I used the drive through at 2:30pm. This is not meal time, they were not busy and had plenty of people working. I did not get all of my order. The strawberry salad I did get was awful. For almost $13 no chicken (they charge you for it even if you do not get chicken) and some of the fruit was very gooey and questionable. We called about the missing part of our order and the person said, "there is nothing we can do" and hung up on me. This is after 20 minutes of trying to get through the person just hung up. Usuallly never had a problem here though I just ordered a whole Napa chicken salad sandwich with a cup of soup and was told they were out of the bread it comes with ... ok so I switch it for some other bread. I ordered take out ... so got home only to find the sandwich I got had one slice of chicken .. I had brought it home and when I was eating it the spinach in the spinach bacon salad tasted Frozen and all the lettuce is kind of wet and witly I'm just wondering if for the drive-thru they have half salads already pre-made in the freezer? Ordered online for delivery. 30 minutes late. During Coronavirus, they left at door. Two items missing. Driver is gone. Called the store five times. No one picked up. I ordered online and it arrived about 30-40 minutes later, just like it said it would! I am pleased with the service. The delivery boy was nice and was a quick exchange. I am pleased with the 2 chocolate chip cookies I ordered and the mac n cheese with chips. However, it was almost $15 just for a kids order and a chip. And the cookies were about $2.50. Well they wouldn't answer the phone when I tried to call and speak to someone instead of this. One of your delivery drivers in a tan/goldish SUV just did a turn from the Meijer side to get back to Panera on 26th and pulled directly out into traffic. If anyone had been on their phones or not able to slam on their brakes when they did this, my 8 month old daughter, myself, and my husband would probably be dead. Not a good way to advertise with Panera's sign on top of the car. I reported it to the police also. This is why people die! Why would you pull out into 3 lanes of full incoming traffic? Come here occasionally for coffee in the morning. Usually only one person at the counter. If someone orders a dozen bagels she has to slice them, bag them and get the cream cheese etc. while everyone behind is waiting. if they want some bakery products it takes even longer while she wraps them indvidually and puts them in a bag. Do not understand why there is no self serve kiosk available. It is the only Panera I have ever been to without a kiosk and could use one more than most of the others who usually have at least two people behind the counter. I have seen lines to the door on many occasions even at non rush hour times. 3 By the way I have noticed that the same lone overworked counter person also has to fill the coffee pots and creamers which are out of coffee and cream more than they are full. Also have noticed the same cars parked in tne prime spots near the entrance all day. I assume that they are owned by employees as I have been by the in the morning and they are still parked there when I return from work in the evening, making it inconvient for customers especially in the winter months. read more

I visited the 14121 Hall Road, Shelby Township MI 48315 location on 2/21/2022. The employee, Traci was extremely rude from the minute I pulled up to the drive thru. Her tone of voice sounded irritated from the beginning of me placing an order. I asked a couple questions and she acted like I was bugging her. I added more to my order and she replied "Holy cow, this is a big order." I was ordering food for 4 people. I asked a question about whether a specific sandwich was available in the You Pick Two. She answered my question then continued to say, " Do you want it or not?" I did walk into the restaurant and informed the manager about how rude she was. Unfortunately, after multiple visits, each has been disappointing. I even contacted Panera from their website and shared my experience, receiving no response. So, now it's time for a Yelp review because I try and resolve the problem before posting a negative review. Each time I've been there (lunch time), there has been a bread, meat, or salad not available. The service has also been questionable, cashiers with dirty hands- visible dirty finger nails and coming from the back to help at registers. The last and final visit, they told us they only had soup and Mac and cheese, because they were under staffed and did not have enough people to make the sandwiches or salads. Got there and there was a sign on the door that said "closed until 11/14" which would lead one to believe that they would be open today, 11/14. NOBODY WAS THERE. We called and the message assured us they are open. We tapped on the drive-thru window. No response. No way to leave a message when you call. They have been a joke every time I've gone. After long wait, a simple order was mixed up not once but twice causing me to be "that guy" holding up other cars in line. I wished I had a sign that stated: "it's NOT me I promise.....believe me I wanted to be back home by now" And...... once home, the bagels still were unsliced and I was over charged a promo item they were suggesting at the window. They gave me a story about a driver's car breaking down and said a manager was delivering it right away. I frequent this Panera often, I used to study here for a living. The last time my husband went through the drive-thru they gave me the wrong sandwich. I let it go, I still got a sandwich so I ate that one. Today I went in and ordered to go. I got home and realized I was missing a soup. So I called and spoke to Colton. Very nice young man (nothing I've ever said has made me feel so old). He asked me to come back and he would give me a larger soup to replace the one missing.
