I've been coming to Dragon Garden regularly, and the food never disappoints. Everything is always hot, fresh, and consistently delicious. You can really count on the quality here every single time. One thing I really appreciate is the generous portions they don't skimp, and you definitely get your money's worth. If I had one small note, it would be that the customer service could be a bit more friendly. That said, they are always kind and respectful, just a little reserved. Anytime I have family or friends visiting from out of town, I bring them here and without fail, it becomes one of their favorite spots too. While waiting for our tires to be installed at Sam's Club, we decided to take a walk to a nearby shopping center and try out a place that had good reviews. Since I'm supposed to follow a low-sodium diet, it was challenging to find something suitable. The experience was similar to walking into a Panda Express--the food is pre-prepared, and you choose what you want. Honestly, nothing really stood out to me. I didn't eat much because of the high sodium content, and the taste wasn't impressive, except for the jalapeño chicken, which had great flavor. Absolutely yes, I would recommend this spot! It's clean, spacious, offers a variety of entrees, excellent prices (I mean wow), clean and stocked restroom, good service, good portions, nice area of Pdale with many other shops and eateries, but best of all-- the food was fantastic, which wasn't expected for this type of fast food establishment. I came here with my kids and their dad and we were all very impressed and happy we chose to eat here for dinner. There was a rude elderly couple who came in and were upset that their food would be served in to-go containers instead of real plates. Then they were mad at the person helping them because they didn't understand how to order. "Well, ):0 what combo am I getting?!?!" "Sir, that's up to you." It was like their first time in a fast food Chinese restaurant and they were mad at everyone else but themselves for not knowing how to simply chill and ask questions without being completely rude. I decided to give the restaurant a try because I was looking for a comfort soup. I ended up ordering 2 plates: chow mien, fried rice, orange chicken and beef broccoli and the hot and sour soup. The portion sizes were nice. The food was yummy and they had a lot of variety to choose from. My only issue with my soup was that it was very spicy, I've had many hot and sour soups but this one was very spicy I had to take some breaks in between to cool down. Next time, I'll order it less spicy and without the chicken too. The place was pretty busy for a rainy day. read more

I like the concept of this place, large plates and warm food. I was really wanting to try the coconut shrimp and ordered it....made me sick, something in the sauce or the shrimp, don't know but I know it was that because I saved the leftovers and it made it sick again when I reheated it. Just went in to get a bowl during my lunch time. I selected fried rice and kung pao chicken. When I got back to my job to eat lunch and took a bite of that chicken I realized that the chicken is bad, they served me rancid chicken. I tried to take another bite thinking maybe it was just one piece. Nope, you can instantly taste the foul taste and I had to spit it out immediately. The taste was so awful. I started taking out all the chicken out of the rice hoping it didn't get to the rice. So then I tried the rice and it was good. I payed 12 with a fountain drink and all I got to eat is partial rice. Whenever I'm in the area, Dragon Garden is always a top option for lunch. The main reason is the heaping huge portions. They take a 2 item combo to the max and pack your container with rice/noodles and then scoop after scoop of your entree of choice. They have your usual choice or white rice, fried rice or chow mein and have recently added rice noodles. I actually really like this addition because it feels less greasy and a little healthier. I almost always order the coconut shrimp and I remember when I first started coming here I was shocked it was not an upcharge for shrimp. I also really like their spicy fish - which is truly spicy and has a nice crunchy batter on the outside. My second item can vary between the kung pao chicken, teriyaki chicken, or black pepper beef, which are all solid. If I'm feeling like a treat, I order the sesame balls which are made to order so usually require waiting a few minutes for. The place is very fast casual, Panda Express style. Quick, convenient, and it never feels like the food has been sitting out long. read more

My husband found this gem in Lancaster, and it's so good! He's the one who usually does the pick up, but tonight I decided to stop by and pick up dinner. I came and it was busy, the line was long and the tables were full, which means it's so good. The line was moving pretty fast. In the menu they have 4 different combos. Pretty easy to place your order. The food looks fresh, and there are a lot of options. The guy who took my order was very nice. So that's a plus for me. My first time trying Dragon Garden. The food is AWFUL! Everything tasted the same very chemical with a fake lingering sodium taste. I got, white rice, chowmain noodles, jalapeno chicken, spicy chicken and the worst of all compo chicken. The egg roll was gross also. I really wanted this food to be good. The young lady who helped us had zero customer service and spoke in a whisper. The inside of the restaurant was a bit junkie with boxes in several places. We're quite disappointed. read more

I tried this place on the recommendation of coworkers. I assumed that it was going to be a sit down restaurant (like Great Wall) but I was surprised to see a lay out like Panda. No big deal. I still heard good things about it. When I went in, the couple ahead of me sampled the honey pepper chicken. The woman never said it was good, she said it was sweet. The inflection was it was good and she was surprised. I had never tried it so I ordered that along with sweet and sour pork. I got half rice/chow mein to try. The honey pepper chicken was probably the best thing I have tried in Chinese cuisine. The sweet and sour pork was just ok. I prefer my sweet and sour pork to have vegetables, but this was just a bag of fried meat with a small sauce on the side. The fried rice and chow mein is just filler. Its equivalent to Panda and just disappointing. They rice had no eggs, no flavor and BARELY any veggies. The fried rice from Trader Joe's, is better and would take less time doctoring up. I WILL go back to try more options but just ask for less filler as I hate being wasteful. All in all you get a LOT of food for the price, it was fresh and tasty. Dragon Garden was directly across the parking lot from Walmart, and with a Yelp rating of 4 Stars seemingly a good choice. Wrong, we should have gone to Panda Express. We both ordered the Combo B option of 2 items with Chow Mein and Rice (see photos for choices) $7.08 each. Some of the most below average tasting Chinese food I've had anywhere. Friendly service and 2 free egg rolls with your Yelp Check-in, but not worth a visit unless bland tasting food is of no concern to you. read more

Got some food today here and noticed the food looked different, when I got home their orange chicken, bbq pork, kung pao chicken and walnut shrimp tasted different. I called to ask if the store has a new management and they said yes, I won't be coming back here anymore as the food I loved is already gone. If you want to buy a business that has a following, don't change the very reason why the customers keeps coming back.
