I stopped going to this takeout Chinese restaurant a while back, and after two years decided to give it another try...not very good at all. I ordered Chinese cashew chicken, Mongolian, beef, and vegetable lo mein. the only vegetable in the lo mein was little pieces of frozen broccoli florettes. All three dishes had the same exact "brown sauce" on top and I could not distinguish any particular flavor with any of the dishes. Soooooo disappointing. read more

The place was clean and looks like new ownership. I can appreciate the health score being 100. Friendly staff but my only issue is the portion size of the lunch option. I ordered shrimp w. Broccoli and the portion was disappointing for the price. I don't mind the price if I receive more food and vice versa. Food overall tastes good. read more

So today I was in the mood for sweet and sour shrimp and decided to order take out from this place. Mann I really had high hopes for this spot but it really disappointed me . The rice was not seasoned at all and it only came with onions carrots and peas. (Probably frozen) and the shrimp was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy over done. It's a roll of the dice when ordering delivery. 3/2021 I ordered delivery through Grub Hub. Got a message that order has been delayed 20-30 minutes. Yelp App crashed and would not give updates.I realized I needed to feed feral cats. No need to, cats were having sweet and sour chicken. Delivery driver didn't bother to call,text or ring doorbell. I also ordered broccoli with garlic sauce and it came in its own container with the rice in a separate container. The food is good and I intend to go back for more. For me, the food is delicious and is some of the best Chinese food I've had in this Area. Always come back at least once a week. My favorite dishes is Sesame Chicken - it's sweet and juicy. I also love the Crab Rangoons, which are made fresh and perfectly crispy. They have great Lunch Special and Dinner combination, relatively speedy service, and also very reasonably- priced. I found sharp small chicken bone while eating my fried rice. I ordered brocolli beef with fried rice. I am glad i happened to look what was on my food, if i swallow that sharp thing, i could choke and die. I can only eat Chinese once every other month and that's because it's something the other half will suggest often. This was the last Chinese place we ordered from somethings got me dreaming of their egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Not sure what sorta crack they add to them but they sure beat all the rest I have tried in GA from Buckhead to Norcross to Duluth and to Lawrenceville. Discovered this gem nearby. Wow!.. Didn't expect such quality- the food is amazing, way better than the Chinese mall food that has a plastic taste to it. The veggie roll, Mongolian beef and Shrimp plate are amazing and the Lemonade is soo delicious -my favorite drink now. I have to say they got it right with the spices and quality. I just placed and order for $44.00. The food left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and my daughter is nauseous. I ordered rib tips and they were not fresh, they tasted stale and old. I put them in the trash. I ordered tofu and garlic sauce and my daughter felt nauseated after eating them. The pork chop suey had very few pieces and served sloppy in styrofoam box. I typically expect the dish to be served in a better container. The only part of the order that was ok was the hot wings, even the teriyaki wings were not right. I was not going to leave this extension review but after I called the restaurant to let them know the ribs were not fresh, I was not asking for a refund or to change my order. I just wanted to let the owner know the ribs were not fresh the first words out of his mouth is "I don't believe you". I will never order from them again and will not recommend them. I can't believe I've lived in Bethesda this whole time just 3 miles away from this place and I only now found it after years of driving past it. It's really an incredible little local restaurant, and the owner takes pride in his work. Any dish is made expertly and with much more care than you'd get at a mall Chinese restaurant. I did not eat here. Their customer service was horrible! I was waiting for my car to be looked at across the street at Pep Boys and figured I would try them out. They had advertised on the window a New York Style lunch special. When I asked what the special included, I was rudely told to read the menu. I looked for the information on the menu to no avail, so I asked if he could show me on the menu where it was or just simply tell me what the special included. He rudely told me again to read the menu. I wanted to curse him out, however I just turned and left. They clearly did not want my business for whatever reason. I suppose they have enough.
