I recently visited Panera Bread during my visit in Las Vegas. As an Unlimited Sip Club Member, this was the place to go for large drinks that I can take back to my hotel. Overall, it was a good visit. From the moment I walked in, staffers greeted my and I just told them I am here to redeem my drink. Ordering was simple as there were multiple kiosks to place your order. I also got a side of their broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl as I was craving some warm soup during this cold evening. Took awhile to get my soup and bread bowl to go so I sat at a table to wait patiently. Unfortunaely the restroom visit and sticky tables weren't the best. I'll start by saying I have never been to these type of places....just because they aren't for me, but i went with a friend because we needed something quick on a time crunch & wanted to check it out. For me Panera is pretty much the final boss of "fast casual hospital cafeteria disguised as a cozy quaint bakery". You pretty much get a $15 sandwich lacking flavor depth and tepid soup. i equated it to assembly line comfort food so it hovers around completely unmemorable. The restaurant is designed for quick visits, but i don't get all the craze about it. Again it's me not you- I don't go to these type of places as I am used to actual craft and real sit down experiences ...not fast casual assembly line stuff that's a touch worse than airline food. read more

Food is fine. It's Panera, so you know what to expect. What I don't understand is why it's 60 degrees in here when it's 110 degrees outside. You come from the outside in a dress and within 4 seconds I had to get a sweatshirt from my car. Even though I was shivering and freezing and can barely think straight (that's already a challenge to be honest). A/c on blast. Yes but maybe turn it down (up?) a notch. It's uncomfortably FREEZING. I didn't grow up with Panera so I don't really think about getting food there. Honestly, this is probably my third time eating here and the last time was in 2008. This Panera is pretty close to my workplace and we were hungry so we decided to come in and get some take-out. Man, I have been sleeping on this place. I can see why it's so popular. Walking in, the person working the register was friendly and inviting. She made good banter with us but was also super serious about her job. When we finished ordering, and were waiting in the dining room for our name to be called out, she brought us some cookies. So nice!!! While we didn't eat here, I loved the amount of seating and the lay out to pick up your food from the cash register. It makes sense to keep these areas separate and I loved the screen that has your order status on it. The food we got was delicious and plentiful. I love the amount of stuff you get for the price point. Will definitely be back at lunch hour one of these days. Heck, I might make my family go here more often as well. read more

Just stopped by to use my Panera rewards. Miguel and the nice man at the register honored all our deals. Our food was brought out quickly. Super friendly staff, super hot delicious coffee! Great choice off the strip. Lots of free parking as well, just watch for the turn to the lot, it comes up quickly. It's also really nice and cool inside. read more

Today, January 28, around 7 p.m., at Panera, two employees (one tall, overweight Black woman and one short black woman ) spat in a customer's food. They also prevented me from getting a drink even though I am a Sip Club member. We ordered through the Panera App for a work lunch to be delivered. Our lunch was for 12 people and we spent about $250. Our order was delivered on time and our order was perfect. Everyone got their food exactly how they ordered it. I had the "Pick Two" and went with the Half Asian Sesame Chicken Salad and the Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice Soup. Both my items were delicious. The salad had nice a nice portion of chicken. The soup is one of my favorites there. They packaged everything well in two large recyclable shopping bags. I am not usually a big fan of Panera as a whole. I've not had the best experiences across a few diffferent locations. But I have a big ol' BUT...this location in Hughes Center has been pretty solid. I've come in twice in the last few months for a small sandwhich and cup of soup for lunch. The first time I think I got a tuna sandwich and tomato soup. Most recently I got a veggie sandwich and tomato soup again. Everything has been quite tasty and hit the spot. Especially some hot tomato soup on a could day. Oh, and be sure to dip that piece of bread they give you on the side. Mmm, satisfying. For both visits I have placed my order online for pick up. Not much service to speak of when everything about that is pretty much automated. On my visit yesterday, though, there was a lady checking orders for accuracy. She saw me waiting and asked for my name. As soon as my order was ready and passed her inspection, she handed it to me personally. I'm not going to claim to be a Panera convert but this particular location has served me well. It is fairly quick and mostly convenient. The food has been satisfying. I had a really bad experience here while ordering - the team lead Mickel was extremely rude and dismissive. He rushed me through my order, and when he asked for a name for my order, I was momentarily distracted by a new menu item and accidentally started to give my phone number instead. Rather than politely clarifying, he nearly shouted at me, "I asked for a name for your order." Another staff member even laughed under their breath, which added to the embarrassment. He then threw me my receipt without saying "thank you," "enjoy," or any kind of courteous closing. This interaction made both me and even a friend (who was on FaceTime with me during the order) feel very uncomfortable. I don't expect over-the-top service, but I do expect a basic level of respect and professionalism, especially from someone in a leadership position. We were in Vegas for the volleyball tournament. 18 orders arrived right on time which was important for our athletes to keep fueled for their matches. Everyone enjoyed their box lunches (labeled with their names for easy distribution). The only thing missing was the chocolate chip cookies but probably better not to have it due to sugar crash. Since we joined the sip club ($11.99 for unlimited beverages all month, this includes most beverages there are a few exceptions) it just makes sense. There are kids crying everywhere in the morning at around 8:30-9 am, mostly from 2 local parents (who I believe are both single parents) who have the unlimited sip club. Their kids are wild, crying like crazy, and are unmanaged by their parents. Btw- the parents got into a verbal disagreement yesterday in the restaurant. No fault of Panera but something to be aware of if you are trying to get some quiet studying done. I have ordered in person and on the app. The service is very friendly. I usually order breakfast sandwiches. I like the chipotle chicken ($6.59) or the egg white, avocado sandwich ($6.59). Opt for the egg white one if you are on a diet. Both are good, but the chipotle chicken has more flavor. Be forewarned that if you need to use the restroom, get the code from the staff. read more

Love Panera and wish we had one in Hawaii. My sister and I both got the tomato basil soup in bread bowls, hubby got a different soup and my cousin settled for their signature burger. The cashier was sweet and after asking about the rewards program, she gave me a rewards card and instructed me on how to sign up. Unfortunately, my purchase didn't count towards the rewards points though. After purchasing, they'll give you a number that you put on your table and they'll bring your order to you. When we got our food, our soup was served in a regular bowl...we had to kindly tell the guy our order and showed our receipt that mentioned "bb" which is bread bowl. He said he couldn't put it in a bread bowl and said he could just bring the bread bowls out, which was fine. So my sister and I poured our soups in the bb. Food arrived over an hour after order was placed and the restaurant is a block away. Our hot sandwiches came cold as a deli sandwich: our Philly cheesesteaks were old tasting meat with very little cheese and meat. There were no onions or bell peppers. The sandwich was extremely bland, no flavor or seasoning at all. Do not recommend and will not come back. A simple breakfast sandwich order will take 3 times as long as the app says, and you will be left sitting and waiting for 10-15 minutes even after ordering ahead.
