Great store with lot of RC cars, planes and boats to select from. Lot of Traxx cars and parts.

I received a rude message from excelrc questioning me about my purchase they incorrectly sent ! . Then upon trying to reorder the correct item from excelrc they blocked me on ebay because they did not want to refund my money and did not like the honest answer I provided them with which was there pictures don't match descriptions simple as that . Nice store and friendly employees that I spoke with. I wish they would update their answering machine to be the same as the open hours posted on the door. The answering machine states open until 7pm but when I got there at 6:15pm they were closed and the time on the door stated closing on certain days at 3pm and most of the rest of the week at 7pm. Their website does not even list open and closing times which I thought strange. read more

Me and my cousin have went in there multiple times and have spent hundreds and the service is so terrible, they took over a month to order a small piece and I went and bought it myself. The workers there are always in a bad mood this younger guy I was asking if he could help me find a body for my car and he said go look over there and I told him I didn't know which one would fit and he ignored me. Man oh man what can I say this store is poorly managed by man children who can't even figure their own internet. They're nice guys and all but worst customer service I've ever experienced in a hobby shop it's almost like they are trying to deter new people from getting into this. They don't know what they have in their store and had no problem basically telling me to go some where else because they're not keen on the type of RC cars I'm racing... they've sold a lot of wrong parts for a new person to this hobby it's really annoying will be finding a new retailer for sure these guys blow read more

So before going into the establishment I had read some bad reviews, so of course I had a little bit of guard up. But the service that I received was top notch, there were several other people in the store that they were willing to help with all their questions and the same with me worked on my drone free of charge! These guys are legit. Well I just got into the hobby and managed to break an arm on my Wizzard x220s. Not being able to fly and having to wait about 2-4 weeks for a replacement from China was unacceptable. So I called these guys and confirmed it was in stock, they reassured me that the order could be shipped same day. In which it was, and actually came in a few days, which got me back in the air ASAP. Good selection of parts and their prices are good. The reason for the ** review is my experience with their customer services has been bad. I have been in here 3 times. 2 out of the 3 times I have been in was to look for parts, and ask questions, and it seemed the staff couldn't care less about my business. First time while in the middle of the conversation about building a Tiny Whoop and parts i needed, the employee i was speaking with, mid-sentence turns to the other employee and just started a conversation with him. I was left standing there for several minutes before he returned to our conversation. Then about 5minutes later he does the same thing. His conversation wasn't about my questions that he needed clarity on from the other employee, just chatting. Needless to say i felt my patronage wasn't appreciated so I didn't buy anything that visit and just ordered parts online. 2nd time i just bought some props, no conversation needed so it was a good experience, in and out. Third time i went in and was discussing building another racing quad and the employee was more interested in whatever was on his computer to pay any attention to what i was asking. While discussing my fpv setup and upgrades i was thinking about buying, i mention that i run a diversity setup. Not 1 minute later i was asked if i know what a diversity receiver was. Then when asking about different motors and how the cheaper motors compare to the more expensive motors i was told "a motor is a motor, it doesn't matter, they all do the same thing". Obviously that is very far from the truth so i took it as "I have no interest in what you are saying or want to discuss I am too busy surfing the internet". When I asked about some different frames i was met with no answer so I just walked away. i was halfway to the door before the employee even noticed and told me to have a good night. Again i just ordered my parts online. I like having a place locally to get parts and again the prices are good but their customer service needs serious work. Both times that I have had bad service, I did go in about 30mins before closing so maybe they needed to do some other work to close, but as a customer that doesn't matter. i am there to do business and if that business isn't appreciated i will order online. read more

I've been going there for over a year and have had many, many problems including them overcharging me $824 last week and I can't get my money back! Always rude and unhelpful. I have always given them the benefit of the doubt, but today was the last day I'll ever be stepping foot in that place! I recently bought a new build that they put together and the board they sold me on won't fit in the frame. Since I already soldered it and realized that the top plate won't fit - they wouldn't do anything for me! It was their recommendation! After telling them I'm a good customer that spends a lot of money with them and this was not my fault - I get a response from them - "everyone spends a lot of money here!". I'm sick and tired of being treated like crap every time I go in there. Fred should fire them all and get people that care about their customers not just chatting with their buddies and ignoring customers. And... I've sent about 10 people there early on and each and every one of them has said they are rude and unhelpful. I should have stopped going there ages ago! read more
