My friends and I are here visiting, and we were all very excited to try this local pizzeria! Unfortunately, we were not met with kind staff. While the pizzeria was busy, we were not met by any staff to give us direction on how to get a table. We asked other people dinning at the establishment if we found our own table or if we needed to wait to be seated. When we tried sitting at an open table, one of the workers was looking at us in confusion so we asked if we could sit at the table and she told us no that they would get a smaller table ready for us. That was fine by us and we walked back to wait for a table. We were then ignored by every staff member for 20 minutes with no update on a table or that we would be experiencing a wait that long. A staff member from the kitchen did ask if we were waiting for a table at one point and we said yes, but then she walked away and we never saw her again. We did not feel welcome at this establishment and decided to leave and spend our money and time elsewhere! This is the only place we have been where the staff have treated us so poorly. The ambiance was nice and had a cool vibe, but the lack of customer service really ruined the whole experience.. very disappointed. read more

Came here 4 years later on our annual trip to PCB. The quality of the chicken has definitely went down. I don't mind the almost $30 for chicken Alfredo when the chicken is good. Pasta sauce and pasta doesn't cost much but chicken sure does so I get it. The chicken wasn't seasoned very well and super rubbery. The Alfredo laced salt and pepper too. On a side note, the garlic knots were still the same - Amazing. I will look elsewhere for pasta on the next years trip though. Sad because this place was my go to. read more

Panama pizzeria is a pizzeria located in as the name suggest Panama City beach Florida. After a long and fun day at the beach me and the family was looking for an easy dinner to enjoy at our hotel. The interior was very much a bar vibe. Dark lit, smaller and chaotic. This part of the experience is the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review. I walk In and nobody greets me. So I walk around to the side and a woman at the bar pints me to entrance bar and says pickups will be there. Now I arrived right at my 45 minute window so I'm sure my pizza was done the whole time. I sat at the counter for over 15 minutes and nobody came to me. The lady who pointed me over there while was very busy could Obviously see nobody had came and helped me. Finally I noticed a guy bussing tables and talking orders pass me by for the 3rd time and I stopped him. 30 seconds later he brought my pizza out. But I had to initiate contact for a second time since arriving. On to the pizza. The pizza was what I'd call a New York style that has large slices and it was very good. Probably the. Eat tasting pizza I've had in Panama City so far (granted I've only tried like 4 places in my 2 visits to the city). But the taste alone had the makings of a 5 star. The whole family enjoyed and devoured our order of a large cheese and large pepperoni. Overall great pizza and bad experience. Maybe take out isn't this places forte. Maybe I caught them on a bad night? But they have to do better than that. Amazing experience. I eat pizza relatively seldom so finding this one which if I wanted to, I could walk to, was very exciting. Very large bar area with lots of seating. Indoor high tips as well as regular. Some outdoor seating which overlooks Thomas Drive. The staff was awesome. My drinks so good and my margarita pizza so so so good. The strip mall look of the outside is misleading - there's an upbeat, almost club vibe inside. There's a lot of personality inside. The entrance is right at the bar and when we walked in, we were greeted by loud music and a welcoming woman who was tending bar. She said hello and helped us to the tables outside and kindly dried off the tables that had been doused in the passing storm. It seemed to us like she was the owner. We could tell that she wanted us to feel welcomed. The pizzeria feels so local and I want to love it for that reason. It was just not a good experience for our family, unfortunately. Our server was probably very busy and that's understandable - it's a holiday weekend and a Saturday evening. He wasn't rude and we don't expect a song and dance from anyone in hospitality. He just seemed clueless and unaware and aloof. He didn't understand gluten free when we asked if the garlic encrusted fish special was GF. He just said it comes with rice so probably not. ‍ Maybe because he was so busy ? It was a $33 dish and they missed that sale - my son ordered a burger (no bun) instead. We ordered drinks and the beers were just below room temperature...pretty disappointing. We were missing a drink as well but made due. We had to go inside to get our next beverages - again, assuming our server was too busy? After a long wait, our food arrived and the portions were ridiculously small. The cheesesteak wrap was alone on a white plate and was not enough to satisfy a child. It was $13.00 and came with no fries, no chips etc . Fries were $6.00 extra - we only found that out when the bill arrived. Do for $19.00 my husband had a tiny wrap and a side of fries. He ended up giving 1/2 of his wrap to one of our kids who was still very hungry after his dinner. I had a side salad as my dinner and it was brought out 30+ minutes before everyone else's dinner. The salad was fine but lack luster with two olives and two tomatoes and lots of shredded lettuce and a sprinkling of cheese. I ordered a martini to right my nerves and that was truly spot on. One of our kids ordered chicken tenders and loved it - a fair and filling portion and was as expected. The other kids spaghetti and meat ball dinners were quite tiny. I recommend only ordering pasta off the kids menu if you have very young kids. We had to stop to feed the two kids who ordered the spaghetti right after dinner. The burger was ordered by my teenager - it was fine. We did feed him again after dinner as well. We had driven all day to get to PCB and wanted to enjoy a family dinner. We did enjoy our time together there but it had nothing to do with the meal. Luckily we had a great view of the fireworks - a bonus after two days of driving! The crust was very good, ample toppings and the crust not burnt! I also ordered a Cesar salad and it was very good with large shaved pieces of parmesan on the top. Gave wonderful suggestions in both the food and drink and did so in a manner that told us he enjoys his job. This is not a place to get in and out of fast so do not go when you are on a time crunch but we so enjoyed our whole experience. The garlic knots came in a little cast iron pan and had extra butter and chopped up garlic on the bottom. I didn't even use the marinara sauce that came with....just sopped up the remaining butter and garlic. My Chicken Franchese was cooked perfectly. Light and buttery and the sauce was perfect. I'm giving it 3 stars, though, because it could've been much worse. We went on a Sunday and there was a bit of a crowd, but nothing crazy. It took a bit for a server to come over to us, so we asked about it and one came over right away. He was a nice guy but didn't know a thing about the drinks or menu. He didn't have an answer for any question I asked him, which didn't feel like a good sign. I played it safe with my order - opting for a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and a glass of red. My boyfriend got chicken parm. The portion sizes were very generous and we each got two meals out of them due to leftovers. Bonus points there, but the dishes themselves were pretty mediocre. I'm definitely not running back to order mine again. We did get garlic knots also though - and they were GARLICKY - but very good. I'd say that was the best part of the meal. Overall, I'm not sure if we caught them on an off night or ordered the wrong stuff. It wasn't the greatest first impression, but Panama Pizzeria definitely has some loyal customers. I imagine that's for a good reason, so I'd be willing to give them one more try and will update this review if I do! read more

We were in PCB for a family vacation and our AirBnB hostess recommended we try Panama Pizzeria. Our waiter was on shift by himself with a full house and he was great!! He was super kind, which can be tough when you're on your own. We really appreciate him taking care of our little Dino friends our little boy left behind. We called the next morning, and the owner allowed us to come up before they opened to pick them up. Not only was the service great, but the pizza was great too!!
