(it was supposed to be delivered in 45 minutes to begin with) the app tells us to contact our local store. we both tried to call the store 3 or 4 times and no one ever answered. that is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. on top of that, there's no way to contact anyone through the app! this store is also always dirty, the tables look like they've never been cleaned, the floor is trashed. the trash cans are usually so full that it's literally overflowing onto the floor. and good luck on them having the line stocked for all the food options, usually you have to wait 15-20 minutes for your favorite items. this place needs a serious overhaul of employees & management. read more

Great Idea. The lobby is open and the drive thru have line a mile freaking long. The Pokemon Generation can only take your order online for you to get a take-out. Since all they do is text all day and have no people skills. This wasn't the case for me when I went, I decided try the crab Rangoon and I was pretty excited.. but when I got home and opened my bag they were missing. The last time not only was it overly cooked, but main dish sparsely served as it has been on occasion. I don't want to see my bed of rice when I order a bowl. First of all Chinese fast food: No! I went to a Panda Express once, over 10 years ago. Daughter wanted orange chicken w/ steamed rice from Panda Express. Told her I could order from our favorite restaurant or make it at home instead. She said she likes Panda Express & was very hungry & we had a ways to go before arriving home. Went through drive-thru. I asked the girl what she would recommend for gluten-free (for me). She claimed they don't have gluten-free. (Work with me here, there's at least ONE item: rice). Asked my daughter if she still wanted the orange chicken. She said yes. We were driving toward home when she took the first bite and spat it out. She said the rice was "crunchy & stale." We went back and I had to go inside. About 7 or so teenagers walking around, eyes glazed like orange chicken. Had to wait for one of them to finally come up to the front register. She looked surprised that there was a human being in front of her. I explained about the rice. She just stared at me some more. I asked if I could have it remade with, you know, FRESH RICE. Another girl walked up nearby and she leaned over to talk to her. The other girl asked if I wanted it instead with lo mein or fried rice. I said no. She wanted steamed rice. Why can't we get steamed rice? She asked the question again and & I answered the same. I asked if they don't have fresher steamed rice. At that point both girls walked over to the corner where they have the rice, 2 other employees joined them and they all stared at the rice, one reaching in and moving the rice or something. The girl came back & asked again about the lo mein or fried rice. I asked for the manager. I got blank stares. I repeated myself. The girl walked toward the back and then I saw her in what used to be the dining area at a table talking to a male employee whom I assumed was the manager since I asked to speak to a manager. They talked and talked ... and talked. I asked the other girl why I couldn't get fresh steamed rice. The girl walked back behind the counter but not to me. I said I would like my money back. Got a quick response from her then! She said they don't do refunds! Seriously!!! I explained the food was horrid, not fresh, would like money back. She said they can't do that. I saw the guy she was talking to walk to the back and then he came walking by with a pan of rice. I asked if he were the manager and he said no, there was not a manager on site, he also stated there was not a manager at any of the local Panda Expresses between here and Temple. Hmmm! I also watched as the pan of supposedly fresh rice was poured over what was already in the rice containment thing. Yes! That's right! Poured it over the old rice! I thought that it was fresh rice. More on that in a moment. The guy asked if I would like it remade. Uhhh, yeah. That's what I asked for in the first place. They re-made the bowl. I said this was horrible service & I would be calling their corporate headquarters. Not that bumbling teenagers care, right? Gave my daughter what she order when I returned to the car. I told her NEVER AGAIN will we go there. When I arrived home later, I called corporate HQs and while I was on the phone with them, daughter approached me and said she wasn't feeling good. She also told me then that the "fresh" rice wasn't actually. It tasted stale and that it too was "crunchy. She didn't say anything because she knew I would not be happy. It's not because it wasn't cooked, it's because it was over cooked and ... old. So, what they did was put old overcooked rice on old overcooked rice. And ... who knows how old the chicken was or if it wasn't cooked properly??? So now we're dealing with her upset stomach. They need to fire every single one of those kids so that they will learn from this. I doubt retraining will help! They won't comprehend it as by the clueless look on every single one of their faces! This place should be shut down! And then I read the reviews here on Yelp! Nothing but bad reviews! I say Copperas Cove needs to stop going to this disgusting place and actually patronize real Chinese restaurants that are decent in this town! There's an excellent one in Cove Terrace! Go there instead. You'll also receive excellent service. Panda Express is disgusting--at least the one in Copperas Cove is. Run apparently by teenagers and no leadership on site and the health standards are deplorable if they are pouring old food on top of old food! The young ladies that were working today did as well as they could under terrible circumstances. Their delivery truck did not carry a majority of the supplies they required. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm a regular at panda however have never had a positive experience at the copperas Cove store. I have given them several chances however tonight was my last straw. I placed an online order and requested sweet and sour sauce. On arrival I was informed they didn't have anymore sauce. I did not want the food without the sauce so I requested a refund. Several staff members were visibly frustrated with my request. I ended up leaving the food without a refund. I know it seems small but again this wasn't the first negative experience I've had here. The staff is very rude and seem inconvenienced by any request. The food is subpar compared to other pandas. The store also always looks run down and dirty. Management is failing in this store. Once there we waited for a long time again while people inside talked, looked at their phones, and walked around. Finally took order and let it sit at the window while they continued to talk to each other. After a long wait they came to tell us they were out of egg rolls. After another Long wait, they came back to the window and said they had to wait for the manager to grant access to the registers again.
