The food is usually pretty good, however they seem to always be out of what I want and the wait is 15 minutes or more for it to cook. They also take forever in the drive thru; they tell you to wait a second and about 7 minutes later they are finally ready to take your order... low and behold what you order they are out of! Plus when you do get what you want they always forget something (like the teriyaki sauce). They also can't seem to keep the same amount of food in their bowls and it's either full (which is great) or it's barley halfway full with mostly lettuce and hardly and noodles or meat! I would definitely say choose another restaurant if your in a hurry and if your not just make sure to check your food to make sure it's all there and correct before you leave their parking lot. read more

I will echo the other reviews that this location is consistently out of things. Today we placed IN ADVANCE a large order for a meeting group and when we picked up the order all the brown rice requests had been substituted with white rice because they were out of brown rice. REALLY? I have often experienced a "we are out of that right now" when going through the drive through. Not a good representation of a chain restaurant where customers expect consistency. read more

Service is terrible. Had to wait for my order to be taken, during the order the girl could not remember what I had just told her. Wasn't complex. When handed my drink it had foam from the root beer all over it. Must have overflowed when she filled and just handed it to me dripping. When I asked for a napkin she was highly inconvenienced by the request. My seven minute wait has exceeded its limit. Every time I come here I never get what I ordered. I swear it's like they go out of their way to mess your order up. And if you have to get a receipt be ready to wait for an hour, because they can't find it or their system is conveniently down. Staff's friendliness leaves much to be desired. The chow mein had a lot of celery in it, but it's not always that way. The honey walnut shrimp was not the best, honey chicken is on point, the portion for Shanghai Angus steak is unfair... On 9/21/2019 around 3PM I arrived at the store with a smile to pick up an order that was called in 30 minutes prior. There were no other customers in the store. The clerk said he has the ticket and would get to it in a few minutes but then walked away. After this the staff didn't look at me or speak to me. Over a 20 minute span or greater there were 4 customers that came in about 5 minutes apart and were served promptly as I continued to stand, sit, pace. After the 4th customer got his order I asked the clerk does he have my order ready. He lifted up a receipt from the counter and said "yea, I've got it right here, we'll get to it shortly." At this time I became furious and told them to just cancel my order and I left. I need an answer to why I was treated this way and if this is standard business practice to not honor, respect, or prioritize pick-up orders. read more

COVID has nothing to do with this review. This location is THE WORST Panda Express. Do not waste your time or money here. If they aren't making you wait 15-20 mins for an item then they will mess up your entire order. Last 5 times I've been here I've had to send something back or ask for a full refund and go somewhere else. I had a coupon for my meal and she still charged me full price on my card and had to give me cash back for the difference. Just lack of caring for the customer and making sure to fulfill fresh orders. They literally DO NOT CARE HERE. Absolutely HATE Kilgore location. Terrible management and they NEVER answer their phone. The last 3 times I have been there, in the last 2 weeks I might add, the rice is HORRIBLE. It was under cooked, hard, and evidently when they fixed my togo plate the scraped the bottom and corner sides for my service of rice. I had clumps of hard rice the size of a golf ball, 4 of them! The noodles (i always get half and half) were very dry.. no moister at all. I need to call them, because I can not be the only person experiencing this crappy hard rice! My first time eating at Panda Express. Clean bath room and restaurant is always a good sign. Greeted by young lady at window to order. They were out of what we wanted ( shrimp and steak). Order was placed quickly and came in short order. Food was Correctly seasoned and good flavor. Since this is a first chain Asian inspired restaurant for me to try I was surprised that I enjoyed the food. Will eat here again. read more

Food is usually good but small portions for what you pay at this location. Ordered family meals twice in one week and the first order was surprisingly spectacular! The second order was smaller than the first. No sauces, silverware, or fortune cookies were added even though requested. Also all the box tops were torn and open so food was cold when I got home. When I called in no one answered the phone. I also tweeted but only got we will do better next time. I don't eat out often and this is why! Service was good. Had to wait for mixed vegetables again. Seems to happen every time I order it. Was offered free egg rolls though. When I got home I realized that there was almost no beef in my broccoli beef bowl. One decent sized piece and a few shreds. My boyfriends Kung pow chicken had the same issue. Not happy at all! I get off of work at 8pm and try to pick up food on my way home in the drive thru. On 3 recent visits, there has been an issue with getting the menu items. I was told on the first visit, that they were out of fire chicken. The 2nd time I was greeted and given the limited menu items available to choose from. This 3rd and final time, ever item I tried to order (except orange chicken) was going to be a 5-7 wait. This included fried rice, eggs rolls, fire chicken, and sesame chicken. I talked to the drive thru staff and expressed my disappointment and asked about what has happened recently that menu items were limited. He stated that because Kilgore is a small store, they stop cooking items toward then end of the shift so that there is less food wastage. I appreciate that concept. However, my expectations are this as a customer: I expect the complete menu to be offered during business hours-especially 2 hours prior to closing. I understand that incidents occur on occasion that food may be delayed but the habitual practice of limiting the menu is just poor business. I would prefer to go somewhere where I know I can get what I ordered. I would like to add that I asked if ordering the food online might guarantee the availability of the food I wanted.
