Fantastic Mexican restaurant- servings are huge and they work with you to customize your order.

At first I wasn't sure about it, however the parking lot was so full we had to circle back to try again. We sat in a booth that was comfortable. We were excited about them having horchata however it was a disappointment. They replaced it with a drink and it was fine, the appetizer we got the dip sampler.. the bean dip tastes like canned beans, the cheese dip was decent with the salsa mixed in the guacamole was also good with the salsa mixed in or with the cheese dip. The orders were two al pastor tacos and two carnitas tacos.. they were pretty good especially with their diablo chili!! yummmy , we also ordered the Mexican shrimp cocktail... I wish the cocktail sauce was a bit thicker but other than that it was spot on!!! The shrimp were great and the avocado were perfect !! Overall the eagerness of the employees makes you feel like you're a guest in their home.. it was great. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more!! read more

Really good food just a little too pricey. The best taco place in Columbus has a pretty similar menu, specializing in al pastor and gringas (al pastor tacos with cheese) and theirs is the best I've ever had but they're even cheaper than Panchos. But with that said, Panchos food is pretty awesome and definitely something different for the area. The price isn't so high that it stops me from getting it once in awhile but it would definitely be in heavier rotation if it were just a little more reasonably priced. read more

Panchos tacos is the greatest restaurant ever. My favorite, when it comes to food they understood the assignment. Ive ordered from there more than I can count and it never disappoints. My favorite is the plain cheese quesadillas with chips and cheese. They have the best cheese thats coming from a BIG cheese lover. Sometimes my orders have been ready in 5 minutes thats faster than McDonalds! I've eaten in the restaurant and ordered through a delivery service Both amazing. I love this restaurant!! In fact my husband and I rarely order any where else! The food is so good and authentic. As a vegan I can honestly say there is no other Mexican restaurant in the area that offers the quality and variety of food that they do here. My husband isn't vegan and wouldn't go anywhere else for his fav tacos. We love the home style atmosphere and service. If we have an issue with our order they fix it and are so kind!! Some have complained that the tacos are small, and they are...and they are not. They're small for American tacos (and isn't everything small compared to the American version) but perfect for authentic Mexican street tacos. If you are new to street tacos start out by forgetting what you know about tacos. Crunch shell is out, ground beef is out, cheddar cheese is out...Now, think that you are getting awesome tastes of Mexico on a soft corn tortilla. Now you get the idea. Come on Tuesday and order one of each of the tacos on the daily special. I got 4 for 6$. It was plenty for lunch for me and I am a big guy. The carnitas and steak were very good. The al Pastor was good but a little (greasy). The selection of Mexican soda was great. The American sodas there were the Mexican version so, sugar based not high fructose corn syrup: Bonus! I found myself craving tacos yesterday like no other, and I was trying to justify driving to Columbus to my usual place, but I'm so, so glad I did a search for my area and found Panchos. The environment inside is modern and clean, and the tacos were to die for. The cheese dip is also fantastic, but the tacos were really the star of the show. Nice chunks of steak that was marinated and juicy, the perfect amount of meat, it was just outstanding. Even my best friend, who doesn't care much for tacos, fell in love. I'm so happy to see a casual, quick, CLEAN dining spot in the area, and it's definitely going to become a weekly dinner for us and well worth the 25 minute drive. read more

If you're burned out on typical American food in Mansfield (hamburger, fast food, coneys, etc.) This place is a nice reprieve from all of that. I'll second that the burritos here are better than Chipotle. It's a tad bit more in price than them, but the quality of carnitas in mine more than makes up for it. read more

Delicioso!!! Had a great first experience here. The folks are super friendly and very helpful The service was excellent. Took a minute to figure out the flow but it's all good. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you if you're eating in or you wait for it at the pick up counter. First you get your chips and salsa and the chips were thick and crispy and warm. The salsa has a great flavor and just a nice little bite to it just enough to wake up your taste buds you know it's just the salsa's way of saying Hi I'm here!!! I ordered the carnitas dinner and it was absolutely yummy. The meat was tender and delicious expertly seasoned. The beans were also delicious as well as the rice. Overall it was a very large portion and I ended up with lunch the next day. (Well to be honest I never get lunch the next day it usually ends up beings hub's midnight snack but it's all good.) I always say Panchos is an authentic version of Chipotle. My typical choice of meat would be chicken at a Mexican restaurant but here it is carnitas. It is fun going inside because they have an ample amount of hot sauces. "The bowl" is a very large portion- two meals for me. If you're looking for a smaller portion I would go with the two tacos. read more

Finally got to visit the physical location, this place has all your legit Taco needs, and even drinks too! They have a very large selection of hot sauces to choose from, the place is clean and the food is better than Chipotle in my opinion! (and I like that place too). I've had their rice bowls, borritos and tacos so far and everything has been delicious. Their mango salsa is very good too, give it a try when you stop in! Having spent $14.57 for lunch I was disappointed when I opened my takeout order at home. I'd ordered a combo plate and noticed that beans and rice didn't automatically come with it, so I ordered a side of those. I would describe my meal as "all brown"; no lettuce, no tomato, no sour cream and no guacamole. I recently moved back to my hometown Mansfield and was excited to try a new Mexican restaurant. But I guess I've been spoiled by LaHacienda and Azteca back in Washington state, where they do serve beans and rice with each entree and the fixins that I listed above automatically come with each meal too, you don't have to ask. Over all my meal was bland, boring. I won't be going back there again. Time to give a different restaurant a try... read more

I have been so excited to try this place and they did not disappoint. Went there 2 days ago and my daughter made me promise I would take her back tonight before she had to head home to Tennessee tomorrow. We had the gorditas bc they were the special and were 2 for 4 dollars. I got 1 chicken and 1 Carnitas and my daughter got steak and carnitas. We both agreed the carnitas were the best. Probably the best carnitas I have ever had. The gorditas were nothing like a taco bell gorditas which are more like pita bread. These were like a thick corn tortilla they either pan fried or deep fried. And doing so makes a pocket that is cut open and filled. Like an arepa or a pupusa. It was filled with the meat of your choice, refried beans, lettuce, pico, cheese, and sour cream. Sooooo good!! Tonight will probably try a taco and will update my review. But if u want to try some delicious AUTHENTIC Mexican food this is the place for you!! read more

After trying to be seated at two other Mexican restaurants that I used to go to I lucked out and found Pancho's Tacos. I walked right in and was seated and served immediately. Our server Richard was very friendly and knowledgeable. Best service I have ever had. Hands down. Also the food was superior than the other Mexican restaurants I had foolishly tried to dine at. Stopped in for lunch today. Ordered two tacos and chips and salsa for a total cost of $11.50. Thought that was pretty steep for two tacos and chips but was fine with it as long as the portions were good and the quality was good. Unfortunately the tacos were tiny with no toppings. I am not a onion fan and that was the only topping that went on them. The meet had a really good flavor but unfortunately there was no toppings. Will order something different and give it another chance. But seems to be overpriced for what you get. That price did not include a drink. read more

The steak burrito is always my go to item. The food is great and they have a great selection of Mexican sodas to choose from.

Hoping that it will get better is not a promising way to start a review, but it's optimistic if nothing else. Pricey! Husband and I went for the first time not long after they opened and spent $30.00 on food and warm, sugary drinks for the 2 of us. They no longer have the novelty of being a food truck in this location, but like most new restaurants, there always seem to be a few kinks to work out. When you enter the restaurant you stand in line and order at the counter, which is a disadvantage if you're not familiar with their menu from their food truck days (we were not), and you have 20 people in line behind you waiting to order. The menu features plenty of items, known and unknown, so it took a question or two to make our choices. We each ordered $8 burritos, a drink, and hubby added an order of tacos which turned out to be 2 smallish tacos for $6.00. The room temperature, bottled, and "mystery" sodas must have been about $3.00 each to bring our bill up so high. The dining area itself was basically a carryover from the location's previous days as What's for Dessert. Not a problem so much as the logistics of settling in with your meal being. After placing your order, you can take a warm, bottled soda sitting to the left of the counter in very random fashion. They seemed to have Mexican Coke, Tamarind soda (what?!), and something gold colored in a bottle with no label. Besides these and a couple of neon colored drinks from dispensers behind the counter, that was it- no tea, no sugar free choices. Not so great for a diabetic. Unfortunately, I also have to add that there seemed to be no visible bottlecap opener readily available to customers. My advice: byob. Another logistic issue was that you have to to get through the menu line twice to pick up your order at the far right of the counter and back to the dining area, making things a bit awkward. The burritos and tacos were tasty, although I found the side handful of flat, unsalted nacho chips a bit lame. We were really hoping to find a more authentic approach to Mexican food in this area than the myriad of name-shifting establishments with the interchangeable menus we've seen for years. We did like our food, but another taco would have made that $6 feel a little better spent, given the size of them. I can't say a lot about the service since it was fairly standard self-service. We didn't have to wait too long for our order to be called despite how busy they were on a Friday evening. We will return eventually, but maybe just for carry out, no drinks, the next time. read more
