I was in town for a work event, and I went here with some colleagues, and we tried it for the first time. I enjoyed that the appetizers were very different and unique and things I never had before. The chips with the two dips were super yummy and very different in flavor Profile. Then the loaded fries with miso were amazing and an outstanding option. We also enjoyed edamame for a starter. Then we each ordered entrées, one person ordered sushi and the presentation alone just blew us away. The boat of sushi came out with dry ice and it was so cool. And then my meal as well as the other person's meal were crazy, large portions and just really good quality food. I will say my chicken Katsu had a little too much sauce and it was not the traditional sauce sauce, but still really good. The staff were also super friendly and when they heard it was our first time and were so helpful in suggesting different things and checking on us even the hostess wanted to know how experience was. It was decorated in a different and fun way. I can see why it's so highly recommended.

Legit Asian Pacific Rim cuisine under all one roof at Miso. I was in Stillwater for business and dined at Miso for four straight dinner evenings and Miso did not disappoint. Service is excellent and the ambiance is welcoming. I also met the owner and shared my fabulous experience there. Grateful for this gem. Highly recommended!

My first time here. The food tastes good but slightly too saucy for me. I got Naruto and Moana, they put it on a boat with dry ice, that was pretty cool effect. Service is very fast. I love the decorations, they have outdoors patio area, which is very nice. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Price: 10/10 Ambience: 10/10

Buttery garlic Brussels sprouts. Just ok

Went here with my niece after visiting her at College. She recommended and so glad she did. The place was busy but the service was top notch. We ordered 3 roles, side salad, buttery Brussels sprouts and beef fried rice. They actually bring the rice on a steaming hot plate then pour soy sauce in it and mix it all up and finish at the table. It was a great presentation. That was followed by the super fun smoking sushi roll boat. Coolest thing I have ever seen in a restaurant (except for Gordon Ramsay's). The side salad was bigger than I was expecting and only $5.00. The buttery garlic sprouts were ok but I think we are all now used to the fried sprouts that are crunchy and tender. These weren't that. Overall this is a modern and progressive place with ideas to help them stand out. This place is a gem. Go check em' out!

We really enjoyed our meal at Miso. The vibe is casual with nicely done decor throughout the restaurant. On our previous visit, we all had entrees, but on this visit we ordered sushi. Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, without being intrusive. She recommended the crab cigars which were a nice twist on a crab Rangoon. We each ordered a couple of rolls. The dragon roll was so fun! It is served with a saki bottle of dry ice. We finished off the meal with a slice of cheesecake.

Service was very good. Food was amazing. My only problem is there isn't enough parking.

    Many rolls ^^

I can't speak for the other items on their menu, but Miso's roll game is STRONG. We've tried most of their rolls and they are packed full of flavor. This place is more fusion rather than traditional Japanese, with the creamy and spicy options. I love the fun textures and flavors. The most refreshing roll is the Naruto, which is wrapped in cucumber and has no rice, and the Grizzly roll has a little surf and turf action. Viva Las Vegas and The Last Dragon are top notch combinations as well. Highly recommend!

Cool place. Loved the interior. Outside seating is available as well. Lots of hosts/hostesses meant that we were seated very quickly. We tried the pan seared gyoza, two rolls, and the salmon entrée. All entrées come with rice and two sides so we ordered fried potatoes and and egg rolls. The fried potatoes were an odd choice but really delicious. The gyoza was good and my roll, Wonder Woman was really very tasty. I would order it again. But, I would also order one of the entrées like the chicken katsu because it's really a good value. Definitely will be back.

Service was great, Ambiance was inviting with a beautiful mural, food was great. Hubby ordered the satay chicken with rice and two sides, and I ordered thel Yaki noodles with bulgogi beef. Very tasty. I even shared some with my husband and said he liked what I ordered. His food, Satay chicken, was ok. He said that the chicken breast was a little dry and the satay sauce was bland. Other than that, our experience was good enough to want to come back and try it again.

    5. Korean Spicy Ramen
    Nikki L.

Food review is based on ramen only! Neither the spicy miso or Korean ramen was flavorful. I asked for katsu chicken instead and was told it'd be the 9.00 add on which is fine but still was charged 14 for noodles and broth which is the cost with protein. The service was good place was clean very neat ambiance and set up. Wouldn't eat here again for ramen. But if you haven't tried devoted and local you're missing out.

Service was great. She did an excellent job of keeping up with the drinks and getting orders in. Decor is nice and it was inviting. You don't really care about you want to know was the food good. Well it just wasn't good it was really first rate and great. Would we go back. Yes most definitely we will be back. Over all this was worth the money and the time. I do suggest getting the Smurf of Fire before you order because as a dessert it had a punch and then the Smurf punched back.

They have outdoor seating available, but we decided to sit inside where everything was neat, tidy, and running like a well-oiled machine. The staff throughout the restaurant were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, our first table felt like it was sitting directly under the Arctic Circle, so we politely asked to be moved. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem. Once relocated, we landed in Ms. Jemara's section. Ms. Jemara was a sweet young lady with a warm smile, a friendly personality, and excellent customer service. She was attentive, welcoming, and checked on us throughout our meal without hovering. For drinks, my sister ordered a Coke while I went with a glass of water and an Orion beer. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicken Karaage and a side of Gyoza. For my main course, I chose the Vegan Miso Butter Corn Ramen and added a Nitamago egg. The Chicken Karaage was nice and crispy and made for a good starter. The Gyoza was enjoyable as well. As for the ramen, it was decent--certainly not the best I've ever had, but far from the worst. What surprised me was learning that the owners are from Okinawa, Japan. I was expecting a broth packed with rich, bold flavor, but this vegan broth came across a little milder than I anticipated. To be fair, this was my first time trying a vegan ramen broth, so that may have played a role. Since I don't eat pork, I've sampled quite a few different styles of ramen over the years, and while this bowl was good, I've personally had more flavorful versions elsewhere. Even so, the restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and Ms. Jemara helped make the experience an enjoyable one.

The hanging wish cards, the wood accents, the little booth seating areas, even the lighting all work together. It is one of those places where you catch yourself looking around instead of just staring at your phone while you wait for food. Now the important part. The ramen. This was not some sad, watered down airport food court attempt at ramen. The broth was rich without being overwhelming, the noodles had the right bite, and everything in the bowl actually tasted like it belonged there. The pork was tender, the egg was perfect, and yes, I am now the kind of person who notices if an egg is done right. Even the little details were on point. Clean presentation, good portion sizes, and everything came out hot and fast without feeling rushed. The drinks were solid too, and I may or may not have been tempted to order a second round just to justify sitting there longer. Service was friendly and efficient, we had a fun time with our server. Nothing worse than great food and a weird vibe. Not the case here. If you are someone who thinks ramen is just instant noodles with better marketing, go here and let that belief die. The ramen was not good or tasty to us, so we didn't order it again this time. My notes for last time was that the ramen was flavorless, and watery. This time, today, we ordered the Honeycomb Platter, Takoyaki, Chicken Wings (KBBQ), Pan-Fried Gyoza, and the Smashed Cucumber. Honeycomb Platter 10/10 - always good. Good flavor variety. My favorite is the shrimp. My girlfriends favorite is also the shrimp. Smashed Cucumber 7/10 - was not smashed like in photo. That's OK. Sliced cucumber with a chili vinaigrette. Fresh but a bit spicy. Takoyaki 5/10 - not the best we've had but we are picky. Good for people who are trying Takoyaki for the first time. Nice filling but lame flavor. Chicken Wings (KBBQ) 5/10 - 6 wings, half flats half drum. Tasty, but wing quality is just OK. Tangy KBBQ flavor. Medium crispness. Pan-Fried Gyoza 8/10 - yummy ! Not crispy on bottom but it was still pretty good. Pork inside is juicy and tender. Very cool presentation. We liked the variety of things we ordered this time, but could've done without the wings and extra Takoyaki, as the honeycomb platter comes with 2 balls. We sat upstairs in the honeycomb booths this time. Felt private enough but the acoustics made me feel like everyone could hear everything. Bright and quiet enough for a midday lunch today.
