Never ate here in the past but love this kind of food usually... I asked to try a sample, and I and was told, "No, we do not offer samples." I then bought a meal I did not like, and while I was eating, I saw a video playing in the restaurant (see picture attached) that clearly says they encourage asking for a sample. So... I spent 20 bucks on a meal I did not like, and I could have just had a taste and selected something I would have enjoyed. I am not sure why the employees lied to me, but it seems clear that the company does not care about my business. This is both the first and last meal I eat here. And the chicken was gross, so if you do eat here, stay away from that. read more

1/28/25 woman at drive thru had absolutely no patients from the start. I said I want a plate, told her what I wanted in it but she cut me off and said it's $10.70 so I told her I wanted to order more. She didn't say anything else till I finished then waited 2 more mins after than just yelled pull forward. Asked me for the money, gave me my food but everything was over cooked (old looking and dry) and hard. Couldn't eat it. Horrible experience and I hope someone changes this store at some point because this is just a waste of space money and time. read more

A bit on the high price with smaller containers than I remember, most of the time food great We come often. Last 3 - 4 times food not cooked all the way and always over cooked veggie egg rolls almost burnt, and full of oil. . Now I see they use a cheap smaller one no flavor no filling. . But staff very warm and nice and respectful. A little plain in area were you eat , but not very big either need to livin it up !!!!! read more

If you are only going to have the drive thru open then keep it moving. There is 14 cars in line and that is 14 cars from the ordering area. It hasn't moved in over 11 minutes. I'm an essential worker too and this COVID has been going on since April find a system. Now there's 15 cars while type and no movement. The line keeps loosing cars and gaining new victims. read more

Chow mein noodles are always too small and too many veggies. Me and Amy were not impressed tho when I brought my side ting she loved it . The food gave charlie a stunt in her growth . Extremely bad food poisoning after an order of Orange Chicken with white rice. Not much one can mess up here--except using old rice, dirty water to cook it with, or frying chicken that is spoiled. In the ER from 6:30AM until 12:15 the next day, completely dehydrated due to the inability to keep even pedialyte down after getting sick 3x overnight. Basic food-safety protocols would have prevented this. We have eaten at this Mishawaka location ordering this dish several times before, but never again. read more

I have gone to this location several times and I went this evening and used the drive thru and always impressed on how quickly they get the food out to you. We ordered orange chicken and honey shrimp and it is very good. My only issue is the food is never hot even when I had eaten inside. We also had the cream cheese rangoons and they were good - make sure you ask for the sauce sometimes they forget. read more

Haven't been here for two months so I decided to give it a go again. The food Id give a 2/10 but that's not what has now completely turned me off to this place. Watching an employee walk to her and throw her trash from the restaurant on the ground and then drive away. But when she was pulling out a costumer was backing out and she got right on her butt and a passenger of the employee opened the door and screamed at the costumer. You guys can keep all your trash. Very slow service. A lot of team members running around with nothing to do. We waited about 20 min inside to order and an additional 10 min for our food. There was no efficiency when it came to the order process. There were no greetings, no thank yous, or have a nice day. I understand things are harder with COVID but it was truly terrible service. read more

I love panda express my favorite is walnut shrimp. Every time I go I get walnut shrimp and noodles along with spring roll. All together along with the crunch with the walnuts, crunch with the spring roll and the noodles makes a party in my mouth. Then washing it down with the tropical tea. read more

Disgusted and infuriated YET AGAIN with the appalling lack of customer service at the Ireland Road - South Bend location. The entire situation could have easily been avoided, yet what sickens me is the exact same thing happened a few months ago! I come in ready to order a delicious plate with my favorite entrees and side prepared a special way. Rather than PLEASE the customer and even attempt to meet (let alone exceed) customer expectations, some inexperienced and RUDE person named Jackie decided to actually argue with me. I attempted to educate her in modern customer service protocols, but she seemed delighted to argue and would rather perpetuate the situation than provide a quick and easy resolution. She called a 'manager' on her headset, and about 5 minutes later another red shirt employee (Chad perhaps) claimed to be the MOD and basically repeated Jackie's dribble like a programmed robot. Nearly this same scenario took place a few months ago, but an actual manager in a black shirt came out that time and later lied to me. The people at the corporate guest relations assured me it was not Panda's Best Practice to actively argue with customers or lie to them. They further apologized and promised to retrain the Ireland Road staff in how to provide excellent customer service rather than miserably fail. Until their best practices change, I will no longer visit Panda at any location and will encourage all my friends and family to do likewise, there are plenty of similar alternatives in the area and I'm sure that competition will not argue with customers. read more

This place randomly closes at random hours. Turns their online ordering off, so you sit in a drive thru for over 30 mins to be told they won't make what you're asking for and you have to pick from their extremely small list! This place is BEYOND frustrating!! You're losing my business. I don't know how you're going to stay in business much longer, running it into the ground like this. read more

My daughter & I went to the Ireland Rd Panda Express about 40 minutes before they closed. The food was slightly picked over (because it was close to closing time) but the sweet girl working the line said anything we wanted that wasn't out would be made to order! She offered us any sample we wanted and was very pleasant. I ordered the chicken dish with the green beans. There were some still on the buffet, but she asked the cook to make fresh saying the green beans looked limp. She said their rule is "if you wouldn't eat it, don't feed it to our customers". What an awesome rule!!! We had stopped at the one on Grape Rd a few days before and they told us what was out was all they had. They never offered to make us fresh. There was only 1 spring roll left, so the manager didn't charge us for it "because it wasn't a full order". How nice. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience at this restaurant. Fresh food if we wanted it, and everyone was extremely happy. You don't see that much anymore. I know of several restaurants that could learn a little from Panda Express (Ireland Rd.). I wanted 2 plates 1 with rice amd 1 with chow mein. Was told again by the manager that there is no chow mein. I was willing to wait. Instead i left very irritated and not wanting to go back. This Panda Express is a disgrace to the chain. Horrible rude service from Lylianah. Under cooked teriyaki chicken. After waiting too long for our food we just just tried get our money back and the cashier Yesi said that was against there policy now. What? She tried to give store credit but we don't live in South Bend. So we said just give us the food. The chicken was pink and undercooked. We ended up just leaving it on the table untouched.
