Turns out my wife called the Beloit truck on accident so when I arrived at the Menards Janesville location (5 minutes from our home), they didn't know what I was talking about. But the guys were very cool, very kind and made the two pork chop tacos with potatoes and didn't charge us anything, even though I offered to pay the difference since we only paid for the potato and steak tacos. We've been here many times and it's always good food, and they always give great service.

Mine smelled and tasted like bandaids... idk why i knew what those taste like or maybe my imagination led me to that. My wife got the margarita flight ($20) for 3 tiny pre mixed margaritas. Both of us did not like our drinks. The food was fine, the nachos lacked depth but were edible. The tacos were not good at all, hers (fish) had very little fish and the taco was very small and didn't taste like much. My Brussel sprout taco was also very small and VERY salty. Neither of us finished our tacos. The one thing i did really enjoy was their salsa that I had to ask for with the nachos, that I was also charged for. Ultimately we spent $70-$80 on a tiny meal we didn't like at all. I have no intention to return and would suggest you explore the amazing options around beloit before landing here.

In response to that he told me about a month prior to my wedding that the price per plate goes up if that many people decline (this was never in any of the contracts or emails). I let it go as about a month before my wedding, I had bigger fish to fry. Day of my wedding the food tasted great, he told me at the end "they cleared me out! There are no leftovers. I usually make a quarter pound of meat per person but I made half a pound for yours." That was it, I was excited and told him I would send a tip to him post-wedding. Fast forward to the day after my wedding and was informed by family that the last two tables of my wedding got absolutely no meat and just beans and coleslaw left. Mind you we had 3 meats and 5 sides, buffet style. One of my cousins asked the owner where more food was as he began stating that men were piling food high. To which she pointed out there were no serving restrictions or servers serving to stop this from occurring. I was embarrassed and tried emailing to the owner to rectify the situation as 20 people of the 160 who showed didn't get fed. And I paid for 180. The owner has not responded at all.
