The boy and I were out looking at colleges. Spoke to a few of the school administrators and they said BAM Healthy Cuisine was one of the local favorites. So the Boy and I gave it a go. My son, the boy, had a BBQ Chicken pizza and a BAM ball. I went with the BAM Bowl. All this Bam and no Emeril is throwing me off. Anyway, the bowl was very good. I don't hold back, if you have fresh veggies I want them all. Add some chicken and black rice and I was in heaven. The boy had the pizza, not sure why he got the small, growing college boy and not getting the large. He enjoyed it. I mean there wasn't a crumb left, so my assumption is that he enjoyed it. This is hands down my favorite lunch spot. The only reason I am docking a star is that the ready to eat sandwiches that are in the cooler should not be kept for more than a day. I came here 3 days in a row and got the same sandwich from the cooler day one it was indeed fresh and delicious but on day two when I got to work the sandwich was super soggy on the bottom and the lettuce was gross and the tomato was yuck! I did not realize they weren't made fresh daily. The do keep them overnight in the cooler. The wraps, salads, and sandwiches are packed with flavor and now I order and request for them to be done fresh. SO far all of the salads, wraps, and sandwiches that I have ordered from here have been delicious and warrant a visit once if not twice a week. My only suggestion to you is make sure the sandwich is fresh or go in person and ask for the sandwich to be made fresh so you make sure you don't get a soggy one like I did. My favorite is the cranberry almond chicken salad sandwich, the baja wrap, and the blackened chicken. If you are keto skip the the "keto salad it is overpriced and not good. Choose a salad and ketofy it yourself that is what I have started doing since starting keto. Terrible!! I'm vegan and always confirm that the food I'm ordering complies. on July 8, 2024 I went to BAM! Healthy Cuisine and it was anything but. I asked the person taking my order if the bowl I was ordering was vegan. she assured me it was. I even go through a list of things like chicken broth, etc to make sure they're not in it. she said it was vegan. Halfway through my meal my stomach started grumbling so I discarded the rest of the food. the rest of that day and now three days later, it's still. or good. it's been a rough ride, without going through details. When I called the store and asked for the manager, I was told she was off but Claudia would call me the next day. Never did. When I asked if the food could have been in contact with meat, she told me they cook the tofu on the same grill as the meat. This is something I should have been told when I asked that specific question. I will never return. Besides this problem, the food was overpriced and mediocre. I stop here any time I'm in town for work. While the wait may take a bit, that is what you get for quality ingredients! This is not a fast good spot. They have a large variety of fresh and cooked veggies, proteins and pizzas. Tons of dairy/gluten allergen free options as well. Just tried the salmon wrap for the first time and it was absolutely full of bell peppers, mushroom, zucchini, green beans, garlic and salmon. I love to get their meat lovers pizza or the buffalo chicken pizza. Both are very flavorful! They also have tons of goodies in the case you can grab. I like their powerbomb parfait - sugar free chocolate pudding with oats, peanut butter, banana, etc. on top with whipped cream. They also have amazing orange pecan muffins...best muffins ever!!! S​imply put, the food here is awesome. They serve every healthy option under the sun, and I have yet to try anything that I didn't love. My favorites are the salmon bowl with quinoa and the roasted red pepper ciabatta. But I've had smoothies and wraps and salads and pizzas and have enjoyed every last morsel. (The prices aren't bad either.) Fromstrict vegans to Paleo carnivores, I have turned friends and relatives on to this place and they have sung it's praises as well. My only complaint: Maybe they should come up with a catchier name for their delicious oat/Walnut/banana snacks. Well, I had hoped this would be a fast and relatively healthy. Over 30 minutes for a wrap and a salad. The couple that ordered after us were nearly done eating when we finally received our food. They kitchen was working quickly and the online orders were stacked up, but it would have been nice to know it was going to be a 35 minute wait. Let's not pretend things here are healthy, the fiesta rice in the grab and go cooler had a nutritional label with zero info, but then again all it needed to say was 100% oil, it was drowning in oil. Came here around dinner time. The one person working at the register seemed overwhelmed. She was working on an online order as well as answering the phone. It took her a little while to acknowledge us standing there (which I can understand she was stressed). Ordered 2 regular entrees and the total came to about $34. Definitely a little on the expensive side but I guess what isn't these days. Still, we found a seat at one of the few tables that wasn't visibly dirtied. Went to get something to drink but the ice machine was broken and the water jug was empty. Several people notified workers of this but it took a while for the water to be refilled. Well, then there were no cups. It was almost comical at that point. I noticed a family who had been there prior to my arrival and had been waiting over 30 minutes for their food. I felt bad for the single worker at the front trying to manage as she was pulled in numerous different directions. Honestly I was getting stressed just watching. Sitting inside is not very pleasant. The hum of the refrigerators is loud and obnoxious. The ambiance is not very comfortable. I had so much time waiting for my food that I could write this review. Hopefully it tastes MUCH better than the experience I've had, although I have very low expectations. Will never be back. Overpriced and they need to hire more workers at least for busy times of day. And keep their self serve water station stocked, or just install a simple water faucet. Just all around so bad. Update: they forgot the sauce to go with my meal. Cool! read more

I mean 45 minutes for 1 Wrap w/chicken? And then the high price on top of it. I could have went to Longhornand got a steak dinner for the cost & time it took them to make my food. I understand them being short staffed, but you should tell your customers up front if the kitchen is that backed up & their order is going to take 45 minutes. Walked in & several people waiting in front of me several feet apart. While we're all in line to get our pickup orders, a woman walks right in & up to counter to pickup her order. I look at woman next to me & both Shake our heads. I say out loud "excuse me there is a line". The cashier looks at me and says "I didn't know". How do you not see the line? An overpriced Panara Bread The title will tell you about everything you need to know. Walking in BAM sports a west coast industrial deal with its bright colors and decor. Concrete floors and bright, open floor plan. Little cramped for the number of tables. And the chairs are not at all comfortable. The menu is decently extensive with many choices for different palates. Expect a little "sticker-shock" from some of the items. They are comparable to a moderate sit-down full service restaurant. Three of us dined for about $40 with one being a child. Being quite health conscious the portions are what they should be. The pick two was also reminiscent of Panara with a half sandwich and soup or salad. I chose the Grecian Salad and roasted turkey sandwich. Definitely NOT impressed with the quality of food. The salad would be lucky to fit in the palm of your hand and is served in a plastic to-go container. Everything fit with room to move. My son ordered the grilled chicken strips which fit in a SMALL to-go container and said a "side of strawberries". Those fit in a small dressing container. It was 1 large or 2 moderate sized strawberries cut into slices. The third also ordered the pick two with the turkey sandwich and sautéed salad. Again, small portion, nearly half of Panara or other sandwich shop. Food took a while to get to us despite the restaurant not being busy. The condiment station was out of everything, including the plastic wear needed to eat. All in all, I would choose another restaurant. The only reason I am giving BAM the 3 stars is because of the decor and style. Nothing else is appealing. And they should tend to their floor a little better. read more
