Competition at DTC is pretty tough with so many different restaurants but it was pretty busy during a lunch hour. Everyone was super friendly and helped me to decide what to get. He got all the way home before we realized it was the wrong order (he didn't want to open bag & let food get cold). He went back to Panera...but they had just closed & were not answering phones. We were staying at a local hotel and came here at breakfast. We got here at 9:00, and they were out of almost everything. The guy at the register (who was so over being there by his demeanor) said someone came by at 6:30 and bought all of the soufflés and bagels. First of all, how rude was that (?). I would have told them that they needed to have put in a special order for those quantities. If the manager was thinking he wanted to sell no matter to whom, he should have considered the potential loss of future customers. They had literally 15 bagels left. After he took the customers order before us he took off his dirty hat and ran his fingers thru his hair , then got their sweets in the case. So traveling across country stopped in drive thru on June 8, 2019 at 10:40 am. Ordered toasted chicken salad sandwich. Opened it up and the way THIS Panera does this sandwich is they put tomato, and chicken sandwich thru their toasting process, I.e. toasting ovens . So you get a drippy wet tomato lettuce and warm chicken salad. When I called manager politely informs me this is the way we do it all day everyday so we know what we are doing. The tables are sticky, even after I ask them to wipe down a table, because for some reason, first thing in the morning there's food crumbs in the tables and seats as well as food pieces in the floor. On several occasions I've found this location poorly maintained inside. An hour after opening and the coffee dispensers are missing. Recently I tried the drive thru on a Sunday which claims to open at 7 online and posted on the door. I stay at the speaker for a few minutes before pulling around to find an employee knocking on the drive thru window. I asked if the drive thru was not pressing, her response, "I don't think we're open yet, I'm locked out the front". I pull around to park and wait a few minutes while they gather themselves to open. The female employee comes to tell a gentlemen in his car next to me, "we're opening at 7:30 again," so are they adjusting posted hours based on the time they arrive to work?
