts for our 4th of July celebration. We were very impressed with the selection available, ranging from hot pastries to cool sweets. The bakery is super clean and well designed. The desserts are definitely not the kind you would find at other local spots, and it's great to have such a variety available locally. We picked up a carrot cake, a chocolate soufflé cake with wild berry and cream filling, and a pistachio cake with berry and cream filling. They were each packaged in a single serving size, cute container. The cakes were fresh, moist, and the cream topping was perfect! Not too sweet, but just right. We also bought some delicious lemon cupcakes, and a couple of croissant type of pastries that had a cream cheese filling and guava filling. They were fresh, hot, and a treat of flaky goodness. We also got a chocolate cookie that was inspired by one the owners sampled in New York. It's topped with delicious crumbled pistachios and was very good. I'm looking forward to taking my granddaughter here so we can sample more of their treats. I know she's going to love it. I can't say enough about this place. The owner was very helpful and courteous. Everything we bought was fresh and delicious. The bakery is super clean and the aroma of the freshly baked goods is amazing. We will definitely be back for more!
