This Panda Express location sucks. They close at 10:30 but if you come at 10pm good luck. They are out of most of their food options for entrees. I asked if I could get an order of rangoons and they said no. I understand they can't do entrees but if they can't fry an order of rangoons while they are still open I feel that's just lazy. Does that mean they fry a lot of them at once and leave them sitting for hours and they ran out? This location is awful very lazy staff that just wants to go home. This location has a drive thru, so I went for a quick stop in. There are not many vegetarian options and I wish they would expand that as I could see returning if they expanded the menu. Had takeout here this evening at about 5:20 PM. Third time I've eaten here. Food is pretty tasteless and basically tastes all the same, no matter what you order. Freshness is good but the portions are pretty small, especially for $11.95 for two main items and a side. Service is pretty non-existent. This time, no one said hello, or, "We will be with you in a moment". I just stood there waiting. No one even smiled, out of about 5 employees. No one smiled at the last two visits. It actually looked like nobody was enjoying their work (ever been to an In-N-Out Burger?). I took my receipt out of the machine as the gentleman wasn't going to give it to me. Aside from getting our order wrong half the time (I've been here at least 10 times) they forget the sauce about 8 out of 10 times and I'm writing this review because I went and ordered, when it came time to pay I gave them a gift card and also gave them my credit card for the rest which would have been just the tax at about a dollar and some change. But they just took both cards, then gave them back only charging my credit card, even though I specifically told them "use the gift card first" and even if they didn't hear me, you'd figure they would use the gift card instead right? But no just charged my credit card and didn't bother with the gift card. Bad service, cold food. I waited in the drive through line for a long time and it didn't move. I went inside to a unhappy female employee. I asked for Black Pepper Chicken and teriyaki chicken. The server argued over the amount of Black pepper chicken. There was not enough chicken to make 2 plates. She scrapped up scraps to make a second plate / bowl. And on my other bowl was teriyaki chicken. I asked to have them pour teriyaki sauce on my teriyaki chicken. They said "we don't do that here " they gave me a small package of cold teriyaki sauce. Just what I want cold teriyaki sauce on my warm teriyaki chicken. I asked for a second package and they wanted an additional charge. After I complained I finally received one more package. The food is all that matters. First, let us remember that this is western U.S. style Chinese food, not very close to the authentic thing if you're from San Francisco, Seattle,or NY. 1. All three of my items tasted like petroleum by-products due to the styrofoam containers which are banned in many areas of the country. At the least they could line the containers with paper. 2. Kung Pao Chicken. Not too bad, give it 3.5 on scale of 5. Wasn't fresh. 3. Chow Mein. It was stale and leftover...that's why they added so much onion ruining the softer taste of the -re-cooked noodles. A grade of 1 on the 5 scale. 4. Angus Pepper Steak. Two bits/bites of meat, and that was it. A wasted pick. another 1 on the 5 scale. 5. Orange Chicken. Trust me Panda Express didn't invent this entry. First had it in 1969 where it had been a mainstay since the 1930's. A grade of 2.5 on the 5 scale. Doubtful I will eat there again as there are many better choices within 15 minute drive. read more

Very bad customer service. We ordered online, when they delivered it, we were missing part of the order. I called them and was told that they could not deliver it as it was a third-party delivery service. I asked them just to make the part of the order that was missing and call the service and have them bring it out, I was told I would have to come in and get it or the next time we ordered they would include it with the new order. I told them to refund the full amount of the order as I was not going to pay for an incomplete order. Then I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was too busy. This is a brand new Panda Express off of old West highway in Apache Junction. So far, the store is clean and new. For our first attempt here, we just ran through the drive-thru. We could actually hear the person through the intercom, and they took our order seamlessly. At the window, we decided to add on some crab rangoon. The gal at the window later told us that she forgot to charge us for them, but I think that she gave them to Mr. P for free because he is so strapping! The food was good, fresh and hot. We had a Panda bowl of brown rice and orange chicken, and a Panda bowl of fried rice with honey walnut chicken. While this fair is not the best for you, it sure did taste good! This place is hit or miss. Several times my food has been cold when I've gotten it. This last time though I got the entirely wrong item. Used the drive through and my mom and I each ordered honey sesame chicken. When we got home and took our first bite, we almost went through the roof it was so darn spicy. They gave us kung pao chicken and not our honest sesame chicken. Spicy foods hurt my stomach so I avoid them at all costs, so in the trash mine went as we were also not provided a receipt. They seem to not pay much attention when doing orders. I don't come here often but luckily I have more food experiences than bad. read more

The last time I was here, my dish was so gross because the sauce had congealed from sitting too long. I tossed it into the garbage, it was inedible. The noodles and rice are never fresh, either.
