Unfortunately this Friday evening out on the patio they had a DJ doing some music. The volume level was appropriate for dinner, but it got a bit too heavy with club vibes as dinner progressed, which surprisingly, being The Chainsmokers fan that I am, I did not find myself appreciating. My favorite place for breakfast and lunch for two reasons: 1) The food 2) The service The food is consistently fantastic. I always get the banana pancakes, hash browns and sausage because they are always prepared perfectly - and coffee is incredible. I've also had their sandwiches for lunch - and it's awesome. The service is friendly and fast - I love going on Saturday or Sunday mornings because I know the staff to be nice, enthusiastic and kind. It makes eating here a true pleasure. Finally, the drinks. My sister and I get a good laugh every time we visit because we are guaranteed to have at least 6 drinks on the table at any moment -and there's nothing wrong with that. DELICIOUS!!! read more

My boyfriend and I have been to Pangea 3 times now and have vowed that even though we are moving to Waverly soon, we will drive to Waconia every Sunday morning to get breakfast here, and make it our family tradition with our son. This breakfast/lunch cafe provides some of the best food in Waconia, and likely the county. Their variety is impressive, and their takes on the old standards make your mouth water. The banana fosters waffle is inspired, and definitely worth a trip. Either get there early or prepare to wait about 10-15 minutes, as the popularity of the place has yet to (and will hopefully never) wane. Turnover, however, is good and prompt.
