Being in town for a week working, it was nice to find this shop early. I rarely go to a shop in a new town this many times. This is a very clean, unassuming shop that clearly is focused on their customer and their craft. Everything on the menu sounded appealing and I was happy to have some locals around to share their favorites and narrow it down for me. I loved every soup of the day that I had, loved every sandwich/wrap that I tried, and I found myself wanting to try something new in town but being unable to. I had to come back day after day. This is a great place that I plan to revisit anytime I'm in town. read more

The Diablo Sandwich is a favorite of mine and this is really the size of two sandwiches. This is a great place to get a cup of coffee, a latte or any of their signature drinks. Their specials are always listed on their Facebook page and that was the choice today for the hubs and I. Both were delicious, The Spicy Texan and the Turkey Maple Gouda Panini! this was the sloppiest sandwich I've ever had. I had the Sophia Loren and it was impossible to hold in your hand and eat as a normal sandwich. The thin whole wheat bread tasted like regular grocery bread and the sandwich was just turkey, a huge chunk of lettuce, lots of mayo and a cranberry jelly and somewhere in there was a slice of cheese. Who knew that sandwiches could be so good! So glad to find this place after a morning of hiking! Great for the ride home. I will admit that the Chai Latte was a bit disappointing. Moving to the Watertown area and I'm so happy I found this place in my exploration week. The size of sandwich I got for the price is crazy! Had lunch here today. The stars are based on the average of the 2 items I ordered today. I had the Vito's favorite sandwich. I would say it's a 2 star sandwich. Bread was ehh. The meat wasn't great. Thank goodness the lunch special came with a soup. That was a four star maybe more soup. It was a chicken tortellini soup. It was delicious. It tasted homemade. If it isn't homemade I was fooled. Everything lacks flavor or seasoning and yet they still feel the need to over charge u. Spent 40$ on a couple small coffees and sandwiches. A wrap that had warm sauce and yet cold meat. Vito's offers a wide variety of cleverly named and crafted sandwiches. I had trouble deciding which I wanted because they all sounded so delicious. I decided on the Mona Lisa, and it didn't disappoint. Da Vinci would be proud. That pesto mayo!! So delicious. I got a whole, and the sandwich was huge. A lot of sandwich for a reasonable price with very quick service. They also had soups which looked delicious but I did not indulge. They serve a variety of caffeinated beverages at a coffee bar. Such a large selection of food and drink at a cute location. The restaurant was also exceptionally clean. I appreciate that quite a bit. Me and my 13-year-old daughter were randomly walking home and it started really snowing so we went into this nice little sand wedge joints located on Public Square the girl behind the counter was amazing very nice told us what to expect on the sandwiches and helped us make an order now me and my daughter have frequent this place quite a few times and even DoorDash the service is amazing and the sandwiches are just beyond anything you would expect from a little hometown restaurant highly recommend this place read more

I had the diablo and Sophia Loren sandwich. The diablo is roast beef (or turkey) with bacon, pepperjack cheese, horseradish, green pepper, lettuce, tomato and rye bread. The Sophia Loren was turkey, provolone, cranberry relish, almonds, lettuce and wheat bread. I liked the diablo better because it had more flavor. The Sophia Loren was slightly dry for me. I ordered a banana split vitoccino (like a frappucino) and waited a while for it to be made. I looked over and noticed that other people were getting their drinks before mine and that they weren't working on any blended drinks. The workers forgot about my order even though I had just placed the order before 1-2 other guests. The store was not crowded at the time I ordered. The banana split frozen coffee drink was too sweet. You order sandwiches in the back left window and pay for it at the right stand. You also order drinks at the right stand. The half sandwiches are pretty large and cost around $5. I thought it was a good deal. I like how many sandwich options they have and how the store is casual in nature. They showcase art for sale. read more

Everything is super fresh - staff loves Mona Lisa and diablo sammies. I love all of their super fresh soups, doesn't matter what kind, they're all amazing. Typically I will check on Facebook to see what amazing specials they are featuring that day - always love their ciabattas. Greek salad is also very good! Stopped here on the way back from my presentation. Excellent sandwiches. I had the club and it was too big for me to complete. My friend got the chicken salad and that also was huge and tasted delicious. You can always tell a good place by the number of cars especially when you're traveling through A country town. An unfortunately disappointing experience. We got to Vito's at 12 on the dot on a Monday (a Monday that was a federal holiday, meaning less customers) and they were completely out of the soups they had advertised that day (which were the only soups they served). The desk worker's response? "Oh, that went quick!". Yeah, thanks for your help. I could go into detail about how my chicken salad wrap had mushy texture and no flavor, or how my spouse's buffalo chicken wrap had a weird taste and no recognizable pieces of chicken.. but I won't. We have all had mediocre sandwiches before. Take another step below that, and you have Vito's. And no- they don't serve anything other than cold sandwiches or soup. Unless you count pre-packaged store bought chips and cookies. Yawn.. Also- very expensive! Two wraps, a half-cup of soup, two drinks and a bag of chips- that added up to 35$ somehow. HOW????!!! This place has amazing homemade soups and tasty sandwiches. We came in at 2:50ish on a Monday. Yelp's hours said 3:30 but I quickly learned they were wrong. The barista greeted us as we came in and said they were about to close and we could only get an order to go. When in line at the food counter, I clearly heard an employee complaining about us and another woman who had just come in. Now, I had I known that they closed at 3:00PM, I wouldn't have come in- I even said that and apologized to the staff. That being said, customers shouldn't hear employees complaining about them. It was uncomfortable. On to the food - delicious. A large sandwich easily feeds two people. The soups are homemade and super tasty. Though I wanted a difference one that had already been thrown away, the soup I had was very good. All in all - I'd recommend... just don't go close to closing! read more

I love Vito's! Always friendly, made to order service and they get to know their customers. I know it's 'just' sandwiches and soup, but their food is amazing. I find myself craving a sandwich, when I'm more of a sweets person any other time. I asked the owner where they source their lunch meat because it's so moist and tender, and they roast it themselves! And the juices from roasting go into making their yummy soups. When it starts to warm up I'll definitely be trying some of their grab and go salads that look awesome as well.
