I have never been so insulted! I called to place an order for delivery because they have such great ratings and I haven't had great Chinese food in LA so I was excited to give them a try. Based on reviews I ordered the honey walnut shrimp and veggie chow mein which totaled $22. I thought that was rather expensive so I asked to clarify what I order and the person on the phone kept telling me they have the best prices anywhere. Which is fine but I wanted to know how much each item cost. Apparently he didn't like being questioned because he said he didn't want to do business with me and hung up on me?! I never got an attitude or yelled so I was extremely surprised by his attitude towards me. I guess I'll be spending my money elsewhere tonight. If this conversation is an indication of their customer service I wouldn't advise anyone to spend their money here. I'm very disappointed. Smh read more

I am not surprised that there isn't a single review for this place, since it is a Lynwood restaurant, and 98% of people in L.A. have never even heard of Lynwood, much less Panda House ... Because I live in Lynwood and am a Panda House regular, here we go! Great fresh and affordable food!!! Everyone who works here is friendly as can be! They already recognize me as soon as I walk through the door! Food is sold as entrees, no "chinese fast food" here! But they are quick and helpful, they even offer food to go! Went to this place looking to have a hot soup for lunch. A solid bowl of seafood soup for 3.50. Atmosphere is quiet & It seemed that the owners & co were having a little lunch while I ate. They probably ate at a table to give the place a bit more presence. Soup was good & extremely hot. A Tv plays CNN in the background. Yup you've been to this kind of chinese food place. Place is dingy. Service was whatever. I wanted to get the lunch special but the cashier insisted I just get the full entree because it is bigger portion.
