I'm giving Panda Express a 3 Star cus there's times where I've gone and my experience is a 5 star and there's times where it's a 2 star. The food is delicious, nice and hot, and seasoned just right also soft and tender. Staff is always a 5 star they're always patient, kind and they don't try to sell you other items. BUT there's times where the food is disgusting, cold and little to no seasoning also super chewy. It depends what time of day you go. So be cautious. read more

This kinda sounds like I'm a Karen pero tbh I don't care, so me n my mom went to this Panda Express And it was pretty late and we were hungry so I got a bigger plate with rice as a main. I'm not sure if the worker got confused but she used my plate to plate my moms food so my mom pointed out how it wasn't hers, and so she moved the broccoli and meat to my moms plate THEN proceeded to drop a broccoli on the dirty counter then put it back onto my moms plate then my mom said "no not like that",then the worker asked her "wait which broccoli was it?" We eat at Panda Express many times a week. This location is ABSOLUTELY the WORST. We will NEVER order from this one again !! Even though we request " EXTRA " teriyaki sauce...( 3rd time ) at this location... Not only do we NOT GET EXTRA... we don't get ANY !! It's 10 miles from home so we called to complain and the automatic system directs us to punch a button to talk with someone at the restaurant & when you do.. they say sorry.. Usually use the drive thru service since the dining area is small in comparison to the amount of traffic this location usually has. On a Sunday at 3:45pm, the drive thru had at lease 8 cars ahead of us and eventually about 5 behind us. So far, 21 minutes in line and still two cars away. This has been my longest wait to date. Pretty disappointing considering they are a "fast-food" joint. The girl who placed our order put us on a brief hold before actually taking our order. Otherwise, she was pretty speedy and took our group order correctly on screen. Waiting still...now 25 minutes in line and 1 car to go... Total wait time 30 minutes in drive thru. Too much if you ask me. Order came in perfect though, even if slightly messy. She forgot our requested chopstix, and packed one of the two sweet and sour cups we asked for, but she apologized and had them for us in under a minute. Overall, they did the best they could considering the restaurant and drive thru was packed. Owners should consider hiring more staff or make sure they are well staffed, especially on weekends. read more

Do not use the app, they do not care for it, no matter how early you order, they prepare your food until it shows in their system. I was to pick up my good at 5:30 yesterday and when they saw me they barely started preparing it. Also do not walk to the door to pick up your food, they PRIORITIZE THE DRIVE THROUGH over anything else!!! I order before 5, showed up at 5:30 to the door thinking of beating the line at the drive thru and I had to wait almost 20 min to get my food... While the cars would go in and out constantly. I stopped by over here around 6pm before my MMA class. I waited inside in line for my order and it took a while to order since there was only 1 person serving about 5 people in line. When it was finally my turn to order, I ordered the steamed white rice. Turns out after waiting they did not have any white rice and told me they won't have any out until about 20 minutes. I ended up leaving without an order so that way I can come back after the MMA class and order my food with white rice. I come back at approximately 8:40pm to order white rice with my food. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they did not give me napkins. It was pretty good. My kids liked the orange chicken, although after eating for a while they thought it got too spicy. The few bites I tried were good but I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food with that much batter and sauce on it. I had beef and broccoli, which was bland and my least favorite version I have ever had of it. The teryiaki chicken was good, I got the sauce on the side and the sauce was tasty and good on my rice as well. Some parts of the chicken were a little darker meat than I like, but at least it was tender. I liked that it was a nice atmosphere for fast food and clean inside. They barely had any food which is weird since they still have 2 1/2 until they close. I asked the cashier how long the wait for the rangoons were & she said they didn't have any. Def would not recommend. 4/5 times they will not have Teriyaki grilled chicken ready. Happens every time. You wait in line for 10mins just to get to the window and be asked to wait another 15mins. If it's such a popular choice, why not have a sufficient amount ready at all times? Why wait for it to run out to get some more on the grill? Everything I ordered was great until I opened up my daughter's kid's meal. She got the string bean chicken and there's hardly anything in there to begin with but there's one piece of chicken surrounded my super crunchy string beans. Her mixed vegetables are really hard as well. Every Panda Express I've been to always steams them really well but these are basically uncooked vegetables. Good food. Good price, always consistent in quality. Whenever you are craving Chinese food, this is the place to go. You can get noodles or rice and many entrees for every taste, they have the classics like beef and broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, Teriaky Chicken, Sweet and Sour, and more. You can always sample anything they serve so you can decide. That's a good thing since that's how I made Beijing Beef one of my favorite things to order there. This is also a place where you can eat something light, for example, you can get a bowl with steamed vegetables and Teriaky Grilled Chicken. The staff is always a bit slow to serve, while there is something about staff not appearing so rushed they are just dumping food on your plate, there is the other extreme when they are moving so slowly it takes forever. This is important here because there are always people waiting in line. So, expediency is key. One thing you don't find here when it comes to serving your plate. read more

The worker that took my order in the drive thru was very polite, but the workers inside had messed up my order. I ordered a plate with white rice, teriyaki chicken, and mushroom chicken and asked if I could get the sauce on the side; as well as a bowl with chow mein and sweetfire chicken breast. Opened the plate, and only saw mushroom chicken and white rice. Opened the other take out container to see only sweetfire chicken and chow mein. Called to let them know that they had messed up my order and see if I could get a comp or a refund if I came back and manager picked up the phone and didn't seem to give one rip that they had messed up and over charged me. Not bad for a chain--actually, it's better than most of the locally owned Asian restaurants. No problems with either food or service. I noticed that a previous reviewer complained about "fatty chicken"--authentic Asian cuisine normally uses chicken thighs rather than chicken breasts (that's an American adaptation). Excess fat should always be removed regardless. Not saying that Panda Express is authentic, LOL, just making an observation. read more

Yikes. Received very poor customer service from the cashier named Tina. Tina refused to accept a coupon that is readily accepted by all other locations. Tina is so involved in giving me a bad attitude that she does not give me my medium drink cup. When I bring this to her attention, she replies "I need to see your receipt". Are you kidding me, Tina, you just cashed me out and have not even started cashing out the next customer. Another Panda team member who had been overhearing the bad attitude that Tina had been giving me, stepped in and gave me my drink cup. Panda would be better served by making sure Tina is reassigned a position that does not involve customer interface. read more

NEVER order online from this place, they don't check the order number. They leave the food on a rack in the corner (a rack for online orders, Uber eats and other delivery services). So anyone can come in and just get free food from the open rack. Went in to pick up my online order, waited in line for the person behind the register to be free to help. (while waiting a random guy comes in, looks at the rack of food, takes an order of food and leaves, he didn't confirm his order or anything). When I asked for my order they said that someone already picked it up, told them how if I'm the only one that came for it and I just got here. It's cause they let random people get food from the (to-go rack). $50+ order and they didn't want to make my order again or give me a refund, told me to file it online or call the survey number and in 2-3 business days. I might get a refund from corporate, called the survey number, which was disconnected (hmm I wonder why) so I had to go home, navigate the online website to submit a ticket, to potentially get my money back. Never going to this location ever again, would rather drive 30mins to go to the location in Weslaco. This would not have happened if they check/confirm the order before they give the food up, but they let anyone take food from the rack. read more

Ordered the two entree meal. The teriyaki chicken was on hold. I was told by Dania, the unfriendly, overly rude cashier that she would bring it once it was ready. Waited and waited and waited... I get it. I've worked fast food (@16). You get busy; distracted. I went back up to inquire about my chicken as we were leaving. Another associate asked Dania if I'd been waiting. Good food. MY favorite is sweet heat! I also like the teriyaki with the sauce added. Everything is always fresh. Just always make sure that the noodles are soft enough as sometimes they are a bit crunchy and that isn't right. This place is always packed and they need more seating. The store is really clean but one thing I never like is hearing employees talk negative or lazy. The manager was sitting down eating talking about he guesses they'll do the extra cleaning as the big boss might come.
