Just two people in front of me. It took 25 minutes to order!

While traveling through town, we decided to stop here. Talk about a mistake! The service is beyond slow! It should not be 35 minutes in line and over 30 mins to get our food! Get some competent workers! Totally uncalled for!

    Shrimp Taco Lunch Special

Fresh, creative, and delicious is how I would describe their food. I come here often when in town and am never disappointed. Today, I had the shrimp taco lunch special with a side of grits. Best shrimp taco ever had and the homemade grits were on point. Love this place!

Peaceful cafe with yummy food and atmosphere! The entrance is behind the organic market, you must drive or walk around. They have a good variety of sandwiches, salads, flatbreads and other organic foods. Loved my chicken salad sandwich on Great Harvest Dakota bread! I had the side salad and it was generous and yummy with balsamic vinegar. They also have CBD sparkling water that was very calming and refreshing. Perfect spot to relax and read!

The chorizo vegan tacos were bomb today. Hidden gem close-ish to crowders mountain. Great post-hike meal.

Stopped here for a quick lunch after flying into CLT. Ample parking, fast and friendly service, and super reasonable prices for healthy meal options. I ordered the Garden Of Eden Flatbread, which came with choice of side. The plant-based chorizo and potato soup was flavorful, but the flatbread made my day. I thought it wouldn't be filling enough because it's pretty small, but the soup-flatbread combo kept my tummy happy until late. Outdoor seating was icing on the cake. Will definitely be back the next time I travel through Charlotte for work!

This establishment is a two part business. There is a store front and a restaurant. When I first pulled in, I was confused because the store portion was closed. I then drove to the back, and voila, the restaurant was located. As you enter, there's a small rack in the middle of room where the menus are stored. Next to the rack is a daily menu blackboard. I missed the rack storing the menu, so I stood at the counter, read the menu and placed my order. My husband had the salmon BLT wrap without the bacon (FYI: the bacon is turkey). I could immediately tell he did not like it. Call it woman's intuition lol. I offered him my vegan burger and I had half of the salmon wrap. I honestly believe a little more seasoning and a sauce would have greatly enhanced the flavor of the salmon wrap. We looked for hot sauce, but we didn't find any on the tables. The lake slaw was good. The side of fruit was also good. The vegan burger was very tasty and well received. My husband wanted one to go. I ordered the vegan pancakes and the vegan waffle, along with an impossible burger to go. I didn't enjoy the pancakes and waffle texture, but my husband ate his burger. The restaurant feels cozy. You can see inside the kitchen from the dining area. A live Performer was singing. If in the area again, I would go back for the homemade burger.

So grateful to find something devoted to "healthy" in the area! I had the shroom cap sandwich. Fresh, lite and healthy. I can't wait to come back to try more. The atmosphere is cute, small and you'll hear tunes like Jack Johnson and Coldplay. It's located behind a shop so drive around and follow the side road down to the entry of Sprouts. Low key and zen approach- Order for yourself and have a seat to eat. Water is provided to the right of the register. There is wine option and seltzers too! Mainly vegetarian/ vegan but there are meat options too! Check this place out!

Sprouts Cafe is a gem in Gastonia, NC. Perfect for the vegans and vegetarians to have a nice variety of menu options, but don't worry they have some meaty favorites as well . The food is fresh like the garden was outside the door. I'm not in town often so I had to get my go to Shroom Cap Sandwich with a side of Brussel Sprout Cold Slaw. To be honest words don't do this sandwich justice. The only thing that could describe it is the burst of flavors that massage your taste buds. A marinated grilled portabella mushroom topped with caramelized onions, tomato jam, mixed greens with a blend of feta/mozzarella finished with a garlic herb aioli. The flavors marry each other well with a side of sweet tangy Brussel sprout slaw. If you are a local resident or visiting from out of town go get you good service with a smile.

The food is VERY fresh, vegan and gluten free, it's delicious! Definitely my go too lunch spot

One of my favorites in Gastonia. Also a great option for the area that doesn't always have the best for healthier options. Just picked up an order today for four people and in spite of not including my brussel sprout salad (hands down the best side they have), still five stars. One the quality and service is always there, two when something is not correct they make it right! The side brussel salad should be an entree! Don't get discouraged if you they don't answer during business hours. You will hear a recording that voicemail isn't set up and there is no option to leave a message or call back number. Just keep trying, they will pick-up. *photo from previous order/visit

Inventive, complex flavors that don't leave you feeling guilty. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Fresh juice, smoothies, flat breads, sandwiches and so much more. The daily specials are always amazing! You're really can't go wrong. This café is tucked behind the Organic market and my favorite stop after a Crowder's Mountain hike, on the way back to the city. Support small business and shop local here!

I thought he would enjoy the theme, environment/vibe so that was my suggestion! Of course they didn't let us down lol! He was looking up the movie that was playing on the screen with Barbara Stanwick and a young Kirk Douglas. We loved the music they had playing as well so many memories wow what a throwback! We were seated upstairs and had a wonderful view of the screen, not to mention the activities in the kitchen down below. Really it's the best seat if you call for reservations! We ordered off of the brunch menu for main dishes, I told him he absolutely had to try a couple of the appetizers! We had fried green tomatoes, and the angry lobster to start. Both were absolutely wonderful and exactly what I expected so definitely consistent. We ordered two Benedict dishes. I got the crabcake Benedict and he got the eggs with ham. Everything was very good, but when it comes to crabcakes, I can't lie. Nothing compares to 131 main so the size of the Crabcakes - I was a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong. They were fresh, but too thin and the flavor and texture were not to my personal preference. The crab kind of got lost in all the other ingredients. I would definitely try a different dish next time. I ordered a side of bacon, perfectly cooked and great flavor. Along with the side of their mac & cheese, which has always been a favorite. I love the combination of cheeses that they use. It's such a treat! Lastly, we had to have their Parmesan truffle fries. Again consistent, excellent! They are always busy so reservations are required versus recommended to be honest. But we parked for free across the street because we were there early. Sadly, neither one of us had room for dessert, but their desserts are so good and the helpings are huge. Maybe next time!

The whiting, deserving of an unequivocal five stars, showcased culinary prowess with a perfect fusion of seasoning and expert frying. A dish that resonates with aficionados of impeccably prepared, succulent fish. Delving into the wings, ordered with a mild flavor, proved to be a delectable experience in its own right. However, I dare say, a tad more crispiness would elevate them to unparalleled heights. As for the accompanying fries, they adhered to the archetype of standard restaurant fare, bereft of seasoning. A polite word of advice: summon the shakers of salt and pepper to awaken these unassuming spuds.
