I lived in San Diego for a long time and also worked in Mexico a few years ago. The Jalisco Chicken is a touch salty but delicious. The Carnitas is WONDERFUL. Tender, juicy, perfect. I explained that he had already asked someone for another sweet tea and I wasn't sure if he was getting it or not she went to get it. She then came back and asked was that sweet tea or unsweetened. We said again sweet. She came back and it was unsweetened. Then came my dinner. It came with onion and tomatos with the shrimp. Only the plate was hot which didn't make any sense, the chipotle sauce they added on top tasted absolutely like nothing unfortunately. The "ambiance" of the place felt off since it was almost completely empty and we had several different people come up to us and ask if the food was okay. Which is normal but it just got irritating since it seemed like everybody who worked there just kept on asking us. Check was about $60 including tip, to me personally it wasn't worth it.
