So speaking with her, texting the delivery driver- oh the joy when I hear my Step-Mom scream, "I see her!!!" We should have had the driver in to share some pie. Great service and the story of the gate, is a wonderful memory. I would use them again, again.

Downgrading this to a meh. Yes the produce is good quality. Yes the idea of sourcing local…read moreproducts and delivering greener is something I value. However, the service keeps sliding downhill each week. I don't know if all the great employees quit after 2019 but 2020 has been riddled with errors. Out of seven total deliveries so far, two have had missing items and I'm not a fan of the policy that doesn't just refund the money to your credit card. They give you store credit towards your next purchase as a default. If I'm consistently getting wrong orders, I'm going to start going elsewhere and don't want to go through the hassle of requesting a refund. My last order was confirmed delivered by email and the delivery person didn't even go to the right address, which caused a lot of stress because I had an invoice, had a confirmation, but the customer service person couldn't get the driver on the phone. The customer service person was supposed to call me back to confirm it was being redelivered. They didn't. The food was eventually delivered but the drivers never knock so I have no idea when it was delivered. I just happened to stumble across my delivery an hour after I got off the phone with support when I went to take out the trash. Completely sub-par quality control and delivery even though the products are great.

Their website can be very "glitchy", and even though I had canceled this order multiple times apparently the order was still on their books. I received a text telling me it was going to be delivered. I was at an appt at the Cross Cancer, weigh 90 pounds, and cannot bring the order in myself. I tried to tell the "customer care" representative my issue. I put that in quotations as she didn't "care" at all and just kept repeating that it was my fault for not submitting my order properly. She did call the driver and instruct him not to deliver my order as I am not physically able to carry it in the house myself and my son was away for the weekend. Even though the driver didn't deliver the food I was charged for it. I have repeatedly attempted to contact a supervisor and I am repeatedly told someone will get in contact with me. They have not. What they have done is charge my credit card so now.....already weighing 90 pounds....battling leukaemia.....I have no more grocery money for the remainder of September. Shame on you Spud! I have suspended delivery as apparently I can't even cancel my account or remove my payment information, and no one calls me. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM SPUD.....THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL!!!!!! The atmosphere is very cozy and they even had a grocery shopping area with it. I think Tesoro is definitely based on Italian cuisine and foods. Especially because they added the Italian flag. They once served a sample of pasta and it was absolutely delicious! You cannot deny the mortadella here if you are up for it. Overall, I would give a four because of one thing; the desserts.

In my first review I only gave them 3 stars because the coffee was not hot. I drink it black so people who add milk and or sugar would definitely notice the temperature. This time the temperature was at the low side of normal so it went down quickly. Here's the thing. The server noticed my cup was empty and asked it I would like a second cup. She said it's free with meals (drip coffee). I was impressed because only a few places offer that important second cup. Surprisingly the second cup of coffee was served at just the right temperature. I really appreciated the easy listening music that was not turned way up like so many places do these days. The ambiant sound was pleasant and it was easy to have a conversation. This is a very relaxing place to hang out. I can now give four stars and can easily recommend Awn.

It had a hearty/organic taste to it. Unfortunately because I ordered it to go, the egg yolk ran in the box making the sandwich soggy and messy. If I had known that I would've just ordered something else or came back when I had more time to sit in the cafe to enjoy it. Although enjoyable, the sandwich was a little small for the price and with no sides it's not something I'm itching to order again. I'd probably stop by for a drink though. Their candy section seems to be one of the best stocked ones in town, and their fruits and vegetables are always fresh. This particular location has a nice clean environment and all the shelves were well stocked. They still maintain a 'new' environment to them despite being open for over a year now. Keep in mind that this Save On is located in an area which can get heavily congested when everyone comes back from work. If you are living nearby I would go, otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way for this particular store.

Parking can sometimes be a challenge since you have many different businesses using the lot during the day (including a GE outpost with a lot of employees). Like many of the newer and revamped Save-Ons, this one has a decent bulk department, and I also enjoyed their ready-to-eat foods. Several salads and the turkey wrap were usually excellent. Also, a small pharmacy area where I often had to stock up on allergy medicine. The prices weren't fabulous since it's one of the wealthier areas of town, but for lunch, it was better for me than feasting on the fast food options like Dairy Queen and Wok Box and it was quicker than Famoso.
