I highly enjoy Victor's. I've lived in Southern California, Texas, and a few other states, and this place is more traditional in flavor than the other Mexican restaurants around here. I do wish they can get their speaker/microphone worked on soon. It's not totally broken, but it is difficult to understand what is being said. Well, this place is working wonders. Stuck in the middle of nowhere Ohio, doing DECENT, YES DECENT Mexican food, I salute them. This is a small joint and it's nearly ALL KITCHEN. I walk up to the window and wait really long seeing as I'm 3 feet from the girl behind the glass. If they open the window, you could almost make your own food. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which is served all day but took about 15 mins and 2 Mini tacos. She apologized for the delay. The Pros: Great size for a burrito. The eggs were great. Food was hot. The Cons: The food lacks flavor and heat. Mild Pico De Gallo is just tomatoes and onions. The cheese is cheap. You can tell if you've had the good stuff. Eggs are cooked on the grill. This is a NO-NO. Get an EGG PAN, it's used only for eggs(thus the name). Ugly eggs are just bad. The tortilla develops a sweetness when fried, it's almost like a sopapilla. Prices are slightly high, especially for the quality. Tweak a few things and step up the quality of your ingredients. ADD SOME FLAVOR. Victor's is something that I get Door Dashed fairly regularly. I tend to go for the breakfast burritos, as their sizes are massive, and you have lots of choices in regard to breakfast meats. That said, I'd give a few pointers in regards to making a GOOD breakfast burrito, ie, cooking eggs separately, and frying the potatoes, as opposed to the softer iterations that they tend to use. That's where I tend to knock them a half point, as well as their hit or miss packaging sometimes. Personal fave: carne asada fries. Those things are LIFE. Box of fries covered in cheese, grilled steak, asada style, onion, pico, guac and sour cream. (I tend to hold the guac/sour cream) They also have a large selection of quesadillas, and every version I've tried has been excellent. I'd definitely recommend checking them out. read more

Don't let the lime green building scare you. I saw this place a year ago and didn't stop. This time while I was in town and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! It was delicious with so much flavor. The ingredients were fresh. I had the carne asada soft taco and my son had the 3 rolled taquitos. My son said the guacamole that was on his taquito was good. (He normally doesn't care for guacamole) We had the mild and hot sauce too which were great too. My son loves spicy and he said the sauce was spicy. I though the mild had a bit of quick. I will definitely be coming back when I am in town. If I lived in the area I would probably try every item on the menu. read more

Victor's Tacos (you may know them from their Delaware location) now means I can too easily access my guilty pleasure foods, but I'm nevertheless pleased. My boyfriend chose the steak fajita burrito. It was a good size with a nice balance of peppers, meat, rice and cheese. He said it was fairly good but felt the the meat was much too greasy. I ordered a chimichanga meal: chicken, rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream and a pop for $7.99. They were quick and my portions were large. Best Mexican food in Marion, and I include all of their sit-down Mexican restaurants in that claim. You can get spicy: their loaded nachos are loaded with jalapenos. Most of what you can get is Mexican street food. The price is not the cheapest in town, but you get far more for your money. Passing through from out of town. Sketchy town but this place stuck out like a gem. Very cute and clean on the outside. Went through the drive through and was politely greeted and received our order with no trouble at all. Extensive menu for a drive through service but all descriptions and pictures looked great. The gentleman working was extremely friendly and respectful with excellent customer service manners. High five for that part! Our food came out promptly and was HOT, fresh and very filling. My wife raves about this place but this isn't her review. If I could rate it a 4.5, I would for one large reason. So I have never liked guacamole. I don't feel anything that looks like baby poop and turns brown quickly when you leave out should be ingested. However....we stopped here on our all-day date as part of a progressive dinner. I joke with my wife about how often she eats lunch here but I didn't realize how true that was until we paid. The beautiful wife has had probably a third of the menu and this time went with a bean tostada with mild sauce. I ordered three taquitos and this gets back to the start of my review. They came with guacamole on the taquitos which I was expecting it to come on the side. When we rolled up to pay, the woman working clearly recognized the gorgeous one and they had a good laugh together like old friends. The woman working was friendly and engaging. The service was quick. As we drove off, I discovered my taquitos had the guac on them. The wife offered to scrape them for me and I said no. Now since it was night and I was eating I didn't get visually grossed out by the guac. Instead....it tasted good. Victor's Tacos changes my opinion on something I hated before and that's the mark of a great restaurant. Well worth the stop in a town with few decent fast food options. read more
