People are super friendly at this place. Has a drive thru or walk up window to order. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos. Tacos were not seasoned very well, kinda bland. They also mix the onions and cilantro together in a cup for you to put on the tacos. My cup had lots of onions and very little cilantro. When I asked for more cilantro they told me that it was pre-mixed. Very disappointing. They did have two outside tables for seating which was a plus. Who doesn't love the ghetto ambiance of dining? I used to order from here every week. But it's greatly declined, and I don't know if they changed a chef or what, but this food was utter garbage and they cheat you on what they are serving considering the price. It's been three tries in a row now and it has SUCKED each of these tries. The first try - something just tasted "off." It was hard to describe. I ordered the supreme nachos and it it had the cream sauce I didn't ask for and it just tasted bad. They also didn't include the chips and cheese dip that I ordered. But like, I said, I was a faithful customer so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second try, it tasted SOUR. Like something was spoiled. Unedible. Today, I tried again. I ordered Rice, beans, sour cream, and guac. It literally looks like they THREW the beans on there and the cheese. There's no rice, and barely any sour cream. Service was good but the chimichanga sucked. They use a shredded beef that was very tough and had zero flavor, the chimichanga was soggy and the beans tasted stale. The rice had zero flavor. I highly enjoy Victor's. I've lived in Southern California, Texas, and a few other states, and this place is more traditional in flavor than the other Mexican restaurants around here. I do wish they can get their speaker/microphone worked on soon. It's not totally broken, but it is difficult to understand what is being said. Victor's Taco Shop in Marion is a real find. I've been looking for a place to get a chorizo breakfast burrito, specifically chorizo, egg, cheese and potato. They did not disappoint. Although we moved here from the West end I've been here for six months and I've driven by this place It's somehow had stayed hidden from us. But Friday I finally walked in its door and it's a hit on all points. First off cleanliness. This place was spotless very well cleaned and maintained. Specials posted and menu board easy to read. Very reasonable prices. Tables well spaced for the current conditions. We received a very friendly greeting. That feeling of caring continued throughout our meal. And the food definitely did not disappoint. I got my breakfast burrito my wife got her taco salad plus we got a side order of chips with delicious queso sauce. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which is served all day but took about 15 mins and 2 Mini tacos. She apologized for the delay. The Pros: Great size for a burrito. The eggs were great. Food was hot. The Cons: The food lacks flavor and heat. Mild Pico De Gallo is just tomatoes and onions. The cheese is cheap. You can tell if you've had the good stuff. Eggs are cooked on the grill. This is a NO-NO. Get an EGG PAN, it's used only for eggs(thus the name). Ugly eggs are just bad. The tortilla develops a sweetness when fried, it's almost like a sopapilla. Prices are slightly high, especially for the quality. Tweak a few things and step up the quality of your ingredients. ADD SOME FLAVOR. Victor's is something that I get Door Dashed fairly regularly. I tend to go for the breakfast burritos, as their sizes are massive, and you have lots of choices in regard to breakfast meats. That said, I'd give a few pointers in regards to making a GOOD breakfast burrito, ie, cooking eggs separately, and frying the potatoes, as opposed to the softer iterations that they tend to use. That's where I tend to knock them a half point, as well as their hit or miss packaging sometimes. Personal fave: carne asada fries. Those things are LIFE. Box of fries covered in cheese, grilled steak, asada style, onion, pico, guac and sour cream. (I tend to hold the guac/sour cream) They also have a large selection of quesadillas, and every version I've tried has been excellent. I'd definitely recommend checking them out. read more

Don't let the lime green building scare you. I saw this place a year ago and didn't stop. This time while I was in town and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! It was delicious with so much flavor. The ingredients were fresh. I had the carne asada soft taco and my son had the 3 rolled taquitos. My son said the guacamole that was on his taquito was good. (He normally doesn't care for guacamole) We had the mild and hot sauce too which were great too. My son loves spicy and he said the sauce was spicy. I though the mild had a bit of quick. I will definitely be coming back when I am in town. If I lived in the area I would probably try every item on the menu. read more

It was a good size with a nice balance of peppers, meat, rice and cheese. He said it was fairly good but felt the the meat was much too greasy. I ordered a chimichanga meal: chicken, rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream and a pop for $7.99. They were quick and my portions were large. Went through the drive through and was politely greeted and received our order with no trouble at all. Extensive menu for a drive through service but all descriptions and pictures looked great.
