Buns are soggy by the time you get them home and we live 5 minutes from the restaurant. Fries are overcooked if they are a side and under cooked on the al grilled chicken salad. read more

This restaurant came recommended fron the front desk staff at Microtel. My quest visiting another state, is too always try something local, or what the region is known for. Our waitress, that took care of us, made my review well worthy of five stars. The southern hospitality, and genuine friendliness shown through by her personality and outstanding customer service. I graduated from Fairmont State in1987 and remember the pepperoni rolls and pizza being so very good. I took a Drive thru the area for a fall drive and drive over to the original Colasessano restaurant. Not there but found the new restaurant!! Same yummy food! read more

We ordered two pepperoni rolls and unfortunately got them home with no sauce, peppers, or cheese on them. The person who took the order was absolutely right-the receipt was correct. The name was right on the order. It was just a roll with sticks of pepperoni in them. I called to let them know to check food before it goes out because there was no way we were going to drive all the way back to White Hall to exchange them. It isn't the first time so I'm just not going to order again. Pretty pricey mistake for us. read more

My mom lives near the Whitehall location. Every time I come in town from North Carolina I have to eat here. It is the best cheesiest pizza and pepperoni rolls/hoagies you'll ever eat. Very unique food and they have perfected it. read more

Food is great, SERVICE Is SLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWEEEER than SLOW. 27 minutes after we ordered, flagged the server down to see about our side salads. Miracle, they came right out. We are right beside the check-in station and my husband spilled his drink all over the table. Guy and girl at stand just stand there. Lady at other table offers me her napkin. I finally go to stand and grab roll of paper towels and new napkins and clean it myself - while the girl from check in is cleaning table behind me. Food arrived 50 minutes after ordering. This is one of our favorite places to get pepperoni rolls in the area. It is always our first stop when we get into town. The only things we have ever eaten there are the antipasto salad and the pepperoni rolls, so I can't really comment on the other food, but those are both really good. If you have a big group, you will need a reservation or you could end up waiting a really long time. Service is always friendly but generally on the slow side so prepare to be patient. read more

I bought there frozen pizza from Walmart and it was the worst frozen pizza I have ever ate. Not to mention the price was outrageous. I would rather buy 3 red Barron's pizzas for the cost of one of these and red Barron's pizza is much better than there's. read more

When we first arrived we were worried that Colasessano's would be a bust. It was deadly quiet, with a cafeteria-like atmosphere. But then the food came! The spicy fried pickles are some of the best I've ever had. They were spears encased in a thick, flavorful breading and the marinara was a pleasant balance between sweet and salty. We ate them before I could remember to take a picture. The house balsamic dressing is also wonderful and they sell it by the half pint to take home, because you will definitely want to. The chicken parm sandwiches are typical, but the quality of the meat is good. No frozen patties! Don't leave without trying the gelato. read more

They should really start telling people that their "marinara sauce" clearly has meat in it and they're using their meatball sauce instead. Laziness. Vegetarians should know. Also, it's sad you have to order a pizza well done because every time it's just raw dough and even doing that doesn't help because it's still raw in the middle and the mild peppers you order gets changed and they give you mixed hot peppers instead. Buns get any smaller you are going to have to order 2 they in NO way compare to pepperoni rolls from years gone by I know it was the end of the day but the roll was over baked and hard I will be sticking with there shrinking pizza going forward read more

Ordered a pizza from here with hot peppers. It was incredible! The crust was thick and was SO cheesy with the perfect amount of sauce. It was a bit messy but was worth it! Their food is a Fairmont tradition and still great pizza, unique pepperoni buns, etc. Tip: eat there rather than take home. Stopped here for dinner. Seems much smaller on the inside than I imagined but very clean and quiet. Okay draft beer selection. Husband had the Giovanni Burger and enjoyed it. The French fries are delicious. I had the stuffed shells and they were great! The pasta sauce was really good as was the shell stuffing. I've heard great things about the pizza but we haven't tried it. I would recommend. read more

My wife and I decided to stop here for dinner on the way back to Clarksburg from Morgantown. I have been to the previous location in the Middletown Mall a few times and to their Bellview location once, and I have always had great food and service. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer and we each had the pepperoni bun with everything and small garden salads with the house balsamic vinaigrette dressing. All of the food was excellent! The pepperoni bun is a must-try. It's almost the size of a hoagie with stick pepperoni, meat sauce, Italian peppers, and mozzarella cheese. We also tried the tiramisu gelato for dessert and it was excellent as well. All of the above came out to be just over $23, which I think is a great value. The new location was a little hard to find, as it's around behind the left side of the mall and I hadn't been there before. Other than that, I don't see what there could possibly be to complain about. The food was great and the staff was friendly. What more could you ask for? read more

Colasessano's has been a part of Fairmont history for a long time. Decades. The Colasessano's family sold this business several years ago to an entrepreneur. The food is still good but going downhill fast and the prices are outrageous. $4.75 for a single slice of pepperoni pizza! Fake cheese on your pizza. Smaller pepperoni buns with much less pepperoni. Never enough dressing for salad. The Colasessano's family knew where they came from and appreciated its customers and our business. I wish they would've never sold it. Now it feels more like an over-priced rip off. In comparison, pizza in New York City is only $3.25 per slice. What makes them think this pizza is any better? This place has drifted far from its roots and has lost its way. Owners Carrie and John Menas- Please do not run our beloved Colasessano's into the ground. If you can't handle this operation you should consider selling to someone who can. And I can't help but think that the ridiculously high prices are being paid by us to feed owner John Menas' gambling habit. Yeah John we know about that too. Thanks John, we really appreciate it.
