I don't really do fast food but today I needed something because I didn't want to cook. This place is usually crowded but amazingly I did come early so it was empty. Yay! They have food that's hot and ready. However, I wanted my usually. It's the broccoli with the shrimp spicy. They have to always go in the back to prepare it. It always looks like it's fresh. It's so delicious and it is huge portion. It's plenty to share. I've never had their other food on the menu but my husband says that it is good. It's always clean in there. First and last time getting food from this location. Everything was horrible. The sauce spilled out of the containers and all over the bags causing a mess when we opened them up. On top of that the food was bad. It was hands down the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. In no way, shape, or form is this truly authentic Chinese. This is a fast food Chinese restaurant. The food is all precooked. I ordered the B combo - two main dishes with noodles or rice or a combination of both. With tax it was $10.89. The containers are smaller than they used to be but they seem to still give the same smount of rice and noodles as in the bigger containers leaving less room for the main dishes. There was enough rice and noodles for three people. The rice was dry And the orange chicken was hard. The Kung Pao had crisp vegetables but absolutely no spice. My roommate wanted to order from here asked me if I wanted to join and it sounded good I have never eaten here yet I was craving some authentic beef chowfun he called to see if they can make it & gave the phone to me when I spoke to the lady taking the orders I repeated my wish if they carry or can prepare beef chowfun. She asked me what kind of noodle I wanted? I replied of course the wide noodle she replied wide or white? Not sure which one as she had a thick accent. I again repeated the wide egg style noodle which in my mind is the best way to describe this noodle but all these should have made me change my order to anything else but she replied yes wide noodle ala cart with beef yet because my room did not check my order as he himself did not know how it's suppose to look like brought home something way different. The orange chicken was soggy, as if it's been sitting in liquid all day long. It tasted like garlic with a very very faint orange taste. It was very pale, rubbery, and inedible. The teriyaki chicken looked like chicken Jerky! And it tasted like lighter fluid! The food also smelled really bad. I think the chicken may have been REUSED given how it tasted, looked, and smelled. It was very hard, like it had been sitting out for hours and the just reheated. I will be filling a complaint with the health department. Just ruined my dinner! Based on the fact our shrimp egg foo young would take 15 minutes to prepare, they recommended we start with Egg Rolls ... off the steam table but nonetheless still crisp on the outside. Even the sweet dipping sauce is--how is this possible?--tasteless. We ordered 6 of them and didn't eat them all. But then the meal was saved, because they brought the egg foo young (shrimp) which I have to say was still after all these years absolutely delicious and amongst the best I've had. Our server, Martin, did a really great job. He was fine with us ordering one item at a time. We like to do that, because the food comes out and it's hot each time we start a new dish. Anyway, as a simple courtesy and not something we even asked for he brought a sample of their coconut shrimp to the table for us to try because it apparently is a quite popular dish. I have to say that this will probably make a lot of unsophisticated taste buds happy, but I just found it sweet and lacking taste and if you're a foodie you'll probably agree. (The steamed rice was moist and fresh.) We decided not to order anything else. Here are some of our top choices, but you can't go wrong with any of the entrees: COCONUT SHRIMP = not sure, but I think only available on the weekends, folks will line up just for this ORANGE CHICKEN = an everyday favorite EGG FOO YOUNG = 3 large pieces, note that prep time is usually ~15 minutes because it is MADE FROM SCRATCH TO ORDER. I suggest killing time next door at Dollar Tree. BLACK PEPPER BEEF = tender strips of beef in a flavorful sauce CREAM CHEESE WONTONS = crunchy on the outside, with generous filling of creamy, subtle sweetness. Get a couple orders of these! One food item I've tried, but did NOT enjoy are the EGG ROLLS. These were lackluster. Crispy on the outside, bland and mushy on the inside. Also, their BOBA drinks are below average. Service is consistently friendly, not necessarily always on an over-the-top outgoing level, but courteous and respectful. I've witnessed rude, obnoxious customers on many occasions, but the staff has never reacted improperly.
