Every time we find a reason to be in Vegas, we make it a point to stop by Nabe! It's always so busy whenever we come by, so make sure to account for at least an hour wait time! The store is pretty clean for how busy it gets. The servers are really good about clearing your table to make more room. The food is pretty good, especially for the price. Came here to see the hype since it's always pack... I think it's mid. If you're like me and care about both the food quality and service, both were okay. The service first off was okay. Not as attentive and had to look for our server to order more meat. The meat came out fast but when it comes to small requests we can only catch when they're walking to another table to order but no check ups on us. Gave us plastic cups for water but we had to wait and call again to ask for water. In terms of the food, the self serve area was so messy and dirty. The plates for the veggies and sauce were dirty, which another girl mentioned too so we both had to look through the plates to find a clean one but they were mainly dirty. Sushi was nice since the rice portions were small but it takes a while for them to make since it'll be most likely back ordered from other orders. Meat quality was not bad. The soup also took a while to heat up which doesn't save time with our time limit. Also if you care about loudness in a restaurant, when we came it was quite loud since it was a small space. Overall price is great but I would just save the wait time to visit another hotpot place for the same quality but cleaner food and faster service. This is a great place for some great food. First of all they have super friendly staff here and very helpful. They are fast in taking orders and bring food out. I love the seating here and the tables have room for two hot pot bowls. First your broth I got sukiyaki and miso both are very tasty. Order your meat selection and then you can go up and pick your vegetables and noodles, they have lots to choose from. When you get back they will have your meats awaiting you. Now get to cooking, we also ordered sushi and appetizers like gyoza, chicken karaage, honey chicken and some vegetable tempura. Try to pace yourself you can fill up fast, the food is hot and fresh all super tasty and the sushi is amazing. It's a well priced ayce but they forgot to cut corners The spot is large, clean, great service, and great food. Even parking is not bad for Chinatown. My only complaint is that there are only 2 restrooms so there's usually a line. Go early, it gets busy. We went at 6pm on a Friday and Sunday. I come here pretty much every time I'm in Vegas, and it never disappoints. I love the service, the quality of the meat, and all the appetizers they offer (they have sushi and that is already a plus). The soup broth is always good as well. This time I got the Nabe Signature and the beef broth and needless to say the Nabe Signature was definitely my favorite since it had a nice bit of spice that added more flavor. The meat selection is also really good, and I also really liked their sushi options, the fish tasted fresh and the flavor was on point. Overall, everything is consistent and worth it. I'm very surprised that Nabe Hotpot received such a high rating on Yelp. My experience here was below average at best. There's 8 of us and they offered us a booth seating. It's cramp and uncomfortable to sit here. It's also in front of the restroom. Not very appetizing. We ordered two pots and my friend found hair in her pot. We did informed the waiter and they apologized and offered to change the pot. All the sushi dishes come out very late. As if they don't want you to eat a lot of it. Or they are just very busy. It was full house for lunch. The broth is fine. You do have to get up and grab a few things from the bar such as noodles, vegetables and dipping sauces. Getting the waiters attention is difficult here. Some of the meat they can slice it thinner. It was thick and hard to chew. The music is also choppy. All we hear is static. We asked them to turn it off because it was getting really annoying to hear this the entire time. They said they will try to fix it but it's still the same. Overall, uncomfortable seating, atmosphere nowhere to be found, service is minimal and food is not worth it for me. read more

When the weather turns for the colder Nordic front in Vegas, the soul must turn to hot and steam food to nourish the spirit and keep alive the mind and the body!! Sure enough, we've read so many reviews and heard of this established restaurant in Chinatown and decided to visit tonight. Nabe HotPot was the place and it sure looks to be a good choice. Not too far from the main Spring Mountain Road, the restaurant is tucked into the side street. Plenty of parking along the front end of the establishment where if there isn't, you'll likely find one just around the corner from the place either way. Upon arrival, for a party of 5 at 4pm, the wait was about 30mins wait, which ended up only taking about 20minutes. As we entered the restaurant, the reception is right at the front entrance, with all of the ShabuShabu stations/table spread through the establishment. For the abrupt few minutes upon entry, I counted about 7-8 booths along the side of the window sill seated up to 6, there are 13 standalone tables seating separate parties of up to 6, and there are 2 booths toward the rear of the restaurant, next to the restrooms, with jus a male and female single room use. The AYCE price during the weekends and holidays is $33.99 per person, while the weekdays are about $14.99. The price is definitely merit of Las Vegas high-rolling. Now, if that price does not chimed with your bells, you are more than welcome to venture to other facets of Vegas' Hot Pot experience. The majority of meats are well portioned and just about right, allowing you to cook the meat and enjoy a slice conversion with friends or family while you wait. The selection of soup is just fascinated varied from their signature "Nabe" to the plain and simple Miso. Compared to most Chinese Hot Pot, this is very mild and tasty as great. The sauce and veggie station has a variety to choose from, varied from Bok Chou to limited Seafood selection. This place is definitely a fantastic place to dine for the few of the masses. The dishes served here were good, a litte on the "eh" side for some. I really enjoyed their broths, they had so much flavor in them. I especially loved the seafood broth because it literally tasted like a bag of seafood boil. They had fresh veggies and a sauce station set up on the side of the restaurant, and food came out quickly. Meats were good, not a whole bunch of selection. I was surprise to find a good $37 for ayce hotpot and sushi! My party of 6 meal cost almost as much as dinner for 2 at Peter Luger and everyone walked away full and happy. Epic food coma. I love the 2 different broths you can get and the grab your own veggies, noodles and seafood. Wish the meat and sushi comes out quicker, but I get that they're busy. The baked green mussel was very oily, but good. The dynamite was good initially, but we got tired of it quickly. There was too much bread with the pang. The shit was good, a little too spicy though. The addicting cucumber was definitely addicting. It was so good, we looked up how to make it when we left. For the hot pot, we got the Beef (Brisket Broth) and Seafood (Garlic Shellfish) broths. Both broths were extremely salty. The "salad bar" for the broth was constantly being refilled. The octopus was surprisingly good. The bok choy went well in the soup. We tried all the meat, and still liked the boneless lamb shoulder the best. They limited the premium items one order per person. The creamy sashimi bowl tasted better than the Korean sashimi bowl. Salmon carpaccio, yellowtail carpaccio, and albacore carpaccio came in pair and were delicious. The seared bluefin tuna also came in pair, but didn't taste fresh. The deep-fried buttered scallop was too heavy and not good. We also tried the fresh water eel sushi and it was not as good as we remembered. They usually give out ice cream in the end, but they said the factory that dispensed their ice cream burned down. So we got either a mango or strawberry mochi. By far one of my favorite AYCE spots in Las Vegas. If you want really good Japanese hot pot, this is the place. The broths are incredibly tasty- we went with Seafood and loaded it up with shrimp, octopus, squid, clams, calamari, and rice noodles. We also tried the Miso broth, adding egg, mushrooms, bok choy, and cilantro, and it came out rich and comforting. We kept it simple with the sushi: Philadelphia rolls and smoked salmon nigiri, both fresh and solid. The side dishes were the perfect pairing- gyozas, honey mustard fried chicken, seaweed salad, shrimp tempura... everything hit just right.The ambiance was nice too. Even with a full table of friends, we were able to enjoy great conversation and great food without feeling rushed. They have two formulas; a lunch special at a lower price that doesn't include Sashimi and appetizers, and an All Day special that includes everything. I feel bad saying this after a glowing review last time. I feel as if they are short staffed or they are getting too many customers and can't service everyone as before. Our last visit was not a great as we had experienced the other times we were there. Same quality food though, still love their sushi and their hot pot. Their service is super slow and the waitress was not taking our orders even when we had no food left on the table. Took her forever to come take our orders even after we asked and it another century for it to come to our table. It made our experience here disappointing. Husband was so unhappy with this dinning experience. The five of us sat there and waited for our hot pot meat and sushi orders and decided that we would find other options next time. We came here labor day weekend and it was amazing! The value is very good for $34 a person for AYCE hot pot and sushi. We ordered tons of food and were so stuffed! Hot pot- The hot pot meats came out really quickly and the portions are about 4 slices which I really limed because there are so many things to try so we ordered a lot. The hot pot bar is pretty good and had most of vegetables, fish balls, and seafood items that we wanted including oyster mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, bok choy, napa cabbage, lotus root, shrimp, clams, crab, and roe filled fish balls. The sauce bar was a little on the sparse side but had key flavors like soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame sauce, garlic, and green onion. There were also two hot foods- fried rice and braised beef. I got the braised beef and I enjoyed it. For our broth, we got the tonkotsu and house spicy which were both above our expectations. The appetizers were also really good. There was a variety of options which we enjoyed including a cucumber salad, takoyaki, and even fried soft shelled crab! Sushi- I love how they had carpaccio and other specials! With all the food there was, the sushi was generous with the fish and did not have too much rice. They have normal rolls and tons of different special rolls which looked really good. The fish was good quality and tasted fresh. The buttered scallops were battered and fried which overwhelmed the scallop which was a bit disappointing, but other wise, everything else was amazing. Towards the end of your time limit, they let you know you can place one more order which is a nice heads up. The service was good and the waiters were nice. After visited some friends in the area, we wanted some real delicious comfort foods and was on a search since all the restaurants on the strips hotel closes after 10pm. We knew that Chinatown has all the best asian cuisine on the block, especially after 10pm, and nothing beats AYCE shabu shabu and sushi so we wanted to give them a try since it's like 102 degrees in Vegas lol. The decor is very inviting and fun, and our servers Maria, Marc, and Lee were very friendly and intentive. Since it was our first time here, she helped guided us through some of the hidden gems on the menu, and gave us great tips on how to maximize our consumption. It's a must for us. Again, 100°+ in Vegas but we didn't care. Ever since we booked our flight, Nabe was at the top of our list. I've already been here twice before, each time satisfied my cravings. Depending when you go... it could be a little wait and they don't have a waiting area inside. We've gotten pretty lucky each time. This last visit was probably my "longest" wait so far (15-20mins)-- not bad. The restaurant isn't huge, but they've got a good amount of tables/booths in there. It did get a little warm at one point, granted we are sitting in front of a stove top basically... hotpot, duh. Dim-ish lighting. It's a nice restaurant but it's not "fancy" either. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. This is an AYCE so they are pretty good about coming back and asking if we'd like to order more food, and refilling our waters/drinks-- I take note of refills vividly-- it's important. There is a side bar with all the noodle options, veggies, garnishes, sauces, etc... whatever you need for your hotpot. You place the meat/seafood orders with your server, as well as drinks. Yes, this is a hotpot place, but I am a big sushi head and they've got some good sushi options here... especially the nigiri. The Super White Tuna is our fave -- such good flavor... and of course, the Salmon & Yellowtail (one order comes with 2pcs). Fresh! Their rolls are good too. We've gone through a few options but this last time we just got the Lemon Salmon roll and the Golden Tiger... and tried the premium item: the towering sashimi. I expected it to be an actual tower/stack but it was just laid out with the fish+ on top. Good but not a winner (or we were just stuffed by then). Now... the hotpot. We picked the Nabe Signature (spicy pork) broth, and the Miso broth. Both were good but we all actually preferred the miso broth more-- we also made our own spicy dipping sauces from those provided at the side bar. We tossed everything (noodles/veggies/meat/seafood) into both sides of the broth pot and let it cook while we enjoyed the sushi in the mean time. We definitely grabbed more than our stomachs could handle-- but man were we satisfied. Don't forget to leave a tiny little space in that belly of yours for the ice cream! Our favorite hot pot place because we can get hot pot and sushi in the same place. They just rolled out their new menu update friday 8/22/2025 and the sushi variety section got smaller. There are different offerings such as rhe carpaccio's, but it is the same slice of fish with an onion, jalapeno, and tomato relish on top. No more of our favorite ikura, and eel offerings. The seafood offerings also got smaller, but at least the crab is available to serve yourself at the buffet area. The fried scallop is a good addition. We came here for a late lunch on a Thursday and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of the sushi and hot pot vegetable bar. We only got a couple of sushi rolls - lobster roll, california roll, and salmon nigiri - we thought these were good. We ordered beef broth and the spicy pork broth and it was decent. It wasn't too salty and both broths paired well with the vegetables and beef. The veggies were all super fresh. I think the only thing I didn't like was the toughness of the beef...it wasn't thin enough and certain parts were really tough. Even the slices that are supposed to be soft was hard to bite through sometimes, so that was a bummer. At $29-something per person (juneteenth meant weekend price), we thought it was worth it. Drinks are a separate charge. Service was a bit strange to me b/c there were only 2 people walking with ipads that could order food for tables...and that is for a restaurant with more than 20+ tables. There's definitely room for improvement, but the experience wasn't terrible. I'd only recommend this place to the people who like more of a chew to their sliced meat and/or people who like ayce sushi. I think their sushi is pretty decent b/c the rice-to-fish ratio is excellent. The kitchen staff were quick to crank out appetizers and sushi. read more

After years of coming here and bringing countless friends to partake in their goodness, they have really started to go downhill from what it used to be. They are still busy and often have a considerable wait on weekends and prime dinner time, though they no longer occupy the upper tier of AYCE hot pot options in Vegas. On our last visit, we waited about 35 min. on a weekend evening and were left disappointed after our meal. The service is still attentive at most times, even when a full house, where they have noticeably cut back is the food/quality. Some of the meats were not fresh and noticeably aged, and not in a good way. Others were tough and fattier than ideal for the cuts. Even the quality of the simpler filler appetizers left a bit to be desired. The self service bar was messy to put it nicely as many items needed to be restocked or just looked unappetizing and their selection of seafood was not as robust as other hotpot locations. The sauce bar was a complete fail as they put most items in bottles that were sticky/leaking or a mix of both, which made it challenging to even make your own sauce. If you never been, Nabe still provides a good assortment of options beyond just hotpot, though with the multitude of options in Las Vegas, there are much better options out there within the same price point. read more

When it rains in Vegas, it doesn't stop the party but hot pot is much needed. My friend and I stopped in around 2pm for lunch and excited in eat in the Chinatown area. I was a little skeptical with it being AYCE but the breakdown of everything from hot pot to premium sushi rolls in great. Our server was very helpful and friendly with any questions or additional items we would want. We went with the two popular broths - garlic seafood and beef broth. Both broths were flavorful with the garlic seafood being a little more robust as the beef broth was lighter in flavor. We both ordered similar things like the seafood combo plate that consist of shrimp and crab which were both fresh. The sushi rolls were huge and very fresh. The yellowtail was buttery and not fishy tasting at all. However once you get your broth order in, you can go pick out your toppings from bok choy to noodles to different types of mushrooms. But the standout sauce is the garlic ponzu sauce. I wish I could've bottled that up to take back to Florida. Also, at the end of it - you are offered ice cream. We were too full and needed to be rolled out. I will definitely be back when I return to Vegas. read more

I had such a great experience that I almost wanted to gatekeep this place -- but credit is due where it's earned. Went here for $34, which is an amazing deal considering it includes appetizers, sushi rolls, carpaccio, and hot pot. The meat quality was excellent, and I did a couple of rounds including seafood -- everything was fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the vegetable and mushroom selection, which really rounded out the meal. What truly elevated the experience was our server, Michael. He was absolutely fantastic -- super pleasant, attentive, and gave great recommendations without being pushy. You can tell he genuinely wants guests to have a great experience, and that makes such a difference. Between the food quality, value, and outstanding service, this place is definitely going into my regular rotation. Will 100% be coming back -- and hoping Michael is working when I do. read more

My husband and I always visit Nabe when we are visiting Vegas! We found this gem for the first time in 2020! We are surprised that after all these years, the quality is even better!!! They have definitely expanded their menu for such a great price! It is $28 all day on the weekends. I will definitely say that the servers were all so kind! They were attentive in asking if we needed anything! They even ordered us some different sushi to try that they recommended. Great service! We enjoyed the sukiyaki and tonkatsu broths! Both so delicious for the meat and veggies! Our favorite meats were the short rib and tender shoulder. The sushi was soooo good also!!! We enjoyed the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail! There is a full sushi and appetizer menu to order from! It also comes with a seafood plate (crab, shrimp, mussels, etc). But we didn't not order it because I'm allergic. I've tried this restaurant twice, once in 2023 and again last month. Both times I had the same underwhelming experience. The broth options were bland, the meat selection was satisfactory, and the sushi was mediocre albeit I only tried one roll before I decided to stop ordering them again. The service was fast, but they weren't busy when I ate here on a Thursday afternoon. The sauce selection is one of the most important items in a hotpot restaurant and they were missing Shacha sauce (Chinese BBQ sauce). They did however have a good chili oil and fresh minced garlic. The only reason I happened to stumble upon this restaurant again was because of the raving reviews and I completely forgot I had been here before. If I were you, I would try some place else for hotpot. read more
