I have been shoping at pando since they had the store the on the other side of ford rd and middlebelt, most have seen me in and out but after tonight I am done! and its simply from the customer service of the store, Brandon would be ashamed of thease employees! The girl who waited on me should be fired straight out! I have had her a few times now and the same service, but tonight was the worst, so the store was dead it was 930 didnt get acknowldeged from the employes who were sitting around chatting away, cool ok long day, im good I know my way around the store, but to get to the register and not be acknoldge by the girl who simply wrang me up with out any words,(but she contintues to chat with her co worker) told me my total and said ya need a bag so dry like I was a bother, never a hi welcome to the store never a hey can I help you with anything never did you find everything ok, she even was sitting while she wrang me up, agin not the first time with her or a few other girls that work there. so sad I'll now take all my cash to other gaming stores. and I was a loyal customer I got everything from you guys and sent you people. train your employess better. I dreaded coming here because the last time I was with a friend at a card show (it was at a mall), it was 2 of the most boring hours of my life and all he did was browse and bought a few Magic the Gathering cards. But yesterday, I went to Pandemonium w/ my husband and 2 sons. We went over to the Pokémon section, and I was amazed. First of all, I couldn't believe my older son, who's 8, totally held his own and knew what he was talking about asking to look at cards from different types of sets and versions of different values, etc. My youngest son, who's 6, was doing pretty well himself. But the thing that impressed me the most is that, the Pokémon guru, Trevor, did not talk down to my kids and try to scam them out of money. I don't know if it's because my husband and I were standing there, but all I saw were very professional transactions, ending with an official agreement-binding handshake. My husband and I were basically only there to show support towards their strong interest in something specific and would've only jumped in if things went completely sideways, but I got a feeling they would've been treated with the same respect if we weren't there, especially since my kids know what they're talking about. I'm so proud of them and so impressed with Trevor and the store in general that when my kids get older, I would be happy to drop them off for a couple of hours to battle with others while I go get some peace and quiet somewhere else. read more

We were here for the drop of a new expansion of a new card game. The place is super nice. Everything is extremely well put together. There's cards of value on a glass display that goes around where the staff works. Booster packs are available for any card games. Prices were relatively good. Came here to pick up supplies to paint a miniature for a TTRPG. Great selection of paints and supplies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; one staff member walked me through everything I needed and didn't necessarily steer me towards the most expensive brands. Would come back again! read more

EDITED: On 7/5/23 I went to buy a card they ended up not having, I went for the reg version instead, asked for a sleeve and a top loader, as I needed to send it off and didnt want to accidently scratch it. I was told "We dont have any open, but we do sell them." Astonished (because I went there a lot), I replied no, chucked in misbelief and exited without further word. Below, you will see the message I sent them, and yes, I was obviously frustrated, as this has not been the first time with certain staff. Following this message, I was banned and communications ceased. Below is my "berating" message Word for Word: "Whoever is working today is either representing you "Cheap ASF" or you are, if they are following some stupid rule. Asked for a 10c top loader for an inflated "$2 bulk rare card" and was told there were none open, but "we do sell them." Been coming here first for 2 1/2 years and that's going to change. Will be doing more business with RIW and let you guys handle any leftovers. Stop being so damm cheap!!" They responded with: "Sounds good to us Jason! This level of entitlement is something we are thrilled to see go elsewhere. By no means do you have to come to us for your "leftovers" as you are no welcome here. Not* my bad" Expecting you to provide a 10 cent top loader is entitlement? I'd hate to see where that threshold starts then. This is where it gets interesting, after telling my playgroup and showing their messages, we start talking about all our complaints, their $2 bulk rare $4 bulk mythic price floor being the most popular topic, just in front of their staff unprofessionalism (unless you get Jake or Vince). My friend who sent my message was replied with this: "Jason was told not to return due to how extremely rude he chose to act in my store as well as sending a berating message (above) immediately following the encounter" I will pause here to clarify, there was no encounter at all. I did not even argue being rejected the top loader, I chuckled turned around and left. This is a complete lie. I actually wasn't fully offended until I got in the car, thought of all the thousands I had spent there in 2 short years, and then my message contained my anger. To continue: "Since then, Jason has followed up by posting (this) misogynistic (had to look that up) Google review and mobilizing his friends to further berate us." This message is to the owner and PR on messenger: If your staff told you I was rude in the store, they lied to you, go check your cameras. Even without audio, you can clearly see calm body language. In addition, You can tell my friends whatever you want to cover up yourselves, they are not on your side, and they are contacting you on their own accords, and adding their own complaints for your review. I just get to benefit from seeing your replies. Your claim that I am bullying you and assembling my army to berate you is very, very comical and I appreciate the credit for my crafty response. A 10 cent top loader. You should be willing to provide that to any customer that buys a card from you. Period. Thats the simple bottom line. read more

Crazy lady employee repeatedly came out yelling at parade goers, during a yearly parade. The road is closed. The parade is short, there are children present. Watch your mouth! She actually threatened to have people towed. She also swore, the parade wasn't that loud. If I filmed her I could have posted her on r/publicfreakout The parade will be back next year plan for it! Management held my friend's review on Google because he had evidence of them gaslighting and blaming him for their behavior. Based on other reviews this a pattern and it's best to spend your money elsewhere. It's terrible to think a place is out here blaming customers for the bad experience their store or staff(management in his case provided). I went here a few years ago just to browse but I'm not really a huge board game person and I just remember feeling not very welcomed when I was just browsing. I recently was in the store on 8/10/24. I asked for about 15 single cards which they only had 11. While the helpful employee was getting the cards the manager Holly came up and told me that she had told me several times before that if I was asking for ten cards or more that I needed to submit online the list of cards i wanted because she was short handed. She said if I did this again she would ask me to leave. Nowhere on the website or in the store is a posted sign or anything requiring that. On top of that my issues with Holly go back when I came in with my service animal as I am a 100% disabled veteran. I had to pull my wallet out and set my less than 10 pound dog on the counter briefly to get my wallet and she snapped at me. I immediately set the dog on the floor and proceeded to pay but she was extremely nasty and unprofessional. I have had issues with her ever since then. I have spent thousands of dollars at the store and been a loyal customer for years but I am starting to feel like I am being discriminated against. Staffing shortages should not be an issue for the customer. Even if it was the fact I am willing to pay hundreds of dollars per trip should be looked on as good that can be used to possibly hire enough staff. I have had several witnesses when this happened. If this policy of ONLY asking for ten cards without ordering in advance is the official policy then what happens if out of the ten cards asked for you only have five? Does this mean I can ask for five more or is that my limit foe the day? I have to drive 40 minutes to an hour to get there to shop at your store but if I am unwelcome then tell me. read more

I've been here once, and I'm pretty sure this is going to be a regular stop for me. The location is one of the largest shops I've been to, and that's not including the section that's under renovation. Everything is well organized, easy to find, and the staff is incredibly helpful. This is a really nicely managed and organized gaming store. Pandemonium strikes me as a place caters very well to established gamers of various collectible card games (e.g. mtg, fow, etc.) and table-top RPG's (e.g. x-wing). If you're looking for a place that is more of a gaming cafe or something where you can dip your toe into table-top gaming, you might not get what you're looking for. However, the people run the store are pleasant and knowledgeable. About 75% of the building's floor pace is dedicated to open gaming, so take a look at the calendar on their website to check out a new hobby. read more

My only interest in this store is in playing Magic: The Gathering at weekly tournaments while I'm in town for work. The store is huge. They have a wide variety of game products, and a great deal of Magic cards in particular. Their pricing is nothing special - as is normal, you're better off buying cards online. The tournaments they run are incredibly inefficient. The judges pay no attention to whether matches are still running, so every round goes to the maximum allotted time before moving on. What should be a 3 hour event drags on 60 or 90 minutes more. I've attended three tournaments here - I don't plan to go to any more. My credit card was also skimmed here. The store claims to support Apple Pay (yay, encryption!) but their reader doesn't actually work. Buyer beware. read more

This is one of the best game stores that I've seen anywhere in the country. It's the quintessential place to fulfill all of you gaming/hobby needs. There is a huge range of board and role playing games along with all the miniatures, paints and terrain to entertain you. Honestly, it's fun to just look around at all of their inventory. The second part about this location is the massive gaming space they have available. When you walk in, you will be overcome with joy about the amount of tables to give you proper play space, but don't be fooled because there is just as much room in the back of the building which is opened during events. They also have gaming props available for your miniature play needs. With vending machines and restrooms available as well, this is the perfect place to meet with your friends and have a great gaming experience. read more

This store is where I get just about all of my gaming needs. They have an extensive selection of many different games (including Pathfinder which is what I play). The guys behind the counter are very friendly and helpful and a good source to talk to about new items and sales. They ran a great sale at Christmas time and I ended up saving a bunch of money! Pandemonium is by far the best game store ive been to! They're great for magic the gathering tournaments and purchases, their play areas are huge, and the staff is great as well. Pros: huge rooms full of tables which can support tournaments well over 200 people Tons of Magic singles and sealed product knowledgable staff vending machines for food and drinks tons of tabletop gaming figures and props if thats what youre into ONLY CON they offer Yu Gi Oh tournaments, so that particular room stinks during those events but thats more the fault of the players rather than the facility. (They have posted signs warning people that they need to have a certain level of physical hygene to stay in the building) (sad but true) read more
