I went with a sourdough loaf, their garden focaccia, and their best selling morning bun. The morning bun was delicious, and I don't even like morning pastries. Great with a coffee. The sourdough bread was as good as the reviews said they were. We made multiple sandwiches at home with them and with their house made vinaigrette (definitely order a side of this), it elevated the at-home sandwiches to another level. The garden focaccia was solid but not my favorite, it did go well with the pasta we made though. I wish they sold their sandwich focaccia bread as a standalone though. I was chatting with some other people in line and they saying how they go for their sandwiches because their vinaigrette and focaccia bread was so good, so definitely plan on ordering a sandwich next time around! Still, I found a couple of nice items (red velvet and some serious chocolate cake) my wife loved the chocolate but we found the red velvet to be quite dry and hard. I suspect that it had been in the case far too long. Fortunately the chocolate was so good, my wife said that it more than made up for it. Overall, the ambiance was simple bakery, nice folks, serving well. I suspect where these nice folks shine is in pre-orders (which makes TOTAL sense, as foot traffic, particularly in this bakery's location would be a tough sell indeed). I suspect that we will be keeping Dessert European Cakes and Pastries in mind for our upcoming bakery needs.

The semi sweet chocolate chucks topped with sea salt was a delightful combination which uplifted my energy levels during that dreaded afternoon crash. My coworker ate the chocolate muffin and she said it made her day! Mind you, she doesn't even like chocolate! After placing my order I took a walk around. The layout of the bakery let's the customers see the bakers crafting the delicious pastries.
