SMH...yes, I know how they communicate. The young disheveled employee met me at the counter with a look on his face like, why are you bothering me. Despite his unprofessional attitude, my order was correctly taken. "That'll be $13.11". Wow I thought. What's going on here? When did a Big Mac and small fries skyrocket to break the $10 mark? For that matter, when did it break the $5 mark?! I admit, I haven't had a Big Mac and fries in a few years. But $13?? Now mind you, this observation is my coming off an earlier vist to In-N-Out. Smiles, great food, and a Double Double, fries, and small drink set me back a mere $11. So why did I take my chances at this McDonald's? Well, I just had a couple of beers and a cigar, and my designated driver was in California.
