This Panera has always been great. I don't know what recently has happened but my past two visits have not been good at all. They have changed their Grilled Cheese to a Four Cheese Grilled Cheese and the bread. We tried to get a Classic Grilled Cheese but they only have the original in the children's size... much smaller than the Classic Grilled Cheese. But when you try to get two of the children's size Grilled Cheeses it cost more than the Classic Grilled Cheese. Once I finally got what I wanted it didn't even taste good. I am not happy with the workers either. They didn't seem to understand why I did not like their new menu and weren't very helpful. I'm not happy with my experience and I will not be coming back. read more

Every Panera is delicious, and this bakery is amazing! I have noticed that lately they have been seemingly harried by the drive thru, and there seems to be different people every time I go there. At the Panera I frequented before I moved, my order was ready while I was walking in the door because I always got the same two people. Much less personable here read more

I have had bad experiences before, but yet there I was again this morning buying breakfast for the family. I ordered a rapid order online. very easy. I go to the counter and explain I had a rapid order- to which the "certified trainer" at the register immediately said" you need to go over there". I wasn't done speaking and wanted to add drinks. she looked annoyed but rang me up. I asked for a cup holder, and she casually looked around and said they didn't have any. the lady in the back found them for me. I had four drinks so that was appreciated. Took forever to get my second set of drinks and the cashier/ certified trainer handed them over without a word. So I go to the rapid pick up and let the man know I was there. he looked annoyed and said "it's over there". I've never ordered rapid order before. I get my stuff and notice they receipt said unsliced. I asked if the guy could slice them for me and he said "it said unsliced" I asked again to have them sliced. he says no, I must go back in line to the original cashier and have her do it. I'm standing in line yet again with 15 bagels, bag of cutlery, 4 drinks and a wallet... I ask the cashier to please slice my bagels and she said "they say unsliced" I asked again and she rudely took my bag tossed them one by one into the slicer and then threw them back in the box. she then opened a little bag with my non- sweet bagels didn't slice them and just threw them back into the box. Seriously, this is the rudest establishment I have ever been to and if their "certified trainer" is allowed to act like that, it's no wonder their customer service is absolutely horrendous. Wonderful! Great bagels and soup! Love this place!

This brand has become a lost cause. Soups have become extremely high in sodium. Bread has become tasteless. I bought two loaves of ciabatta bread. Crust so hard it was like a hammer. I cut a three inch piece and could see through it. There was no bread between top and bottom. Disgusting. Panera has become an embarrassment. read more

This is the worst Panera Bread I've been to. The past 3 times my family and I have eaten here, we've all gotten sick, and we don't even eat the meat. The last time my salad tasted like kitchen cleaner/chemicals. Never again will me, my family, or my friends eat here. read more

Clarksburg, WV Location 12/22/2017 @ around 8:15 am - I went through the drive through to get breakfast, asked for one of the breakfast souffles, the young lady stated they were out (it was 8:00 am in the morning. She said they have delicious crunching cinnamon bagels, (another voice came on the intercom and said we are out, not very nicely), I said a crunching cinnamon bagels would have been great!. That second voice came on again and said, "I said we don't have them". I said I know I was saying it would have been nice. I then ordered one of their featured breakfast sandwiches and asked if they could remove some of the bread from the bun, and they said no, the bun will fall apart, and not politely, then said to you want it. I said yes. 12/28/2017 @ around 8:15 am - I went through the drive through this morning. I was picking up lunch. I asked for the butternut squash soup. the young lady (Caleigh) politely stated they didn't have it any more. I said it is on the menu, another voice came on (Bonnie) and said well we don't have it anymore. So I asked for any vegan soup options (the second voice (Bonnie) came on again and very snarkingly said we don't have vegan soup. I said ok what about vegetarian the second voice took over the order and was not very pleasant. I had a few questions and she just seem very annoyed. Mind you there was no one behind me in line. When I went to pay for my order, I handed the first young lady (Caleigh) who was polite, my money and asked her to put her name and the other name of the other person that took my order on the back of my receipt. I believe Bonnie is a supervisor or manager. She was very short and unpleasant. I am probably going to just go inside next time. My drive through experience have been awful!! read more

Ordered napa chicken salad sand. There was half a scoop if chicken/ sliced chicken on each half. One side had no grapes, almonds etc. not sure if they are cutting corners to save money or what. It tasted great but the skimpy serving definitely brings the stars down. read more

I just had the WORST experience at Panera EVER. I went through the drive thru this evening. Getting through the drive thru took approximately 20 minutes. I have had my food faster at actual sit-down restaurants. When I got to the window, there were three girls seemingly in no rush. They were not apologetic for the wait, but they did seem annoyed to be there. The girl actually working the window looked in my bag and asked another girl to go get the cookie for my order. They stood there and argued back and forth about it already being in the bag. Spoiler: it wasn't. The other girl finally went to get it as the line continued backing up even more than it had been. It was obviously to-go, so I didn't have a chance to really check out the food until I got home--I didn't want to hold up the people behind me any longer and I had a small puppy with me, so I couldn't have gone in to have it fixed. My baguette was basically dough. In all that time that I waited, you would think they could have at least baked the bread. I ordered a turkey sandwich which usually comes with turkey, lettuce, tomato, and onion. This sandwich had two pieces of turkey folded over to where they took up half the sandwich width. There was nothing else on the sandwich except for FIVE TIMES the amount of mustard any sane person would put on a sandwich. It was so disgusting that I threw it away. This was absurd. This is the worst Panera I've ever been to. Every time I go in they are out of something. They'll try to substitute it or repeatedly apologized but the problem is always the same. There's an obvious lack of communication among employees because they never realize they're out of something until AFTER you've ordered and AFTER you have paid. But when you ask them to check if something is in stock they look at you like you're crazy and wasting their time. I love Panera and the food is great but this gets very frustrating, especially when it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. read more
