This is a cute Panera bread that we walked to from target . I don't like the location, tucked away and you have to walk by Adam and Eve to get here plus a huge dumpster . Not really their fault . Inside was decently clean. Staff was kind. I think Panera jn general seems to have less and less front staff and really encourage people to order from their tablets . It does take away a lot of the human interactions. You do see a list of where you order is on the waiting list. Thats always helpful but again your interaction will people seems limited . Food tasted decent. I personally think the scone is too sweet but love the soufflé . read more

the food is as any Panera. the difference here compared to all other Paneras (I am from STL, headquarters) is that in Duluth the manager will make drive through customers wait for an average of 20 minutes plus rather than utilize the drive through perking spot for large or time suck orders. So, even to pick up a bowl of soup you will be forced to wait for the entire large and or diverse order of the vehicle three lengths ahead. Please redirect the business logic of the shift or store manager. It's truly ridiculous! read more

I'm really starting to hate going here, which is unfortunate because I LOVE Panera. This location is just horrible. I have ordered a bread bowl the last 5 times and EVERY SINGLE time they're out. It's a running joke in my family that you guys just never make them to begin with. For this particular order, not only was my order 20 minutes late, but as I waited for my food I couldn't help but notice the complete disarray of the back of the house. Tried ordering in advance for drive thru pickup and will never do it again. Ordered a Asiago cheese bagel toasted with butter and plain cream cheese. Arrived to pickup and was told they ran out of Asiago bagels. This is at 11:15AM! My choices were plain, sesame seed and everything. I chose sesame and proceeded to the window. Headed down the road and reached into the bag to find a cold toasted bagel with nothing on it. I pulled over and tried to butter it but hard butter on a cold bagel doesn't work well. Let me preface by sharing I rarely eat out, and I am very picky when I do. There comes a time when you are juggling way too much in life and one day I just couldn't put together a dinner at home. My husband is a double lung transplant recipient now battling cancer and we first tried Panera at Cleveland Clinic. It was surprisingly good! So back home in Minnesota, on a weary afternoon when I decided I was just too tired to make dinner, I got my phone out and ordered a Mediterranean vegetarian sandwich from Panera. My husband ordered the bacon mac and cheese. We chose a time to pick up our order at the drive thru, and everything went very smoothly. Our order was on time, and the food really wasn't any more expensive than anywhere else, definitely way cheaper than a sit down restaurant. My sandwich was delicious and really hit the spot! My husband loved his bacon mac and cheese and said it was surprisingly filling. I love the selection of items Panera offers, at least most of them somewhat healthy, and I found the app easy to navigate (I am usually technology challenged). Maybe it was a honeymoon first timers experience, I don't know, but I hope the next time is as pleasant because I will be ordering from them again! I cant vouch for the cleanliness of the restaurant at least in Minnesota as we used the drive thru, but our experience in Cleveland was decent too, albeit crowded in the wait area to pick up our order. read more

I asked "is everything in the bag?" and was told yes - silly me didn't babysit to make sure, and they short-changed my beverage. Normally my visits are good, but today was far from it. The poured myself some hazelnut coffee which did t taste nothing like hazelnut. It taste watered down non hazelnut, weird. We passed through Duluth on Sunday on our way to Canada. I worked with Chloe and the catering staff with a large order which they delivered to Monaco Air FBO at the airport. The catering was on time, delicious and professionally packaged (boxed lunches). We had some special requests and they were all fulfilled. Chloe and each employee I spoke with were very nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any meal and for catering needs! read more

Made an escape over the curb, through the grass, and over a second curb as we were already late returning to work. I'm not sure what's going on over there. This has to be the most filthy Panera I have ever been in. There were about 6 tables of 2 people but every other table was dirty. The floor couldn't have seen a vacuum in days. The drink machine was leaking all over the counter and running down the cabinet. When I told someone they said, ya we know, and did nothing. Garbage so full it was coming out if the top. HORRIBLE!!!!! And then the food came. Out of baguettes, we ordered an Steak and Cheese sandwich and it was well, see for yourself. The chips are stale. Oh then the bathrooms. Horrible service. Can't review the food because it's still not ready after waiting 30 minutes! When you walk in the front door you are neither greeted nor helped. You are expected to use an iPad on a stick to place your order and pay for it. I did so and ordered a bagel, a soufflé and coffee. Helped myself to coffee since no one was in sight. Waited and waited and waited for my order. Approached kitchen staff and asked about my food order. They couldn't find it in their system, so got the manager. The manager apologized said she would get it going right away. Six minutes later -- still nothing. How about giving me the frickin' bagel right away instead of leaving me hungry? Dropped in the other night for a quick and yummy treat. I was imideatly greeted by a friendly cashier at the register who explained the menu to us. We ended up ordering a pick two with a chipotle chicken sandwitch and broccli cheader soup. My boyfriend ordered a turkey sandwich which looked and smelled amazing. I am always amazed by the cozy feel of the dining room. There is also a wonderful little place for outdoor seating on a sunny day. I'm sure in the winter the fireplace gives a warm feel to the dining area too. Our food actually tasted amazing and I was very greatful for their seasonal tea assortment in addition to the soda fountain for a healthier choice in food. The last three times I've ordered from here they've given me the wrong menu item - if you order pickup make sure you check the bag before you leave. I try to get Panera chicken noodle soup when I'm sick, and they've given me chicken wild rice every. time. Once through the Panera app for pickup, once through doordash delivery and now again in store. Definitely frustrating. read more

I love dining inside this Panera and before my current experiences the staff were always so friendly. Since going through the drive thru a few times now there has been one girl that is always so curt and very impolite. The first time I thought well maybe she is having a bad day, but since this has happened more than once I will probably not be using the drive thru again and will just wait until the dining room opens.
