You can't beat the combo deals.

One of Greer's hidden gems. I'll make this short and sweet. They use Nathan's all beef hot dogs. Great cheese sauce. Chili that at least doesn't taste like it came from a can. You can sit outside with your dogs while having some dogs under the shade of an umbrella. This place doesn't try to be something it isn't. Classic scoop ice cream right there. Nothing like an ice cold Coke and a dog. Hot dogs made without third rate junk falling all over it like some gas station to go mess. Good and classic American food. Get some. 5/5 stars. All hot dogs: 5/5 stars.

Great hotdogs chili and slaw! Great service with really nice staff and fair prices! This is my favorite place to get a hotdog in Greer!

Unfortunately it was just alright. The chili seriously lacked flavor but if you are in a rush and just want something quick it's not bad

It doesn't appear like much from the outside, but this is a cozy and yummy place to pop in for a lunch. Very pleased.

The broccoli salad was a surprise, it is all florettes no stalks to bulk it up and save money.

Our first choice to eat was the Farehouse, conveniently located, but they had a long back up in the kitchen due to a very large party of two dozen or more. I'm thinking, what do I know on this side of town and Sub Station II came to mind. In the late 1970's I used to visit here frequently for their New York style subs and they had the only and first Space Invaders video game in the area. Probably around 1977. The reason for only five stars is because they have done nothing to the interior since 1977. There are items stored out in the open that shouldn't be, like the vacuum cleaner and other supplies - just an oddity. The restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms, but it was bare bones for tables & chairs. There were two sandwich makers plus the cashier/manager who also made sandwiches. He was good about washing hands after handling money and then donning gloves to jump in on the sandwich making. He was also very thorough about making sure he made the sandwiches exactly the way each customer wanted. There were about 8 orders in front of our 6 orders, but time for our sandwiches came quicker than I thought it would. What makes the place is the sub, supposedly they are New York style. They are everywhere now in this style, but in 1977 this was the only game in town and they are still very good. The meats are fresh cut, the bread is baked on premises from a "special recipe" formulated just for Sub Station II and each sub bread is toasted so that it can hold up to the "all the way" style: oil, vinegar, lettuce, onions, tomato, oregano, salt and pepper (red pepper). Everyone was surprised at how good the subs were and we made a note to return more often. And we made it to the theater in plenty of time too!

I walked around the store and bought things on sale. Sadly, the sale prices that are posted is not how things ring up. The other problem, I bought a smoked chicken a whole chicken. I was very excited to get home and eat it. It wasn't fully cooked. I didn't realize and ate a chicken wing. I also bought a piece of cooked salmon. I'm not sure if it was the salmon or the chicken but all of a sudden I was so incredibly nauseous! Then I looked for my receipt. I had no memory of the cashier giving me a receipt. I looked through all my bags. I looked in my purse. I looked in my wallet. No receipt. Oh and I bought a bottle of evolution. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Opened it up when I got home and it was bitter, which meant it was going bad already. And I went directly from the store home so it didn't sit in my car and get warm. Since I didn't have a receipt and I felt I was overcharged... The charge of my credit card wasn't what I thought I had paid... I returned everything to the store. They were able to download my receipt. They did give me a complete credit for everything I bought. But there was something I went back and bought. Simple syrup mixers for alcoholic drinks. They were on sale for $2.99 and usually $4.35 or $4.50. My original purchase I had bought five. That's definitely a good deal and I use this product all the time. After returning everything, I went back to the shelves and grabbed two bottles of simple syrup. When I went to pay, here's a surprise: they rang up at full price. As I walked into the store, and as I walked out of the store, I kept telling people to check their receipts. It's very common for grocery stores to have sale prices posted, but not update their computer system and if you're not paying attention, you do not get the sale price. Well, sadly, I guess this is what this chain does. I hope the people who run this chain read my review. I hope they check how they cook their chickens in store and sell them as fully cooked. I know Costco and all the other grocery store chains do not sell undercooked hot chickens. Someone's not doing their job or they don't have their thermometers working. Very sad.

I will say my omelette was very good, but pricing seemed a bit high especially for the setting and ambience. It was more along the lines of what we would pay at a trendy brunch spot.
