Bro...This place is legit! I live around the corner & was craving Salvadoran food because that's what we ate at home growing up since we're Salvadoran. Upon entering I was greeted by the young guy working behind the counter. He is so patient & kind and broke down for me what they offer in their menu. The cuisine at this restaurant is Guatemalan, Salvadoran, & they even have 'salchichas Argentinas,' which looks so good. The guy explained that they just have a month at this Azusa location & are coming from the San Fernando Valley. I ordered the 'carne asada plate.' The food tastes so, so, so homemade. It seriously tastes like a tío or tía made it for you. It's sooo good & authentic. Also, they made my food really fast. I definitely recommend coming to this restaurant! I found a gem so close to home that I'm so excited about. I usually order through DoorDash and it is always fresh, warm and tasty. Big portions and made to perfection every time. I have never had a restaurant call me to ask how I want my eggs cooked or if they are out of something what would I like to replace it with. I love their service and attention to detail and the way they honor of their way to make sure that the customer gets everything done correctly. Excellent service, and phenomenal quality. For a small business I support them and I will continue to order from them. So far I tried the pupusas., atol de elote, rellenitos, sopa de res and the carne asada , let me tell they do not disappoint. I have been coming to this place for a while putting up with the waiter attitude is horrible but food is ok today my daughter order chicken tacos flowing in oil she couldn't eat we Told him l. I was happy it didn't have an oily taste to it. Everything was delicious and very filling. Service: The person who took our order was extremely nice and helpful. The establishment is quaint. Seems to be very clean. And the prices are very reasonable. Things I'd like to point out: they took very long to get our food and also our check. So expect to spend some time in this restaurant. I have been wanting to try this place since I saw that it was opening. So today I finally decided to go. I ordered the Pan con pollo, 10/10 the plate was so good. It was creamy full of flavors. It was it was a bit messy but definitely worth trying. I also ordered tamales, and they were good full of flavor and to drink. Lately I've been coming in at least once or twice a week to come and get pupusas. Coming back from El Salvador to having the pupusas here is almost the same so that's why I come so often. I only speak English and am practicing my Spanish and appreciate the people who work here are polite and patient when I try to order my food in Spanish and means a lot. The ambience inside is really nice and they always be playing some crazy funny movies while I wait for my food to go because I feel embarrassed I don't know Spanish that well. Other than that the food is always amazing and appreciate them always being so patient when I attempt to speak Spanish when ordering my food. read more

I was delighted when I heard there would be a Guatemalan/ Salvadorean restaurant by my in laws home. I went and had their breakfast!! It honestly brought back memories of my childhood. The food was very tasty and even served fresh Guatemalan tortillas. The staff are very polite and have great customer service skills. I've gone back a few times because we loved it. The only constructive criticism I'd give is the fact that I don't like my beans as watery, but the flavor was amazing nonetheless. Highly recommend read more

We were hungry so decided to try out El Espino while the car was charging while walking in, I expected there to be a posted menu. There was not haha. There is plenty of seating, which is nice if you don't want to sit in your car waiting for your Tesla to charge. The nice lady gave us a menu and we ended up being basic haha. Ordered Pupusas de Queso, Pupusas de Queso y Frijol and Platanos Fritos Solos. Everything we ordered was freshly made. It was very good! So good that I didn't even have the chance to take a picture of it haha. When in the area, or when you're here charging your Tesla, go in and support this local restaurant!

While the restaurant's space is somewhat intimate, their warm hospitality more than makes up for it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a truly family-like atmosphere that added to the charm of the place. It was clear that a great deal of care and attention goes into everything they do. I sampled a variety of their pupusas - revueltas, bean and cheese, and queso con loroco - and each one was bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and expertly combined. The curtido, a perfectly fermented cabbage slaw, was particularly noteworthy; its tangy, slightly sweet profile provided the ideal counterpoint to the richness of the pupusas. I found the salsa to be a bit different from what I typically expect with pupusas; it had a unique flavor profile, though perhaps not to everyone's taste. However, this didn't detract from the overall positive experience. Overall, Casa Café offers a fantastically delicious and authentic pupusa experience. I highly recommend them and look forward to returning soon. read more

I had such a wonderful experience here today! Our waitress was absolutely amazing so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and her friendly personality made the whole visit even better. You could really tell she enjoys what she does, and it made a huge difference. The food was also delicious everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. On top of that, the entire staff was fantastic! Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and worked together so smoothly. The great service and positive atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, an incredible experience from start to finish I'll definitely be coming back! read more
