I always love going to Panera Bread to get take-out when I'm sick. (Kind of a sad beginning I suppose...) But their Broccoli Cheddar Bread Bowl is always a go to, they seem to always get it right. Their service is always amazing and I've never had irritable employees taking my order and I love their interior if I do sit down to eat there. At one point, I have had their endless drink option (bought on a monthly schedule), and it was also highly enjoyable, especially to pick up a drink on the way to work. Worst Panera ever but unfortunately the only bagel place in the area. They will be out of certain bagels before 8:30AM somehow, will wait at the ordering drive up window for 10 minutes just to wait another 10 once you get up to the window. I have eaten at Panera for years, unfortunately they are going down hill fast. Tonight I ordered a BLT but the bacon was mostly raw. Then I opened my chip bag to find not chips but a large ugly lump of something nasty. Then I opened what was supposed to be three macaroons were only two and a brownie. I don't even like brownies. Looking at the reviews here, you would think this place is a dump. I'll be honest, I've been going this same Panera for years and never had any huge issues. Yeah, so every once in a while I'll have bad service, but nothing absolutely terrible. It's always clean inside and for the most part, and everyone has always been very friendly to me. I use this place as a meet up spot with my boss when we have to go over work things, or if I need a quiet spot to focus on work. Every time I visit there is usually a meeting or something business related that other people are working on. But of course there is also families or friends eating here too. It's never loud in here, just an average amount of noise so it's not hard to focus or hear the person you're beside. I like the ordering system they have on the touch screens. It's easy for me to decide on options so I don't have to worry about people waiting to order behind me in a regular line. If you visit Panera on the regular, definitely sign up for their reward system. You get something free from the bakery on your birthday, and you are sent coupons on the regular. read more

Just dreaded going to the drive thru because it was often slow. So fast forward a few days ago on July 4th... Stopped here on my way back home to Atlanta because I can't tolerate most of the food options off 85. I do appreciate them being open on a major holiday. Placed my order at the kiosk and went to sit down at the bench near the pick up window. Saw my name flash on the screen letting me know it was being prepared. So I wait. And wait. And wait. We love Panera. We've experienced Panera locations in my states and have always had the same pleasant experience until this location. They actually lock their front doors with people inside at lunch time telling people that the dining room is closed. People can't even leave through the front doors which I'd consider a fire hazard. When you can get in, the person taking the order never seems knowledgeable about what Panera offers. The food takes forever to come out and somehow is a lower level of standard that Panera always has. My husband got a Caesar salad and all he received was lettuce. I came here on a rainy Saturday to get soup and sandwich! Right away from the beginning we were 2nd in line, however it took more than 10-12 mins to get service because they were short handed! The manager on duty was preoccupied, but was close to the registers. That didn't seem to matter because he looked at the line building and kept doing something else, another guest needed some type of drink refilled and he walked by her a few times before he helped her! So this has been a weird week for Panera and I. I have gone to three different Panera's in the last week. All of which I have had very different experiences. The first Panera did not have my French toast bagel so I got something else in exchange at no additional cost. The second Panera had everything I needed as I sat down and did some work. This Panera had the bagel I needed but did not have the bacon and spinach souffle. I really wanted that souffle as they are so very awesome. So I left and went to Chick-fi-la. The lady at the drive thru intercom was very nice and apologetic. I have never been inside this particular store so I don't have a review on that. I could see if they ran out of souffles at 10 am, but it was like 8:50 am. They still had like 1.5 hours or so left for breakfast so there was no excuse. I hope they do better. read more

What makes this Panera stand out is the people who work their, their patience, and grace dealing with a difficult customer. I was that guy today. I ordered a sandwich with no mayo, and got a sandwich with mayo. I let the crew know, and they made me a new sandwich... the wrong one this time. I let them know and they put up with me, making me a third. Working the line in a few restaurants myself, I know all to well that mistakes happen, but it's their response that struck me as remarkable. At a time when they must be under enormous pressure with fear of exposure to C19, adapting to new sanitation guidelines, and an increasingly tense economic situation, they addressed my complaints with an abundance of patience and courtesy.
