Amazing selection of food and beverages. I had the London Chai Latte. Wonderful! Earl Grey Tea with steamed milk. I asked for only a small amount of honey in it and they complied. The taste was wonderful. My husband had the Horchata Latte- loved it. We shared the breakfast bacon egg sandwich- the biscuit was delicious and everything came together, and held up, very nicely. There was plenty of parking outside. It is a lovely cafe with lot's of food and coffee options. There were many seating area, great for working or studying. I notice the bathrooms were really clean. So far, Havana is what I have found to be the best local coffee shop. I really like the atmosphere of the shop. I got an iced chai tea which I was happy with! I also ordered their breakfast burrito. It's nice that it was handmade because I would so much rather have that again than McDonalds. However, I do feel that it could have been a lot bigger than it was. Next time I go I'll just be getting a coffee unless I can find something a bit bigger. read more

I love coming here for the acai bowl... until today when I watched the person make it with her bare hands!!! As someone who has worked in the food industry I find this absolutely disgusting. Havana is such a cozy/friendly atmosphere! Personally, I wouldn't recommend some of their foods/drinks. I tried the strawberry boba w/ maple tapioca pearls, I wasn't a fan. It started to separate within 3 min while the flavors weren't good and the texture from the tapioca pearls were off. I ordered a small dark chocolate mocha on my first visit to this establishment. I was very pleased with the amount of foam on my drink. I usually like my mocha a bit more on the sweet side than they make these here, but it was still enjoyable to drink. The restaurant was delightfully decorated for the season. Havana Coffee is a charming coffee house in the middle of Janesville! We arrived at Havana Coffee to find a jam packed parking lot. We were really hungry and in need of caffeination and nearly left thinking with so many cars in the parking lot, we' be unable to get a table. Not so! Although it looks small from the outside, there's actually plenty of seating and we arrived inside to find no line and plenty of tables to choose from. It was 2pm and we'd yet to have breakfast or coffee (don't even get me started...). Given that, I was happy to see that they serve a variety of breakfast sandwiches all day long. My dining companion and I both ordered their sausage and egg breakfast sandwich, which comes served on an english muffin with a slice of cheddar to boot. It was freshly made, delish, and came with a couple slices of orange. For our coffees, my dining companion opted for their white chocolate mocha, while I went for a caramel mocha. Both were quite good. They use Colectivo coffee (nice) and Ghirardelli chocolate syrups (double nice). It's an order at the counter and they'll call out your order to come pick up sort of situation. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It appears in warmer months, they may have some outdoor seating. Get to it! read more

What a huge menu at Havana Coffee. They have dozens of different flavored syrups, as well as frozen drinks, smoothies, iced tea beverages, coffee beverages, AND food! I ended up getting the Cold Brew with Salted Caramel, which was a nice way to cool off and perk up in the middle of the day. This spacious cafe has plenty of seating (both indoor and outdoor) and they also have a small retail area with Colectivo Coffee and Letterbox Tea. Got a medium mocha from here. Clean place, and nice people, but a bit expensive. $5.15 is even more than Starbucks charges for a mocha. It was good, but overpriced. I got a mocha and a brownie for less than that at Mocha Moment. Maybe I'd come back if in the area, but probably stick to regular coffee. Super cute new coffee shop in Janesville. Serves Colectivo coffee drinks; you can also buy Colectivo coffee beans to make at home. I only had an iced coffee which was delicious but am eager to come back and try one of their delicious sounding sandwiches and bakery items.
