Not the best but it gets the job done when I am craving something I shouldn't be eating. The customer service is okay. Sometimes they are friendly and speak and sometimes they'll just stare at you. I love the chow mein and shrimp fried rice. The orange chicken is kind of rough, I don't get it. The beef and broccoli is always a hit. I've given this restaurant two chances through DoorDash, and both times were a disaster. Second Visit: My order was supposed to be ready at 4:35 PM. I arrived at 4:45, only to be told it was canceled due to a pricing issue between DoorDash and the restaurant. No notification, no courtesy. The older woman working there was extremely rude, telling me to deal with DoorDash myself. DoorDash was already trying to contact them, but they wouldn't even answer the phone. First Visit: I waited over an hour for a pickup order. When I arrived, I was told I'd have to wait longer because she was the only one working. No apology, no urgency. Cleanliness & Service: The place is filthy--roaches on the floor, dirty tables, and zero professionalism. I tried speaking with the owner or cook, but it was like talking to a wall. No one seems to care about customer service here. The only reason I returned was because I had a DoorDash gift card. I won't make that mistake again. Prices and Food is always good, service is only good when Sherry is there and she serves each plate perfectly! Wish we could say the same for the other 2 ladies that work there. I've ordered from Panda Wok many times. Best Chinese food in the valley! There was one time an order came in wrong. Not only did they make it right for us, but they also comped two items to our meal. I told them it wasn't necessary, but the people here are extremely focused on customer satisfaction. I've been screwed by some, but Never here! I will not order Chinese fro anywhere else. Apparently my presence as an Asian customer validated this new establishment for some folks. The gal in front of us in line nudged her friend, motioned to me, and confidently stated "Look, she's here, must be good." In reality, I drove by, noticed the Grand Opening sign, and just wanted to try it like everyone else. We tried the: ORANGE CHICKEN = tangy and flavorful sauce, but the batter on the chicken was too soft, not crunchy at all BBQ PORK = many chewy pieces and not as tender as expected COCONUT SHRIMP = same issue as with the orange chicken. Flavorful sauce, but no contrasting texture on the shrimp batter. FRIED RICE = mushy and flavorless CHOW MEIN = soggy noodles, bland CRAB RANGOON = crispy, but not much filling SESAME BALL = good texture on the outer rice dough, but very little red bean paste filling The woman who packed our food was very warm and friendly. The order-taker, however, was aloof and didn't even say "thank you" when I handed her a cash tip. Food was consumed, but the consensus by everyone at lunch is that we still prefer Dragon Garden across the street. Best Chinese restaurant in the AV. We were used to the Asian food in Monterey Park area but when we moved here 18 years ago we couldn't find any tasty Asian food and had to settle with chain Chinese restaurant until Panda Wok opened. We've been a regular customer and appreciate their generous portion and that they open early. Their sesame balls are the best. Recently went to my friend's party, she bought their full trays coconut shrimp, broccoli beef, and orange chicken. They all taste better than the read served for to go. Getting there is half the fun, but worth every minute of it. It's kind of like panda express, but totally different. First of all the portions are far more generous than most restaurants of this type. My teriyaki chicken was a lot of chicken, and the coconut shrimp had a wonderful creamy coconut sauce covering the mound of shrimp. If you order soup, they go in the back and get it for you instead of having it up front. The bowl of soup I received with my order was enough to share with three other people, and it was quite delicious. Classic egg drop soup. Food is very tasty, huge portions and very inexpensive. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. This is a counter fast type of restaurant, but they have plenty of seating. This is the cleanest restaurant I have seen in our area, absolutely spotless. They always have an "A" rating. Every time we go here we are treated very well, and the food is consistently good. Never a bad experience. If you are looking for huge portions of delicious Chinese takeout, this is the place. We have also ordered catering trays and they were accurate, delicious, on time, and very affordable. Well packaged and they helped us carry to the car. There's plenty of parking, as the restaurant is in a strip mall. They are very nice about making substitutions with tofu in place of meat for entrees. When this place first open there were great employees working there. Not anymore. I went today 06/18/2020 at 11:55am and the lady taking orders has a terrible look on her face. Not a greeting or anything. She said "what u have" and I said I would like two separate orders and they started serving the first combo B and she was throwing the food on the plate like its a prison cafeteria or something. I asked her politely not to place the food in such a messy manner, and she says "I always do it like this" and I asked her not to serve my food like that and she got even more pissed. I gave her my card to pay and she literally threw my card on the counter towards me. That's when I asked to speak to a manager or owner (karen status) and she said "no manager here. Owner only we talk" and I said fine and walked away, as I was walking away she yelled across the restaurant and told me I was banned for life. I couldn't help but laugh at the situation. This actually happened, everyone. I mean, if you are going to be assisting customers, don't have a poo poo face when you are helping them and smile. It wont kill you. So I won't be going there again. Terrible. Food was mediocre at best. Bland. This chinese food restaurant was great before the original owners were there. My boyfriend loves this place so we eat here frequently. Fortunately, it is very affordable. They do accept competitors' coupons. I have attended a party that I found out was catered by this restaurant and they do seem to cater frequently. They offer both fast food and ala carte. Yesterday, we dropped by here and ate fresh beef with broccoli. I love their teriyaki sauce. I like that they offer multiple noodle types at the front counter. Service is always quick, warm and friendly. For instance, the place is adorned by stuffed pandas that were gifts from customers. The place is always clean and a surprising number of people are usually eating seated at the tables for a fast food place. They offer fountain drinks, smoothies, Thai tea, and bottled and canned drinks. I have a sweet tooth so I mostly enjoy the smoothies, Thai tea and Snapples. Only con is the area (have seen people trying to steal the toilet paper and from the tip jar several occasions despite the frequent presence of the plaza's security guards here).
