I visited the Pandora store at New Port Mall, Jersey City, NJ on Sunday, June 28, 2026. I had to return a bracelet I had previously purchased at the store for my granddaughter's birthday. The bracelet was a little small for her wrist, so she needed a larger size. The salesperson, Ashley, was very professional and helpful. She was able to switch the bracelet to a larger size without any problem. She also showed me a set of earrings that matched the bracelet and I purchased those for my granddaughter, and it was at a great price. I have purchased other items from that store, and the staff is always very cheerful, helpful, and professional. Ashley has helped me in the past and she is fantastic. She is awesome. Too warm and a queue to shop and another to pay.. inefficient layout at best. Some cool charms, to be sure, but beware the time you spend in store. Their jewelry is cheaply made. They say to help all you charms stay on your charms bracelet to get a clip lock. The clip lock is horrible is always breaks. I have had two of the exact same clip locks and both broke off. The workers are liars, don't believe what they say, all they want is to make you purchase things so they can make money. They will lie and lie and lie just to get you to purchase something. If you are not personally associated with them don't trust them, they are just being greedy. I just had my very first experience at Pandora for my 30th birthday and I loved it! Stacy was amazing! I was indecisive about what rings to get. She gave me her honest opinion, was super patient with me and most of all, genuine! I did not feel pressured into buying anything. Retail employees are usually pushy but Stacy was the exact opposite. She took her time to show me all my options and laughed with me as I went back and forth with two rings. I ended up getting both rings and a matching necklace!! It used to be so easy shopping for my wife for Christmas. She would start dropping hints two or three weeks, even a month out. As time goes on, it is getting harder and harder to shop for Christmas items. My sister in law has turned my wife on to Pandora. She received the bracelet last year. Now, I guess it is my job to fill it up. That being said, I purchased three charms. They are a Saint Nick red enamel charm, A snow globe white enamel and a dark green pave lights charm which looks like a Christmas ornament. As most of you that read my reviews know, I usually post pictures. Not this time, not until after Christmas so the wife doesn't snoop. :) The prices were very reasonable. The sales associate Susan, who was in training, was very helpful picking out the charms. Considering that it is the week before Christmas, and it is a mall, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I am not one to look for a reason to give a bad rating unless I think it's something absurd. I have been in the customer service field for a very long time and have seen many things occur at a business but my experience at this Pandora location left me with my mouth wide opened. As my sister in-law and I got to the store she already had in mind a few things she wanted to purchase. While she was being assisted, I walked up to the register and noticed the cleaning clothes that were available. I grabbed one, and then decided to get two; I placed them on my left hand, and with my right I reached over to get my wallet out of my purse. In doing so, I'm looking over at my sister in law when a staff in Spanish said "are you taking those? You have to pay for it" EXCUSE ME? For one, I'm wearing a mask so how do you assume I speak or understand Spanish, and secondly; why would I not think I needed to pay for an item that was clearly for sale? I have been a customer of pandora for some time, randomly shop at this location and the one at 34th street in NYC. It is important to teach your employees proper customer service etiquette and not allow someone to assume the actions of a customer. Something else could have evolved from that scenario. I've had the misfortune of having to shop here 3 times since March of 2013 and every time I walk out regretting having the immediate need to go to this location. I'm always encountered with rude, uninterested individuals that cannot be bothered to help you in the least and seem absolutely miserable to work there. I placed an order on September 21st and was told it would be in by the following Saturday and that I would be called. I called two weeks later to check on it and supposedly, my order cannot be found. I was told I'd receive a call back after they inquired with the manager. I asked employee if he was actually going to call me back as I had already dealt with something similar in March and never got a call back and he said of "course I will". Lies! I called back a week later and again the same song and dance. AGAIN, no call back and no one can locate my order. Called again this week on Wednesday and I was again told iI'd receive a call back and guess what, no one has yet bothered to call me. You have my money already and I have no items. I will come in personally and I better walk out with my items or my money back. I will be contacting corporate about your service, or should I say lack there of. It's truly appalling! Walked in to get my bracelet cleaned which is nicely advertised to one when you first purchase it and it's like I was Asking them to take a pay cut..... I swear I hate going to this particular store. The service sucks! These people have no true sense of customer service, they only want sales, you can tell they are just hungry for sales which is fine but I mean don't forget there are still plenty of people I could buy a bracelet for but NOT HERE! So I go today to drop of my bracelet to get cleaned and the first girl I walk up to is texting away on her phone too busy to notice I'm in front of her face, once she sees me she asked me what I needed and I told her I needed my bracelet cleaned she doesn't even look at me once more and just turns around and asked someone else to help me, she was so rude. i bought a rose gold princess ring and it began peeling. when i went to see if the problem could be resolved they "polished it" and "couldn't do anything" about the ring peeling. the worker told me that over time the rose gold begins to peel. wish i would've known that before i spent 80$ on the ring. never again. read more

Poor quality! I have 4 stackable gold rings (purchased in day), 1 rose gold ring and a sterling silver necklace. All were gifts. The rings give me a rash on my finger, and the necklace tarnished , even when i clean it. The rings cause my finger to smell awful and the rings themselves stink, even after I wash them or take them to Pandora to be clean. I've never had a problem with jewelry im the past. I can not wear my Pandora rings and they cannot be refunded. I will never purchase jewelry from Pandora for myself or anyone i know. I received a bracelet with a charm as a gift. A few weeks later, the bracelet broke and I took it back to where it was bought, Newport Mall. They asked for the receipt, asked when it was bought. I told them when it was bought, no receipt, but told them who bought it. I was told they don't have a record of it. How could that be, I was with my daughter when she bought it for me! My boyfriend and I frequently go to movies at this mall and sometimes we do a little browsing/shopping afterwards, which is how I got turned onto pandora. I always thought their classic moments charm bracelet was a little juvenile/tacky, however I really like the elegant aesthetic of their essence bracelets and recently I've been turned onto the rings. I'm a bit of a jewelry junkie and while I do think the designs of Pandora rings are pretty basic/unexceptional and similar to much cheaper designs on etsy, it's actually really good quality with a lot of detailing and they don't skimp on the silver. I'm also not a big fan of CZs but for some reason, their pave detailing is exceptional. that being said, I suggest you try the brand out during one of their promotions- they have free bracelet promos in march and september. And while their jewelry is relatively affordable (cheaper than Tiffany's), it does add up! As for the staff, I feel there must be a high turnover because I never see the same people twice, they strike me as young students rather than career retailers so my expectations for service isn't too high. I've never gotten any attitude and whenever I have any problems with my jewelry, they always offer to replace, but I can see how people might not find them inviting because there not super friendly and give off an attitude of ambivalent indifference, however again my expectations aren't TOO high since the entire mall is ghetto. read more

I made a purchase in this store today. I went online because I wanted to write a review about the exceptional service I received and the tax rate. It's ONLY 3.5%. Who knew? Not me! Well then again i'm not from Jersey, so how could I have known. I feel like I needed to let the world know. I was surprised to see the negative reviews about this store, I mean I know everyone will have negative reviews, but I definitely can't see where it came from at this store. It had to be from old staff because their staff is great. I even had a few laughs with them. They are really helpful but not pushy, I was asked all the right questions and they really paid attention to me so they could create the perfect bracelet for me, from all the special moments in my life. I was gifted a PANDORA bracelet by one of my dear friends. She handed over a gift receipt and asked me to feel free to exchange it for a bangle. She purchased the item in Richmond, Virginia. I tried it on. It's a beautiful one; but by design, it traps some of the hair on my wrist and makes it uncomfortable for me to wear it. So, today I went to the closest Pandora Newport Centre Mall, Jersey City . The manager there said I need to go to the original store to exchange it as it doesn't look like a new one. I explained to her that it is a gift from a friend who lives in VA. I can't go there from NJ just to exchange it and that it was purchased only on Sept 15. She said probably that's the condition in which it was sold. She re-reads the terms and conditions on the receipt and says, "See it says it has to be returned at the store of purchase". Really lady! Please read it carefully! That's not what it says! I don't understand neither-why PANDORA would deliberately sell not-so-new-items nor why the manager was refusing to exchange it at the Pandora Newport Centre Mall store. Why would PANDORA even have the concept of gift receipts, if you want the customer to go to the original store for exchange/return? Travel a couple of states to exchange a bracelet, doesn't make sense to me! Why would PANDORA cause such an inconvenience to anyone? This is the worst customer care, ever. So right before Christmas I was shopping and decided to go into Pandora at Newport Center Mall. When I first walked in I was encountered by two associates and they were going back and forth with each other about who was going to assist me. After a few moments they directed me to the counter where I started to view some charms. I am not going to lie I was beyond bothered and irritated by my first encounter with these two. Another associate came over named Natalie and she was great!! She assisted me with choosing 3 charms for my mom. Still being extremely bothered by how my visit started my boyfriend and I was talking about the experience and when we went to purchased my items the cashier just so happened to be the Store Manager Laura. After telling her what happened she was disgusted and upset. She gave me a beautiful Pandora case for my bracelet and spoke to both employees before I exited the store. I must say that I am a young successful black woman and upon entering the store my boyfriend and I was stereotyped and profile by these two employees based on how we looked, I guess which was we had little to no money to spend. Little did they know I was able to apply for the Pandora Credit Card and I was approved and spent more that I originally planned. Those two sure did missed out on a great sale. IDIOTS!!!!!
