My go-to place for "fast" food. Food quality is consistent and what you would expect from any Panera. Love that you can easily customize your order if you don't like an ingredient or want extra of something. I usually order on the app or the in-store kiosk, but any employees I do come in contact with are usually pleasant and helpful if you need something. I'm a Sip Club member so I pop in often just to get a beverage and it's a quick in and out. Other reviews have had issues with cleanliness, but I have never noticed that this store was in need of cleaning, it always appears pretty well put together whenever I've been there. Parking lot is a bit small for when it's busy. Can't wait until they move to the new location currently being built on the old TGI Friday's property, it will have lots more parking and a drive through!

I got a salad at this location during lunch hour and found what looks like giant bug wings and a leg in my salad. Thankfully I didn't swallow them as it tasted weird in my mouth. Definitely won't be going back as this was my first time visiting since my last sub-par visit. The only positive thing that happened during my stay was the manager refunding my order.

Dirty restaurant even off peak, long waits, inconsistent food, usually out of stock the good stuff. Some staff more pleasant than others, cooks don't look happy. I wish you could still get your own cup now I had to wait 15 minutes for my coffee cup with my food. As with all fast food be sure to check the bag before you leave. Panera was the go-to before the pandemic.

Fantastic food, and wonderful service. Quiet expensive but worth the price. Comfortable seating. If you are military (Ft Drum) this is a good break from the military, especially after field exercises. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Seating is comfortable with cozy lighting.

i know this might be shocking, but this was my first time ever eating at panera bread, so forgive me for stating what many probably already know. i got the bread bowl with broccoli cheddar soup and it was amazing! the bread was perfect. the soup was perfect. the soup in the bread... perfect :D now i know why it's such a staple, and i plan on stopping by to try out more stuff.

It's a typical Panera. Food is as you would expect. Only issue is that the dishes and flatware are not always clean.

I love their soups and french bread way too much! It's a little pricey, but worth it.

I eat at Paneras all over the country. This one was very disappointing. Black bean soup very watery and tasteless.

I was afraid it would be packed before others also went to the garage sale. The sampler breakfast plate had a little of everything, and the pancake was huge and fluffy! Honestly my favorite part. The vintage diner feel was cozy, and the Coca-Cola light fixtures were unique. Each table also had its own vintage jukebox. We came on a busy Sunday morning, but got lucky and were sat right away. From the beginning, and throughout our experience, the staff were very friendly. Our sever brought us drinks within minutes, and we were able to put in our orders pretty quick. Like I said, it was a busy Sunday, so it took awhile for us to receive our food. But this gave my wife and I time to talk, and enjoy the ambiance. I ordered the breakfast lasagna (had never seen this before) with white toast and a side of corned beef hash. When the food came out, it was warm and fresh. The breakfast lasagna had a nice flavor from the peppers and onions and meats that were baked inside. The base was made from what seemed like mashed potatoes which threw me off a little, but wasn't bad. The toast had a good toast to it, and was nicely buttered. I am a corned beef hash lover, and Shorty's was pretty good! The flavors meshed well together and the texture was great. My wife ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits which was not great. The sausage gravy was lacking flavor, with the main taste being cream. The sausage within the gravy was cut up sausage links, and for myself and my wife at least, we prefer ground sausage. Lastly, the biscuits were nothing to write home about. They were not bad but they didn't wow. Overall, I gave Shorty's a three because the food didn't wow me. There was not anything wrong with the food we had at all, and we will probably be back in the future to try some of their other food. Otherwise, my wife and I also loved the feel of the diner itself.

During my brief time at Fort Drum I couldn't stand eating on post, so I sought out a healthy alternative. This location is conveniently located along a busy thoroughfare in a major commercial district. I walked in went straight to the counter as it wasn't busy. Think of a Chipoltle setup as far as the arrangement of the toppings, but with an emphasis on whole grains and vegetables. They offer a variety of creative bowls consisting of base options such as purple rice, quinoa, and rice noodles, with toppings that include chicken, tuna, and sweet potatoes. Additionally, they have broths, smoothies, and even tacos. Being at peace with my decision, I selected the Buddah Bowl, a delicious assortment of sweet potatoes, spinach, quinoa, black beans, red salsa, and chick peas! It was delicious, hearty, and filling and best of all - it was all for less than $10.

The flavors are always very differnet. I had a hibiscus tea last time and it was delightful, just watch for sugar content.
