I got a asada Burrito and Asada Fries and both were delicious. Took it togo and most places wont give you anything but the young gal at the front hooked it up with the hot sauces and their salsa all very good. Birria ramen was delicious. Full of meat and noodles. The consommé had a nice flavor not that watered down stuff. They gave us the onions cilantro and lemon on the side. Oh and this is the 1st time I was given shredded cheese on the side. Tried a little of it in my ramen and no bad. The young lady at the register was very friendly upbeat and talkative. It's hard to find a good authentic michelada but I got to tell you, their micheladas are to die for! I always order one when I come here and I even dream about them and crave them from time to time. Eh. I came for birria because the other place I like to go to was closed. The birria was...eh. My son really liked his carne asada quesadilla and the size was huge. Our street tacos were alright but pretty standard fare. Nothing really stood out that screamed "come back and eat here again" but this is a pretty crowded area of Mexican cuisine. Super odd yet fascinating that there weren't bathrooms but a hand sink in the main dining area to wash hands at. 3 out of 5. Actually, food is maybe 2.5 stars. Service was super friendly so boosted their score by half a star. It's off the touristy beaten path and mostly for locals but we wanted to try it based on the high ratings. Conclusion: not worth the drive for most people driving through Victorville on their way to or from LA/Vegas. The asada meat was good but their chips were stale from a bag which sort of ruined the whole nachos plate. It was plentiful and I just pictured a huge industrial bag of stale chips from Sysco sitting in the back. Cheese enchiladas were tasty but everything else was just meh. Save the drive and just stick with the usual fast food suspects in Victorville. read more

The tacos are pretty yummy. The pastor ones may have a bit too much seasoning for some people, but I liked them. The Birria tacos with cheese is really yummy. My buddy likes the carnitas and the asada is ok. We came back a second time and got a wet burrito. They were out of red salsa so we opted for the green. They were willing to go half and half (green and red), which might be a good idea. The wet burrito is loaded with meat and hits the spot, and definitely worth it for the price. The establishment is low key, nothing super crazy. There are a couple 6 person tables and a handful of couple tables. It's definitely worth a try if you're in the area! read more
