Craved a sandwich and stopped by this very cute corner deli. I was amazed by the friendliness of the owner/lady, the speed of service and the food. I ordered the half soup and half sandwich. The tomato basil soup was delicious. I went with the Van Gogh sandwich. Loved it! The bread was fluffy/fresh unlike most Ciabattas you get at other restaurants. I will definitely return here, there are several other sandwiches I want to try! read more

If I lived in Modesto I'd be here at least once per week! Wondering how the Subway across the street gets any business and then remembered Picasso's is only open until 2 pm. Customer service is welcoming and friendly. Smells delicious when you walk in and the vibe feels bright, like you want to chat and have lunch with your friends. My husband ordered the Raphael with macaroni salad and I ordered the Yesterday with tomato soup. That tomato soup was fantastic; it felt like a warm hug. read more

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Steak was extremely flavorful and the au jus was strong. The pesto pasta was exceptional and the owner was incredibly kind. Gave me a good recommendation for a sandwich and even gave me a free sample of their tomato and pesto soup which was also delicious. Can't highly recommend enough. read more

First of all the customer service was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious we ordered The Rafael sandwich and the Let It Be. They were both absolutely fantastic. The artwork displayed inside the business was all made by the owner, which was absolutely amazing. Even the artwork on the tables are his own art from what I understand. We loved Picasso's! This was my first time here at this restaurant. The staff was super nice and friendly. I am a vegetarian so I asked if I could alter one of the menu items which was a turkey sandwich- and of course they said yes! They added tomato and sprouts and left off the meat! Great Menu. Great Service. Reasonable good pricing. Paid parking lot nearby. If I were to make one change, it would be to make an effort to reduce plastic usage. We ordered one sandwich and two small containers of salads. For some reason, the order taker asked my companion if it was okay to split the sandwich between two containers. So we ended up with two clamshells. Each held 1/2 sandwich and a salad that was already in a plastic container. As a matter of fact, if I were to make two changes, I'd wrap sandwiches in paper to reduce the plastic load (and costs) even more. The food itself was excellent and it was enough food to satisfy the both of us. We were there during the lunch rush so we didn't get to walk around and look at the art on the walls. Absolutely love love love this shop. It is locally owned by a husband and wife who are the sweetest pair and the sandwiches are AMAZING! I ordered their signature Picasso sandwich which is a turkey/bacon on Dutch crunch and a pesto Mayo with a side of their pesto pasta and it was all I had hoped for and more from a sandwich and pasta duo. Everything is super fresh and the customer service here is excellent! My only grumble is that you can't get one on the weekend but that's probably better for me and my waistline ;) read more

I used to work in the downtown area and always would stop by during my lunch break. Over 5 years later I have switched jobs so I don't frequent often but when I do the owner always remembers who I am. You can tell they truly care about their customers. All the sandwiches are amazing, especially the lunch deal they have. The renoir is probably my favorite on the menu but you can't go wrong with any of them. I would highly recommend to stop here if you have the chance for lunch. read more

Delicious and creative sandwiches! Very unique sandwich shop. They have a large seating area indoors and plenty of tables outdoors. Took my order to go, website ordering was simple to do and our order was nicely packaged and ready at the counter when we arrived! Would love to try eating in their outdoor patio next time though!! It's not bad food, but the food quality, quantity and atmosphere done match the pricing. It's just not a good value IMO. I wish they had more hot sandwiches, and a few more traditional options. Many sandwiches have a untraditional take on a common sandwich. So it makes us selective eaters feel like there are not safe menu options that do not require modifications to the ingredient list. The owner seems nice and like he cares about his restaurant. read more

I am here on business and I stopped in for a salad. They made me a spinach salad minus bacon plus tuna, and it was amazing. The dressing on it was very rich and tasty. Very clean and fresh. OMG! The Soup today was beyond awesome, always clean and friendly. The art on the walls is a must see. My Sandwich was one of the best. You will no go away hungry and price...$12.99 is money well spent. Parking can be an issue but it's worth driving around the block to fine somewhere to park. Pablo Picasso was delicious! Bacon was precooked but we don't live in a perfect world. I loved my sandwich and the Rafael was delicious as well. Can't forget to mention the $2 pesto pasta salad with fresh cheese, yummm! The owner was there crafting the sandwich's and was a delight to talk with. Stopped here to get a picnic lunch to take to nearby Dos Rios state park and not only were the sandwiches delicious, the service was wonderful! Every aspect from the special soup and cookies they added for us to try, and the simply gorgeous artwork on the walls, along with the outside table ambiance were as welcoming as the owners and staff. This was a total surprise. Went to see the new Dos Rios State Park and decided to find a little deli for a sandwich lunch to eat at the park. My friend, Lin, googled this place and we were treated like royalty. They did just what we wanted with a smile and even threw in some extra treats for free. That don't happen very much in these days. The sandwiches here are really good! I mean they better be because it's a deli. The bread if incredible! You'll look at your sandwich and think, "wow that's a lot of bread", but by the end you will be wanting more of it. I got the Dali sandwich and it was KILLER!! The menu mentions that it has salsa on it, but just imagine a salsa sandwich. I read good reviews about the potato salad and it was good. The sandwiches are just on my top 3 list they have soooo many options and are delicious but as I am a creature of habit I get the Spiffy Tiffy every time which consists of pesto, provolone, mushroom, avocado and pepper jack cheese, and their their halal chicken (this is what sets them apart from the other sandwich spots with a chicken option) it is SO good. I don't care for mushrooms but I will get the avocado on a little sometimes. It's a lot of goodness going on. The servers are extremely friendly, and always let you know nicely when your sandwhich is ready they don't just yell your name out even if it gets busy lol Everything is also very clean and sanitary with clean fountain soda areas and tables wiped down. I prefer this location over a lot of other locations because it is very spacious, it's self seating after you order your sandwich and the booths are nice. Some of the ones in the Bay Area there's absolutely nowhere to sit and the lines waaay out the door! So this location is a luxury! I even found one in Vegas off the strip and now one of my best friends is obsessed. Yes it's that good!! You absolutely have to try this, and any sandwhich with their Halal chicken! 10/10!

They have a nice bakery, hot food section, deli, salad bar, wine bar, and meat/fish counter. There is a huge gourmet cheese selection - literally any cheese you may want (cow's milk, goat, sheep) from nearly any country, they seem to have it! They often offer samples (if I remember correctly, if you want to try a particular cheese, they will give you a sample of it)! There are soups, sandwiches, salads, and other hot foods like mac n cheese. The quality of the meats is great! Everything is very fresh and well-maintained. The produce is very fresh too! Although many of these products are higher-priced, their other grocery items (i.e. canned/boxed/bottled/frozen foods) are much surprisingly cheaper than other grocery stores. The store is consistently clean and organized. The store hasn't been updated/remodeled but it still has a timeless design that looks very neat. The staff members are very friendly and will quickly help you whenever needed. The store is never busy and you will rarely have to wait in line. I definitely recommend shopping at O'Brien's Market and will be back!

Rinse the bottle out 2-3 times, if a milk ring is still there, okay. I'm not going to put it through the dishwasher or use a scrubber on the inside. Okay, no big deal. But, don't pick up the bottle like it's contaminated. Don't act like it's dirty and disgusting. Don't act like the bottle is worthless. I didn't project those signals about you!

When I arrived at the store a woman with a clipboard (possibly a manager) walked by and I asked her about getting my balloons filled. She replied with a rude tone, "we don't fill outside balloons anymore and besides we are out of helium. I let her know I called beforehand. "Who did you talk to, she asked. When I said I had no idea only I know that it was this location she said another 3 times they don't fill outside balloons and are out of helium. There was no apology, only a response as if I was wasting her time. I now wish I would have asked for her name.
