My husband found this place looking for something to eat. LOL We're always on the search for Asian food, and he loves buffets. I always have a hard time with Chinese food because I'm from Hawaii and so that's what I'm comparing it to. He suggested we go here. The serve lunch and dinner buffet, and they also allow you to buy to go. This is paid by the pound. The food is ok, the standard Chinese food. Beef broccoli, chicken and mushroom, sweet & sour chicken, pork loin, fried rice, steamed rice, soup, etc. So essentially the standard stuff. The food is usually hot, and they turn over the food pretty quickly, so it's usually fresh. I've never had any problems with the menu. The restaurant itself is pretty sizable, so there are booths as well as tables to sit at. The hostess is friendly and remembers your face when you come in. (That's a big deal to me) When we went in my younger son wasn't with us, and she noticed and asked after him. So, it means she pays attention! They do offer soda, but I can't remember if it's included with the cost for the buffet. They do have an adult price, and a child's price. We don't go there a ton, but the customer service is always great. They ensure your drinks are filled and they clear your dirty plates pretty quick as well. So, check it out. I think it's better than the Chinese place that's in Stillwater! No I'm not talking about Golden Dragon, or the place that's in the old red lobster. read more

We recently visited Panda Express, and it was our first time there. We were seriously impressed! The all-you-can-eat buffet was fully stocked, and everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh. The food was hot, flavorful, and constantly being refilled, so nothing sat out too long. There was a great variety to choose from, and every dish had bold flavor and was cooked just right. It's hard to find a buffet where the quality matches the quantity, but this place definitely delivered. For our first visit, it exceeded expectations in every way. I gave it 4 Star only because my husband loves the place. I personally did not like the taste of the food but with that being said, everyone has different taste so I will not say it's a bad place , I might have gave it 5 stars if it had been cleaner inside. I really wanted to like this place with all of the good reviews. I was looking for a buffet, and this seemed to have the best reviews within an hours' drive. The food came out hot and fresh and the service was friendly. But the ceiling was absolutely filthy. There was dirt of all kinds on the ceiling and even hanging from the ceiling. But the absolute worst was that there was a roach on the rice cooker. I told an employee and she just wiped it off with her gloved hand. I didn't see her change her gloves. I also think I saw a roach carcass shell inside the plastic layer outside of the rice cooker. This was the worst buffet experience I've ever had. read more

Rude, unwelcoming young lady that was not very happy in helping my wife and I finding a seat. Sits us down with a long face. Restaurant was not very clean. And, the food just frankly was not very tasty, it was salty and some of the food was just overcooked. The food is not good at all. She never came back to the table to check back with us. I will never go back to this restaurant. And, the pricing for Sundays is confusing, it shows two prices. For the price we paid for inferior food it was definitely NOT worth it all! read more

The service here is very friendly and the food is very good. I was concerned as we pulled up to the building but noted what others had said about the outside not stopping you from going in. We stopped for the buffet after seeing their sign on the exit sign along the highway. The property is pretty rundown but the restaurant was comfortable and the food was decent and fairly priced. The have great price by the pound on carryout buffet too. It's not a huge buffet, but they have a good selection of the dishes you'd expect and a few surprises. I enjoyed the pork loin and the roast chicken the most, but there were several runners up. read more

Excellent selection of choices from which one can choose a quick, reasonably priced Chinese meal. We did take-out, our food was weighed and we were billed accordingly: $14.x x, including tax, for two older guys, one who eats a reasonable amount and another who overeats. Seems reasonable in price. I have no idea about sit-down meal pricing. We were there at high noon and there were lots of male customers, saw one woman with a carry-out bag as we were entering. I'd say the locals enjoy having lunch there--we were drop-ins off the interstate who had been referred to this restaurant. read more

Chose Panda from Yelp reviews because we were trying to eat somewhere along I-35 between Wichita & OKC and I'm not a huge fan of fast food chainy type stuff. Everything we tried was fresh & flavorful. Easily one of the best Chinese Buffets that I've been too. And since it's in a non assuming building a mile or so into Perry, OK, it earns that extra star. If you're hungry on I-35 in the food desert between Wichita and OKC, this place is definitely worth your short detour into town. I really like the Chinese buffet option when traveling and have a lot of experience with the genre. There is a lot of variation. This is definitely one of the better ones, despite its unpromising location. Some caveats: it really looks unappealing on the outside - ignore that. Also, this is not diet food, they don't skimp on the grease. And the deep fried stuff and the sticky sweet stuff (sesame chicken etc.) is ho-hum. That all said, there is a lot to be said in favor of this place. The various meats and stir fries were very well executed. Rich flavors without being overpowering, every dish a bit different. The vegetables (remember vegetables from when you weren;t on the highway) were especially nicely handled, with the (commonly dire) shrimp and vegetable in white sauce a real standout. It's odd, really, that there's a Chinese restaurant in every town, and probably in cases like Perry OK, not such a great thing for the family that ends up running it. But it's a real relief for those of us who are passing through and dreading yet another Sonic burger. read more

I discovered this place by accident a couple of years ago. I make half a dozen trips from Wichita to OKC a year. This trip worked out to stop for lunch again. So what if it's a mile off of I-35. This place has gone down hill since my last review. Someone else has taken over and food quality has gotten worse. Food is left out longer and not as fresh as it once was. Food items take longer to get replaced when empty and I think the prices have gone up. Staff is nowhere near as friendly as the old staff was. I miss the people who originally opened it. read more
