You can't just scrape something from the bottom of the pot all charred and the consistency of mush, throw it in a container and call it good and not expect to hear about it. Where oh where do I begin If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I'd give -10 if I had the option! I was hired for this location and had my 1st day yesterday. I was told by Stephanie, the lady who interviewed me (yeah, I'm name dropping) ‍ that my 1st day would consist mostly of training videos and then put in my position to what I would think would be shadowing another employee. Well let me tell you how wrong I was!! I was first brought to the back by a younger girl (dark hair, in a braid, but didn't catch her name only that she did the scheduling) and she handed me a hat (that didn't fit) and told where aprons were and then she walked out and told me I'd be training with this young kid on line, making food, ummm wait a minute, I have zero training and you're going to put me on the line, what happened to the training videos?!? They legally should not have had me on the floor working anywhere and definitely not on the line making good without first doing the training videos! The manager came up before I could start on the line and told the other girl that she wanted me up front instead! Now I'm working with a lady (who I must add was very nice) who is also new, only been there 4 days and who was the only one to show me anything and this is in the hour she was there with me before she left for the day! And thats when they threw me to the wolves, another younger girl (blonde hair, name tag said assistant manager) came up and said I'll be training you! Training, my ass! This place doesn't know what the word means! She stood there for 1 order then went to the line and I was up there, constant line, sometimes long and I'm a new employee, no training, don't know the register and they leave me there by myself to deal with it all! I left after 2 hours! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!! THEY DEFINITELY DON'T KNOW A THING ABOUT TRAINING, BETTER YET WHAT THE WORD EVEN MEANS!! You should NEVER leave a new employee alone, EVER!! I will NEVER step foot in this place again and I would tell anyone to run far, far away from this place and definitely don't work here, unless you'd like to deal with EVERYTHING I mentioned above!! read more

I hate to say it, but I just went to Panera for the last time. They have changed the menu board inside the store, and it doesn't say what is actually in what your ordering. When we inquired the individual helping us yelled across the galley at another employee causing a huge commotion. When we finally placed our order, I went to find a seat. My husband stood waiting for our food because it seems they no longer use the buzzer system. While walking around in the dining room, all the tables were dirty. I decided on a dirty table, and sat down. While sitting, the next booth over some lady is having a live chat on a computer obviously working. I decided to ask my husband at the counter to have someone wipe our table. I stood up and faced him and told him. When I turned back the lady working on her computer was glaring at me for interrupting her work. Really?! When my husband came with the food they still had not come to clean, so I got up to move to another area as I didn't want any problems with this nasty lady. I did tell her as I passed this was not her office. When the staff came to the table to wipe it, I complained about the situation to the employee. She never once acknowledged my complaint. She wiped the table and walked away like I had said nothing at all. They forgot to give us a cup for our drink, and they left about 4 ingredients from my bowl. This meal was $30.00. I am so sad Panera is in the condition it is. It is obviously not owned by the original owners who wanted to make it what it once was. It has been my go to for many years, but sadly it is on it's way out. All the signs are there. Unless someone soon bails it out to give it some restaurant CPR as someone did for Duncan Donuts years ago it is sadly about to meet it's demise. I got so upset that I just paid with cash while he glared at me the whole time. He was not asked to leave or refused service. I'm sorry. I've always had great food at Panera. But this Alliance store was not good at all. We visited 8-27-20 around 6pm. Selection of bagels was next to none. My chicken in my sandwich was frozen. Bacon was burnt. The Mac n cheese was pretty runny. We couldn't stay and eat our food. The dining area was filthy. With this whole Covid hoax going on, I would expect the tables to be clean. The only tables clean enough to eat on were the Covid spacing tables that were blocked off. Lastly, the restroom was disgusting. This was the first bad experience at any Panera we had. read more

I went to this panera yesterday. I ordered the mac and cheese along with the sierra turkey sandwich. I ended up being able to get a free pastry. I chose a blueberry muffin. Amazing decision. The atmosphere of this place was really nice and all of the workers were very kind and attentive. The muffin, that thing was out of this world. I ate it a day later and let me tell you. Out of this galaxy. Unearthly. HEAVENLY! I'm so excited to go back soon. I also had a strawberry banana smoothie which was blended very good. went through the drive through and could tell the one taking my order was newer so i gave her extra time. when i pull up to the window i look in and this girl is running around taking orders and grabbing deserts. the manager on duty was standing around like a fool, gossiping with two other workers. i felt so bad for this sweet girl. they gave me the completely wrong sandwich, i ordered a bacon turkey bravo and they gave me some veggie thing that smelled so bad. went back and the manager did absolutely nothing to help us out and the sweet girl ended up getting it all fixed. read more

20% of the time, my order is 100% correct - because I order a bowl of soup. 50% of those times I have a spoon to eat it with. I try to keep it simple, but still, over $10 later, I'm kicking myself for not stalling the line while I double check, assuming I'll deal with whatever they missed. This no spoons, thing, though..... OMG When I drove up today, someone was handing their bag back through the drive-thru window, and when I pulled up to the window, the car in front of me stopped to check their order -I actually saw them throw their hands up. Panera always seems like a great place to go because it has a variety of options and is quick. I also like the fact that this particular one has a drive thru, which is great for when I'm on the run or feeling lazy. The question is whether or not this makes up for the high prices, the heart-attack in a bag sodium concentrations, or the lack of attentiveness. I'm sorry, I work in the service industry and understand that mistakes are made...but when you forget my salad dressing numerous times when all I order is a salad, then I think there may be a slight problem. Not to mention I've seen them actually mess up my salad (by putting certain things I asked them not to put on my salads on my salads - such as chicken, olives, and onions...real party crashes for vegetarians, or you know, people with allergies) and try to hide the fact that they're just picking the ingredients off before handing the order to me. read more

Poor Service, Poor Food, Poor Experience Walked in on a Saturday with my GF, no rush. Cashier messed up my GF's order and gave me a angry look when I asked her to fix it. I work at a Panera Bread, so I am aware with the way things should be ran and I can assure you.. nothing was done right at my visit at Panera in Alliance. I went through the drive thru and ordered a bowl of mac n cheese, a pick 2- salad and soup with 2 smoothies and a cookie. First off, she gave me a cup of mac n cheese rather than a bowl. Whatever, I thought to myself. Secondly, I had 2 rewards I could use (something I often do at my job) and she would not let me use both. Finally, when I opened the bag of food our bread side was HARD, in a way i've never seen before. Stale, almost. Good Food. Terrible Customer Service at this location. Completely forgot a sandwich in my to go order a year ago. They wrote my name in a book and told me that I would be credited next time I visited. I'm rarely in this area. So, here I am, a year later, in the area, and they tell me, "Oh, we only honor that credit for 2 weeks." That was never explained to me at the time and they could have mailed me a gift card or a coupon or something. The general manager was polite, but refused to honor their mistake, but a different what appeared to be associate or shift manager was ride to me as soon as I pulled up to the window, denying my claim in her exasperated response of "Oh, No" and stormed away. The wrong food was delivered, when we made the management aware of this they were very rude and made us jump through hoops to get their mistake fixed and then set the delivery of the replacement food for over an hour later to be delivered. We go here a lot. I obviously like the food. 3 stars instead of 5 becuase the restaurant is always FREEZING! No matter the temperature outside, you always need a coat. I am still cold wearing my fall jacket. Also, my order is off a fair amount (I order a bowl of soup nstead of a cup). They are nice about fixing it though. I'm in love with the broth bowls, especially the soba chicken one. The spice blend is amazing and it has just enough heat to make it really interesting with crunchy vegetables and chicken. If you have not tried soba noodles before, it's time! If you're looking for a healthier starch ask for the sprouted grain roll instead of the regular French bread. Great food freshly prepared. Outdoor seating on patio for good weather days but located on a busy street. Panini are sandwiches/subs that are heated, baked, to fuse the flavors. Bread is very fresh as all other ingredients. They have a loyalty program with a free club card. Periodically, you can get free items on your card and redeem them when you visit with your card. There are baked dessert items as well which are good. Salads are great as is the soup. read more
