I would rate this a zero, but I didn't have the option. Firstly, no lights on outside the establishment gave a horrible atmosphere right off the bat. I should have taken it as a sign to return to my vehicle. Secondly, the B team must have been blocked in on this Saturday night because not a single employee had a pep in their step. I just want to say thank you! I am someone who Door Dashes as a part time gig and the people that work at this location are great! I just want you to know how much I appreciate the fact that you offer Door Dash drivers a fountain beverage when we come in to deliver your food. Many businesses these days are getting more and more "annoyed" when we come in to pick up our food, especially if they're running short staffed or behind. More and more are even refusing to let us use their public restrooms. I understand there are "dirty/disrespectful" people that enter your businesses, but just because there's a mess in the restroom doesn't mean it was us. The reason you're making the money off that order is because you had a 3rd party company come in and deliver it for you.... Today was a 94° day in Detroit with severe weather earlier. My vehicle's air just went out and I'm hoping to get it fixed next week. I had to pick up an order today and the girl at the register was so welcoming. She offered me a cold beverage and when I thanked her and told her I didn't have air she even offered me an extra cup on her own to take ice with me.... They lied about it in the court of law, I never got justice. They claim they care about employees, guests, shareholders, but they threw me away like used equipment. I had to relearn how to walk, I was trapped in a bed for years, I wouldn't recover from memory loss or brain fog for 4 years, and I have to spend the rest of my life with a chronic illness now with no remorse for this company responsible for it because they disobeyed lockdown laws and welfare of our community. On Tuesday my sister-in-law and I decided to try this place since its located across the street where she works. We missed the grand opening but we figured it wouldn't be to crowded, since this location opens at 11:00 a.m. We saw a few cars already with customers eating, so with her 1 hour time for lunch we knew we could order, eat and chat without being rushed. Upon walking in we stopped to view the Menu wall on the left before placing our order at the counter. If you wish to order a protein in your bowl the price is extra. I attached photos of the menu to understand the choices and options. There are 2 sizes and prices for the bowls. I feel the price is perfect since no matter what the Noodle Bowl choice, added flavor or ingredients you will get a lot for the money and leftovers too ? I saw two male employees working in the back cooking already and a female employee walking around delivering fresh and hot bowls of Noodle dishes to other waiting customers in booths. She also was checking on customers while eating and was quick to remove empty bowls from tables. After deciding, we were greeted with a smile by Nicholas working the counter as the host (says it on bill too) and placed our two orders with him. He was very helpful since it was her 1st visit about extra toppings or spices. He gave us 2 large plastic drinking cups to fill, along with a plastic card/ order Number 25 to display on our table while our Noodle bowls were being specially prepared from scratch for lunch. The restaurant style and atmosphere reminds me of Panda Express. The temperature felt very cold in there maybe due to the open ceiling or the heat was still being circulating throughout. My only 1 complaint = The music was very loud inside and I noticed other dining guests talking loud to speak to each other while eating. The beverage area and "real silverware" was nice and clean. I chose the Honey Iced Tea and my sister-in-law needed help with her Coke at the self serve plus many options pop machine. Of course I assisted her and told her its not rocket science, but then she doesn't get out for lunch much. We chatted for about 10 minutes while excited and looking forward to our hot and fresh noodle bowls. My Small bowl of Zucchini Truffle Mac was DEEElicious from the presentation to the cooked Zucc pasta noodles, plenty of creamy sauce, black truffle mushrooms and parmesan cheese. The final topping bread crumbs. My sister-in-law loved her Wisconsin Mac & Cheese with the creamy cheesy flavors since (she ate safe). We both can't wait to come back and try a new Noodle Bowl based on the carryout menus we took with us. We were not told about the rewards program or app on our phones therefore we hope to sign up next time. I also did not see a Manager walking around either to chat with and explain to us the program, maybe next time. Sorry I forgot to check out the ladies restroom for comment since I did not need to use. I did complete, submit my comments with the survey that was printed on my receipt about my experience and reasonably priced lunch. I used to come here for lunch break during class. To be honest, I only ever ordered the buttered noodles. So, I ordered chicken noodle soup because I could not eat anything from Strep. We looked at the menu in the car, and my boyfriend decided to order the regular Japanese Pan Noodles with Steak and small Spicy Peanut Saute. I ordered the small buttered noodles and chicken noodle soup. So, we had a few issues with this place. We live exacty 8 minutes away from this restaurant. My soup when I got home was hot, and delicious (a plus side). Bad thing was that it was a bit salty and oily from the added cooked chicken. My noodles were good, but dry considering it was BUTTERED noodles? At least they were seasoned. My boyfriend's Pan Noodles were not hot, they were a bit cold. It definetely needed to be a lot warmer. I understand we drove home, but it should not have been that cold in only 8 minutes. Also, the container was barely filled... my photos show a huge gap of space in the regular container. We noticed that it was the EXACT same amount as the SMALL spicy saute. The same amount of food, yet we paid more? I'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed this. They charge more for regular, yet it looked like it had the same amount as small. For $9 my boyfriend expected a bit of a bigger serving. The spicy saute had a good taste, but it had an interesting chalky taste. My boyfriend said it was delicious with the sweet taste of the peanut sauce, but the chalkiness was a bit offputting. I gave this a 3 star, but I consider it a 2.5ish. The price you pay is not worth the amount of food you get. Also, I am not pleased with the idea that we paid more for regular and got the same portion as a small. This was a bit upsetting. The cold food was not acceptable as well. Asian Noodles, Yaki Soba noodles: noodles were a bit ala dente, not your typical Japanese preparation time. The sauce was tangy and sweet. Great blended flavor, having that slightly traditional soy taste. The accompanying julienne carrots and shreds of broccoli worked great to call it an "Asian" noodle dish. I had the noodles with the suggested steak. It worked well; tender generous slices of beef. The dish lacked presentation. The noodles were piled to one side and the steak appeared to be an afterthought; pushed off to one side. Side Salad: great balsamic vinegar dressing. The location is in a very busy area, and the service is pretty good. I usually go with the stroganoff and my son always gets the mac and cheese. I thought i'd try something different and went with the zoodle truffle mac. It was a little bit of a flop for me. The zoodles were kind of mushy and the sauce was kind of watered down. My son's mac and cheese also looked really runny. Normally, we usually have a great experience here and love the food. Maybe it was just an off day? But I really wasn't that happy. This is the newest Noodles in the metro Detroit area, and I came here tonight for a blogger tasting/event. We tried out a TON of their dishes, including the new spicy Korean beef dish, and all were really good. I'm not even a "mac 'n cheese person" but their new mac 'n cheeses were delicious - surprisingly, my favorite was the cheeseburger one, and I don't eat cheeseburgers that much. On Wednesday November 4th, 2020 at approximately 2: 40 p.m. My gf and I came in for a late lunch. We order 6 potstickers, Regular Penne Rosa Parm chicken, Alfredo Parm chicken with no mushrooms and 2 fountain drinks. The best part of our meal was the soda. Both pieces of chicken in each pasta were incredibly Well done. Pot stickers were so greasy and smelled like a dirty grill. There was slimy dirty chucks of grill residue coating the pot stickers. Initially a young man started to take my order and when he responded "I think so" when I asked if they used REAL butter, he knew he wasn't going to be able to handle "me" and all my inquiries, so he fetched Marissa to field my questions. Marissa personally prepared my meal after hearing my preferences, and it was delicious. I'm grateful she gave us such personal service, since we found ourselves at her establishment wanting comfort food while we (myself & my siblings) waited for my Mom to get thru her surgery down the street at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. I asked the employee up front what size the small vs large bowls would be so I could dete what size we'd all want. We ordered 2 small bowls of pesto cavatappi and 2 other bowls of food. There were only 12 cavatappi noodles in each bowl which could be eaten in 3 bites. I went back to the counter and said "my mistake that I thought the bowls would be more full, can I pay to upgrade to the larger size & maybe you could just give us a little bit more in each bowl?" The employee asked the manager and they wanted to charge me for entirely new meal. This place is WAY overpriced for 12 noodles. And the pesto sauce looks awful & drenches the noodles it's disgusting. I was happy to find the offer of zucchini noodles as an option for being health conscientious! Each bowl has two size options. I went with the large, probably not enough for larger appetites. Down a couple of large "self serve" waters at the fancy coca-cola fandangled machine on top of eating your bowl and you will feel full! I had the spicy Thai bowl, comes with chicken. Cost was about $10. Most bowls do not come with "protein". That is your choice of adding for extra charge. My bowl, or shall I clarify, the food in my bowl was delicious! Full of delicious flavorful veggies. There is appetizers, soup and delicious looking Mac and cheese. You will find a house brand powdered spice medley to zest it up as well as siracha sauce next to the soda pop machine. That's the spot to also find the expensive looking wooden chopsticks. Staff was pleasant, order at the counter and grab a number where food will be delivered to your table. Staff stopped by often to make sure all is well and take any plates if needed. I was informed there is a Noodles and Company app where you receive a discount on your first order as well as points towards food. This was my second time here and I was very excited they now have a zoodles option! I had the zoodles romesco and it was amazing. My love had the zoodles Thai peanut dish. Both were excellent. They have so many options to choose from. You can pick your own protein to add if wanted, I did mine with just veggies. You can do zoodles instead of noodles in any dish. Noodles and company is a franchised chain and has grown popularity recently. My wife received a bogo free coupon via email so we decided to check it out. The premise of the business is a quasi fast food/cafeteria/restaurant. You place your order, pay for it, then sit down and someone will serve your meal once it's prepared. All dishes are prepared fresh and made to order. The menu has pre-defined dishes, but also allows you to customize them. You can also create your own by selecting a starch (type of noodle), a protein, vegetables, sauces and spices. They boast a large variety of noodles from traditional flour based (spaghetti, bow tie, penne, macaroni, etc.) to pad thai (rice noodles), to Pan (Japanese) noodles. Sauces and spices also cover the globe from fresco, to pesto and curry! Other menu items included appetizers (meatballs, pot stickers, garlic bread), soups, and salads (not customizable -- is that even a word?). There is also a limited kids menu of pre-selected entrees. You get to pick two sides and a drink; all for $5, which in my opinion, offers good value if you have little ones. Being our first time, we decided to go with some of their signature and most popular items. I opted for the Steak Stroganoff and my wife selected the Spicy Korean Beef noodles. We opted up to add a side for a nominal charge. I had a side Caesar salad and my wife had the Thai curry soup. When the food arrived, it looked and smelled great. Taste, to my delight, was not a disappointment! All pastas are cooked exactly how we like it, al dente (a consistency that is firm to the bite). Both dishes were a little lacking as the protein/vegetable to starch ratio was off, but the flavours made up for it. My side Caesar was nothing special, but the Thai curry soup was good. It was a toned down version from authentic Thai Curry; while it was lacking coconut milk (a staple in Thai soups), the cumin was not overpowering and neither was the heat from the chilies. The portion was appropriate if not a little on the generous side, and the prices are very competitive considering the dish (the prices are amazing if you have a bogo free coupon!). Our meal came to just over $10 for both (the bogo free coupon rememeber) and we had enough for lunch the next day. Overall, I think Noodles and Company has all the right ingredients for success! A fresh, made to order concept, with unlimited combinations of flavours with the create your own, at a price that's very reasonable and fair. This was my first visit to this particular Noodles location. It's a newer restaurant located on the once horrendous Hall Road. The masses can now rest easy as they drive on the single road in Michigan worth driving on. The best part is, you can enjoy some Noodles whilst on your trek. This restaurant sponsored an event for my son's school where 50% of their revenue for the night went to the school. That's super cool. This event brought a rather large crowd that wanted nothing less than a bowl full of Noodles to fill their empty bellies. I was surprised at the quickness in which we were served our food. The staff knew how to handle a crowd. My pesto cavatappi was spot on. I think their pesto is some of the best on the market. Trust me, I took 7 years of pesto classes. I'm a pesto doctor. I usually add parmesan crusted chicken on top. The chicken has this delicious crust on the outside but it's super tender on the inside. Seriously, next time you get some Noods you better get that chicky chicky parm parm. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was actively cleaning up and making room for more folks pouring in. We have been here twice. Both times were very slow. Fast casual style with slower than fancy restaurant service. First time the missed the meat being added to a bowl. By the time it came out the rest of us were done eating. Both times we ordered dishes with cilantro. The just put a whole peace of cilantro in worth big stems and very little leaves. Tons of noodles with very little meat. This last time our food took 45 minutes. They did bring the kid's food out first but they were done eating before ours came out. The flavor of the food was good. I'll at least give them that. Service.... Never again read more

I've been to other Noodles and Company locations so I knew what to expect. So, when they opened a new location on Hall Road in Macomb Township, I thought it would be a nice addition to the Hall Road Restaurant Corridor. With yesterday's "National Macaroni and Cheese Day", Noodles and Company offered a free small Macaroni and Cheese with every regular size entrée. I decided to try their Pad Thai with Tofu, and a side order of their Thai Chicken Soup. I had been at this location during their "Grand Opening" and had their Spaghetti and Meatballs entrée when they first opened and it was average, nothing spectacular. But this for this visit, it was a huge disappointment! The Thai Chicken Soup was warm at best, tasted like thicken lime gravy, less than 3 ounces in size. But, on a positive note; they gave me lots of oyster crackers which I didn't use. The main entree, Pad Thai with Tofu seemed like someone warmed up some flat white noodles, poured some canned Pad Thai sauce, added a slice of lime, and sprinkled some crushed peanuts. The fried Tofu had a rubbery texture and virtually tasteless. The entrée was so bland that it was almost inedible It was BAD, BAD, BAD! But even worst, their free self-proclaimed award winning "Macaroni and Cheese" was just some macaroni with a little Kroger brand cheese sauce that barely covered the noodles. It was not creamy as advertised, instead the cheese sauce was watery and looked awful. My advice to Noodles and Company; either train your chefs better or have your "Quality Control" department visit this location. Very, very, very disappointed! I will give this location a "One Star" because the interior is bright and colorful, and the girl that took my order is very professional and upbeat.
