Ham and Gouda in a delicious crusty bread
    Marita S.

Great stop for lunch! Quick and easy. Delicious ham and Gouda sandwich with potato chips. Very friendly service!

$11 worth of sandwich. Worst value in dining out there is. Less than 4" across and barely any chicken.

    Warm bowl, teriyaki & broccoli
    Isabelle F.

Listen. I got an order tonight from Uber Eats (great company, better than DD might I add), and it upsets me that they totally messed up my order. But wait: they also messed up my order through their own DRIVE-THRU last month. I'm typically a HUGE Panera advocate, but, these past two experiences have killed me beyond belief...! I was hoping this time would be better as opposed to the drive thru. The female worker was terribly rude. Also, that parking lot and street on Wade Hampton with that left turn is GOD awful. Be careful, please, if you choose to visit this location. I ordered a bread bowl broccoli & cheddar soup. Instead. They gave me multiple baguettes of bread for the lack and bread-bowl and lack of SOUP. What the world! and this happened both or my recent times. Such a shame !

$11 for a half sandwich which was a triangle measuring 3.75" at its longest side and had a minuscule amount of chicken. will never ever go back.

My "chocolate chip" bagels that are blueberry
    Mary F.

Panera always seems to disappoint. Stopped by after work this morning. Order a half dozen of bagels. 3 choc 3 cinnamon with honey walnut spread. Ended up getting 2 cinnamon and 4 blueberry. Wanted a sausage egg and cheese but was told "we don't serve sausage" when sausage is clearly on their menu. When we pulled up at the window she asked which spread that I wanted again. I asked what our options were. She snapped and said " I'm asking because I didn't charge you for it " Well. Our total was $15.57 so yes, we were charged for it and not to mention I didn't receive a receipt.

I don't recommend the drive thru. ESPECIALLY at night. The print is too small and there's no light source on the menu.
    Stephanie B.

The drive thru is pointless. Even of you could Manage to read the small print on the menu, you certainly wouldn't be able to at night. There's minimal light. No lights for the actual drive thru.

Does that look like autumn squash soup?

But these guys do make a BIG swing and a BIG hit. First off, customer service. Justin waited on me and asked right away if I was a first-timer, which I was, and at the end of a quest to arrive here. And so he gave me the layout in the menu, the NJ flown in Liscio's bread, and the Cooper American cheese and shaved sliced beef. It's the real deal and it does travel well, at least for 3-4 miles back home. It's a 10 inch sub, there are many options. I went classic. But check the pics of menu items (the Mort looks great, Mortadella coma?!) But the classic will fill. And it is tasty. Simple, authentic, tasty. That's why we are here. And the friendly customer guidance, beyond any expectations, when anyone is at the counter, they are recognized if regulars, acknowledged if first timers and the center of the universe for the counter man, (in this case, Justin). And, a couple of Dum-Dum lollipop treats for the wife who abstained for today. The sandwich was a hit. It's a bit expensive, but I understand we just beat a line out the door crowd at 11:15, so plan accordingly. I'll be back. Must try other items too. Beer and soda available. Worth the trip if authenticity is your bag, baby, if not, there's always Jersey Mikes, but support local, man! Get with the Harry's groovy and tasty vibe.

The cashier was upbeat and excited about the food they serve. First time at this spot. Not too busy, but it was Thursday night and it's out of the way. Cashier gave recommendations, but I went rogue and got the Falafel Pita sandwich with a side salad and really enjoyed that. Really nice flavor combinations and filling. The sandwich comes with roasted peppers, heirloom tomatoes, artisan lettuce, beet hummus (surprising good), and refreshing alfalfa sprouts that seem to work for this sandwich. The dressing is super zingy, be sure you like lemon (I do) as that's really pronounced in that dressing. The sandwich is rich so I definitely recommend getting the salad with that one. My spouse got the Sandwich special: Burrata Sandwich (Ciabatta roll, burrata, steak, peppers, onions) with fries. The fries were plentiful and warm but not blazing hot. There's a self-serve soda station, condiment station, and paper to-go boxes. This spot would meet the bill if you are looking for a sandwich / salad spot for an intimate date night or fun time with friends.

It must be a popular spot for the area in general, because we crammed into the last table available, and the waitresses were running around like crazy trying to help everyone. The wife of the husband and wife pairing that own this place was the one who helped us, and she could not be nicer, though just overwhelmed with customers on this particular day. In the kitchen, the husband was cooking up a storm, making sandwiches as fast as he could. The family looks like a melting pot of people from all over, with the central tree in the restaurant bearing arrow signs of their various origins. Cincinnati, St. Croix, and Mexico city are represented. In general, the restaurant has a great feel. I order one of their versions of a reuben, they had a few different takes, this one seems the most like a classic. It was delicious, great decision. Good amount of meat, kraut, tasty dressing, nicely buttered and grilled rye. I opted for the slight upcharge and got fries with my sandwich, they were nicely crisp on the outside and very tasty. Because of how busy they are it was difficult to get a drink refill on this hot day, but I helped myself to one, and that was fine. I have no way of knowing currently the state of affairs at this business, because downtown Hendersonville saw a large amount of flooding. I hope that they escaped great peril, or if they had damage, are able to recover and re-open quickly as the area digs itself out. #WNCStrong

That is what I expect when paying good money for a sub. They're above average, have good service, excellent ambiance with their own personality to it but why not the fifth star? Because it's best getting your order to go. There is no bathroom inside for patrons. That is something I never forgive because if it's true that there is no bathroom then you're forcing your employees to have to walk to the closest one and if there is a bathroom then why can't paying customers who keep you in business use it? I'm not gonna sit down and halfway through a meal need to use the restroom and not be able to relieve myself, that's just crazy. Other than that I really have no other complaints that stand out.
