What made the situation even more upsetting was that the server did not seem concerned or show much care about the seriousness of what had happened. Food allergies are not simply a preference or something that should be taken lightly--they can be a serious health and safety issue. What is especially disappointing is that I frequently visit another Pappadeaux location and have always had a much better experience. That location follows proper procedures when I inform the staff about my allergy, which shows that accommodating and protecting guests with food allergies can be done. I hope management takes this situation seriously and provides additional training regarding food allergies, communication with the kitchen, and how staff should respond when a guest has an allergic reaction. I enjoy this restaurant chain, but this experience was unacceptable and made me feel that my safety and concerns were not taken seriously.

I did tried to place the order over the phone to avoid the $7.50 online platform fee (unavoidable even if it's through their website or app), but they said that I had to order it online because it was my first time. I've also ordered it 3 hours in advance for pickup, but when we got there, we still had to wait another 15+ minutes or so. I prefer to have it waiting for me to just pick up and go as I was on a time crunch. That's why I set it up at a certain time. Overall, I had recommended this place to all my family and friends. I can't wait to order from them again sooner than later being that it's crawfish season.

My family and i went there for the first time last month, we order Wings, shrimp fried rice, chicken broccoli, sesame chicken and boneless ribs. OMG everything was exetrmly tasteful, it was cook the right way. Even my picky child enjoyed it very much, we have been going there once a week now. Never disappointed with the food and service.
