The contractors who initially built our shower were not competent and Lonnie was very helpful in pointing out the problems with how it was built, while we were soliciting bids. Thank goodness he did, because it prompted us to get our shower rebuilt which saved us from potentially even worse problems we found out later on. There were some delays getting the glass due to supply chain issues, but A to Z was good about updating us on the status of when the glass was going to be completed and ready for installation. Once they had the glass ready, A to Z showed up promptly and had the job completed in a day. From a price perspective, they were about right in the middle of all the bids we solicited, which is worth it when you know you're getting good, quality work done. We love our shower and the glass looks wonderful.

Their quote was more expensive than the other two by about a few hundred dollars, but I went with them based on a few online recommendations. It took several weeks for the parts to be delivered. After the parts arrived, the crew arrived and did a professional looking but incomplete install because someone apparently forgot to order some parts (some clamps/hinges) that were needed to complete the install. The crew told me the parts would take a while to arrive. In the meantime, the office staff emailed me and mailed an invoice for the full amount. I pointed out that they hadn't completed the job, and they demanded 90% of the payment instead. I pointed out that our agreement was not for 90% of a shower, it was for a COMPLETE install. They repeated their demand for 90% payment. Fairly unprofessional behavior from the administrative staff: failing to order the correct parts, scheduling an incomplete install, then demanding payment before completion of the job.

Due to my hectic schedule, I had to reschedule my first appointment for measuring several times but they were very patient and worked with me. The guy that came to do my measurements was Michael McWilliams and he was fantastic. He always called to let me know when he was on the way and he was very quick and efficient. When it was time for my second appointment to install the actual mirror, Michael and one of his colleagues showed up and flawlessly installed the mirror in less than 30min! I had 2 projects that I needed quotes for prior to an out of state move. I had already called 3…read moreplaces befto stopping into Jennifer's Glassworks (purely because I happened to be passing by & wanted to check) I had photos and videos and was quoted a really reasonable prices for both. Ended up only doing the smaller project as we decided that we should hold off on the larger project until we moved as the risk that further damage due to moving was not out of the question. I brought the mirror I needed replaced in the next week and spoke with the same person. I was initially quoted $35 for cutting and production. When I went to actually buy it and have the pro done they charged me $60. Nearly a 50% increase due to "waste". One this was never mentioned. Two he remembered me and both of my projects but couldn't remember quoting me what he quoted me (I have it written down in your hand writing with your card but I had sent thought to bring that with me) they also wanted to charged an additional $35 to do the adhesive for me but I was already annoyed at that point so I declined. I had to ask twice for them to show me the adhesive I should be using (doesn't seem unreasonable considering your doubled you price) Also I'd like to note that the guy I spoke with generally seemed to be nice, but kind of made fun of my being tired and over stressed due to this large scale move and sort of diminished that which was not appreciated. I will say the guy who actually cut the mirror was nice. He removed some bracing pieces and gave me far more than he returned which was nice of him. Maybe it's because it was a very small item so they don't care but if I wasn't moving out of state I would not come here in future. The bate and switch tactic isn't professional and turns me off instantly. I can't imagine spending tons on a custom made door if this is how I felt with a simple mirror cutting.
