Ate here 4 times, the first 3 times were decent but they charge you for chips and salsa ! The last time we ate there I ordered the taquitos a la carte. why did I have to ask for guacamole? At the end of my first taquito the beef was burnt up! I looked at the ends of the remaining taquitos and the beef in them were all burnt up! How do you serve a customer burnt up meat? read more

Delicious Salvadorean dishes can be found here. I had the Carne Guisada off of the lunch menu. It is a beef stew with potatoes and carrots, served with rice. I ordered the Salvadorean homemade tortillas to go with the meal. These were made fresh and thicker than the usual corn tortillas. The beef stew was very much like what can be made at home and was very delicious. The beef was flavorful and tender. I also ordered a Queso Con Loroco Pupusa to try as well. This was generously sized and came with the curtido and a tomato salsa. There was plenty of loroco in the pupusa as well. The service was efficient and friendly. The meal took a few more minutes to be served as I had a couple of items that took a little more time to make. The dining room was comfortable and lighted well. I had beautifully cooked plantains (crema to dip in), a squash and cheese pupusa ..tried a garlic and cheese pupusa too...(served with a side of red sayer and cabbage slaw to put on top) DELICIOUS! I hadn't been here since 2017 and it's definitely changed! The inside is completely different from what I remember. It's bright and beautiful. The booths are comfortable. It's a pricey place so be ready for the bill in advance. We had expected mariachi band to be playing but they let us know they haven't it since Covid. I would come back again if they did! My best friend and I enjoyed each other's company, and celebrated her birthday. We each ordered a flight $30 each, the drink prices were not listed. We had so much food! We ordered the molcajete and it was delicious. I am allergic to shellfish so they were able to put it on the side for my friend to enjoy. Food is average. Not bad, just OK. My pupusa revuelta could have been better; a bit salty. My hubby's menudo was tasty. Soda was expensive, $4. Service staff was friendly and they seems to check on us enough during our visit except at the end, couldn't get anyone to come to our table to give us the check. Absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The two girls in the front are rude af. Especially the one who claims to be the owners niece. They mess up your order and then talk shit to you for wanting a refund. This isn't the first time these girls have been absolute bitches. I went looking for fantastic restaurants on this long trip and ran across Pancho's. There was plenty of parking and upon entering I was immediately cheerily greeted. I went outside to an enclosed patio where I sat beneath a large umbrella and a round metal table. It was quite comfortable and the tables were spread out to be COVID compliant. My waitress was wonderful. She was warm and informative. I ordered a mango margarita with a tajin rim and the cojutepeque entree. Cojutepeque consisted of chorizo, red beans and rice, avocado, and sour cream. There's no description I can write to make you understand how magical this entree was despite sounding so simple. The chorizo had a crisp casing and seasoned soft meat inside. It spilled out when the casing was cut. The red beans and rice was not a typical red beans and rice. It was nothing like I have ever eaten - flavorful, solid mouth feel, seasoned amazingly, almost meaty tasting. It was just amazing. And putting the avocado and the rice and beans together it was a sensational delight on my tongue. It was absolutely grand. The mango margarita was delightful too. A little sweet but it was very good. I had a couple. The price point was very good. For the amount of delicious high quality food I was very pleased. It was delicious. read more

The food is ok but this place uses some of the cheapest drink products. I've had to send my drinks back several times. The apple juice tastes like apple cider from the dollar store, the orange juice also tastes like its from the dollar store, the coffee also tastes cheap and bitter, the ensalada de fruta drink has a diet aftertaste like sweet n low. We went yesterday again, and the service was horrible. We sat for 15 minutes without menus or any acknowledgment, even after we walked by the register and they told us to sit wherever we wanted. I called in another order of their Caldo De Res soup (2nd time) It is absolutely delicious and needed as I am getting over a bad cold. It features pork shoulder, a few carrot chunks, potatoes, zucchini and cabbage. Tasty and filling. I think it's a little overpriced for the container size. I paid 12.99 and although there was a nice amount of meat, it lacked enough of the other ingredients for two servings. (Ie there was only like one small 1/2 of corn on the cob, one chunk of carrot and 2 chunks of zucchini). I also tried two of their hard shell tacos one chicken and one beef oh my gosh... it's Taco Tuesday and they were so good that I didn't get a picture, I just ate them up;-) The gentleman on the phone who took my order was a rude smart Alec and told me to give him 30min. My wife and I visited Panchos on a Friday afternoon after it was recommended by some friends. We were sadly disappointed immediately and should have gone to McDonald's instead. We sat down and had to flag down a server to get menus. We then had our order taken and the service of food was slow. There were 10 flies buzzing around the window which indicates the place is probably not clean. The taquitos de res tasted like they were fried in old oil. We ordered a side of rice and it tasted bland. I was amazed they charge $4 for a side of crappy rice. The fast food taco joints serve better food that this place. They definitely need to clean up the place, kill the flies and change the oil in their fryer. Taquitos are hard to screw up but Panchos found a great way to do so. I understand that if using a credit card, they add 3% processing fee. Yet, twice I paid with cash, and they added an Operations Fee. I was given the difference back, and the person stated this is only happening to you. REALLY! I wish they would just increase the menu prices instead. Unfortunately, this didn't live up to my expectations. The food was good and most of the servers were friendly hence the two stars but I didn't get what I ordered and there was no attempt to rectify it. I ordered a classic meat burrito. It was supposed to come with rice and cilantro according to the menu. Instead I got a burrito with only meat and beans. When I asked about it not having rice, the waitress said it didn't come with rice. I asked if she was sure because I almost always order burritos with rice and check for that. She said it did not come with rice and offered to bring a side of rice. I was charged for the side of rice and when I double checked the menu on my way out, it definitely did say the classic meat burrito came with rice. My review of Pancho's servers very friendly inviting everyone that came close spoke. The one to help me told me about the best dishes to try and some options as for my next visits. The environment was clean good smells of authentic Mexican cuisine. Decorated in authentic Mexican decor. My thoughts on my Pancho's burrito( no cilantro, guacamole and no beans), and chicken and pork tamales. Burrito is hugh it's good, tasty but dry need salsa or something wet, but baby take my word do not waste money on the tamales they are very disappointing not worth your money, they put potatoes, green beans and other vegetables to stuff the tamales and it was a string of meat too much MASA and it was too wet moist...But I'm totally disappointed they don't give chips and salsa with orders.. but overall I'll go back and try something different... tamales 1 out 10, burrito 7.5 out of 10... read more
